Been here several times. Food always delicious and plenty of it. Staff friendly and efficient. Value for money especially lunchtime.

We had a delicious lunch sitting in the courtyard of the restaurant. A very varied menu and friendly service. It is definitely on my list of 'go to' places for a meal out.

Dog Friendly? Had my dog sitting on my lap. Told it had to sit on the floor…… won’t be returning and certainly not a haven! Not busy apart from the locals having tea and cake.

Had a amazing roast dinner last Sunday at the carvery! Very friendly and welcoming staff! Will defiantly be going back again!

We stopped at The Royal Oak for lunch with 4 adults and 2 children. They managed to fit us in next to a roaring fire, The staff were very friendly and polite. The food was tasty and very reasonable. We dont usually have a pudding but all 6 of us did and it was enjoyed by all. The carpark is small and behind the pub. Very popular.

Used to absolutely love Pizza Pronto. Their deep pan pizza use to have an amazing hand stretched fluffy base. The mix of cheese was a great blend of strong and smooth. They just felt like nice hand made pizzas.... Ordered tonight and I feel like I could have put 2 frozen pizzas in the oven.... The bases feel and taste like they are factory made. The cheese is different. No tangy cheddar in there anymore. When I phoned to find out if anything has changed they said nothing had changed. We had noticed over the past couple of years the menu had kebabs added to it.... And the new signage... It's not Pronto as we knew it. Real shame.

This was our first order and I must say it was beautiful, nothing was overly spicy as we ordered shredded chilli chicken, everything was freshly made and the owners were lovely and welcoming We will definitely come back again

we ordered our takeaway and the young lad read it back to us. Took 20 minutes which weren't bad. Paid and collected our order and when we got home part of the order was wrong. Called them up and they said they would exchange it to what we ordered but we would have to collect. Not happy with the fact they got the order wrong and we had to go back out again to collect which meant the rest of the food would go cold. So we had to wait even longer to eat and reheat the food we already had. Wont use again

One of the most chaotic dining experiences I’ve ever had. I came here with my partner and my parents and were seated by the door. After we’d sat a reservation came in and it was a shambolic experience watching as the wait staff tried to work out where to seat them. We waited a long while to be asked our drinks order which was done without ever seeing a drinks menu, and the food menu was written on one chalkboard which was haphazardly passed around the restaurant, meaning people waited a long, long time to be served. The waitresses had fairly long hair that was not tied up (even though they had hair bands on their wrists), which was quite off putting, and mobile phones hanging out their pockets - a fairly unprofessional look, they looked absolutely terrified to handle a plate of food as the service got busier. There was also a lack of communication around who had or hadn’t been served, contributing to the overall chaos. It was also incredibly hard to work out who there staff were, in order to ask for help. Food took a long time to come out, first we had two prawn cocktails which were fine. The roasts came out and the vegetable portion was the same for a table of 4 as it was a table of 2 meaning there was not enough veg to go round, we asked for more but this didn’t come. The chicken was okay but the beef was inedible, incredibly oily and fatty with a bitter taste. The roast potatoes tasted like they’d been deep fat fried and were not enjoyable. By the time the food came we’d waited a very long time so ate what we could because we were hungry, but both beef roast dinners were largely untouched. I hate to complain as I know hospitality is a difficult industry, but it seemed that the organisation here completely crumbled as soon as the sun came out and the day got busier - a worrying sign given that summer is coming. I am grateful however for one of the more senior staff members who sorted out our bill as we were getting ready to leave.

Firstly they don't take cash, at that point I should have walked out. Had to wait over 10 minutes for an espresso even though more people came in after me they still managed to get their drinks first. No eye contact poor customer service.
