Porto Del Cervo in Fareham

This restaurant went above and beyond for my Birthday! The restaurant kitchen usually closes at 3pm but we were not able to get to the restaurant until 3.30pm! When I contacted the manager to make the booking she explained that she was happy to accommodate us (10 in total) and that she would have a word with the chef's and ask if they were happy to work late so that we could arrive at 3.30pm! The food and the service were excellent and I cannot fault how attentive the service was! We will definitely be going back!

We really enjoyed our meal here. It is great to have this restaurant open and providing top quality seafood, pizza and great service. We have now visited for both dinner which was lovely and for a pizza lunch which was equally so. With this quality and a menu offering fish specials too we will definitely be back.

Great visit. So nice to find an Italian restaurant run by Italians. The other guests there had children who, as usual for Italians, were treated like royalty. Christian who is from Porto Cervo in Sardinia was wonderful, especially when we spoke Italian to him. We’ll be back

Restaurant concepts at this marina have come and gone in quick succession, so we hoped this new one would be good enough to succeed. Our first visit, to try the food and decide if good enough to bring friends in future. Pleased to say it exceeded our expectations. Some delicious olives and breads arrived while we perused the menu. OH ordered pizza, I tried a bit and it was delicious, gorgonzola can be overpowering but this was buttery and offset by the chutney and artichoke. I wanted to give the kitchen more of a workout so went for seared tuna - it was out of this world, soft and delicate with delicious pistachio cream. I'd definitely order that again. We each had a really nice "Helmsman" wine by the glass which was good value. Served by a really pleasant young man, seemed fairly new to it but did a great job. Well done!

Had a wonderful lunch here with family, the restaurant is set right on the river hamble and has a lovely atmosphere. The food was well presented and tasted great I especially enjoyed the prawn starter. I will be returning very soon.
