Great pizza! We've been coming here for ages and we've never been disappointed. The food is great and the staff is more than friendly. It's the best Italian restaurant in town and you can find the traditional food in the original Italian ambience. I very much recommend it.

We spotted this restaurant as we were walking by. It was full of people & really buzzing. We checked out the menu & really liked the food choices. We booked for next day & the restaurant didn't disappoint. We were served with politeness & we asked for recommendations & they were happy to assist. Starters were the dosa, & prawns cooked fresh. We had the lamb biriyani. I had vegetarian dishes the mixed vegetables, mushroom & pototoe curry & the paneer spinach plus chappatti. The food was delicious & the spice was absolutely spot on for us. The service was excellent & we would certainly go back if we're in Eastbourne.

I have recently decided to try Veganism but like most Vegans I don't like to talk about it ;-) Looking for Vegan food of high quality in Eastbourne, is fairly difficult. A few restaurants offer "vegan options" but that usually means taking the ham or chicken out of something and hoping that will do. Not acceptable these days. So we tried Green Bros. It's hidden away from the centre of town but not really that far, behind the Grand Hotel. The guys here are very passionate about their food and also friendly and knowledgeable. They will even tell you how they make things if they have time. The food was great and the wine, reasonable. If you are unsure about the Vegan thing...have the Doner Kebab. It's epic! (And fully Vegan...tell everyone!)

We’d gone to the Towner to see a particular exhibition, which as it happened, had closed the week before so we settled on a larger - and really rather dreary - exhibition instead. Feeling somewhat deflated we tried to grab a coffee and a snack in the ground floor cafe. It was closed, due to staff shortages. Boo. And this why the Towner dining experience only scored a four from me, I’m afraid. The top floor restaurant seemed to be a little grander than we had planned to use, with a menu that looked a bit, well, esoteric. Still, we pressed on and took the lift up to the top floor to find an attractively laid out room, a friendly waitress and the chance to have pretty much what we might have hoped for in the downstairs facility. But . . the standard was simply outstanding. Scandinavian light cuisine prepared and presented (promptly) with delicacy and gorgeous attention to detail. Thoroughly recommended, but do check exhibition end dates before setting off.

I decided to visit this coffee house whilst on a shopping trip today. Unfortunately the initial pleasant ambiance was ruined by a lady worker, shouting very aggressively at a young member of staff who looked very upset and shocked. She chose to reprimand him publicly without showing any concern for how that affected him, her other stuff and the experience of customers on the premises. Her unprofessional attitude and conduct was shocking to witness. I frequent many coffee houses and cafes across the town but absolutely nothing could encourage me to return here and I will advise friends and family of my poor experience of this place too.

If you are vegan then you will absolutely LOVE it here. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Bijou premises with added outdoor seating. Clean. Dog friendly. I have given a 4 star rating as i felt the portion was a little on the small side for the price.

Myself and 3 friends ate at the Dolma last night it was superb,we all had starters and mains and were treated to some ice cream which had been made earlier in the day as a complimentary sweet. The menu has dishes that I have never heard of before the chicken dumplings (momo) were outstanding. We were made to feel more like members of the family than paying customers we will definitely be returning soon.

A great find in Eastbourne! I have lived in Eastbourne for nearly 2 years and so pleased I chose this great Tea Room for a meeting with a very old friend I have not seen in decades. Plenty to catch up over perfectly served Darjeeling tea, toasted tea cakes and butter, and americano coffees. One and half hours of reminiscing. Service, food and ambience perfect. Toilets were extremely clean. I am very pleased to have discovered this perfect establishment. So many ordinary coffee places in Eastbourne - this stands out and my I will be trying out Afternoon Tea and a light lunch in the next few weeks!

Cuckoo Cakes has been replaced by Cafe Italia. A lot more dishes have been added to the menu which now features both British and Italian food. The spaghetti carbonara is the best I have ever had. I wish them all the best for their new venture.
