Fantastic place for coffee, breakfast, lunch or cake. Food is always great, as is the coffee, and the character of the building makes this a really nice place to while away the hours. Best of all though are the lovely, lovely staff who are so warm and welcoming, and an absolute pleasure to have got to know over the past 2 plus years. It's almost like my 2nd home as I spend so much time here. 😊 😊

10/10 breakfast, delicious meal, good variety of food and drinks, great location on the marina. Friendly service. Parking is £2. Just along the main beach about a 10 mins walk away. We will be back.

One of my go to places for breakfast and lunch as I'm lucky to live in Dover and visit on a regular basis. The breakfast is absolutely amazing and washing it down with my favourite americano coffee. The selection of freshly made cakes is enough to temp anyone to try. The food quality is out this world, poached eggs on toast with bacon 🥓 😋 👌 is spot on. Come and visit and you won't be disappointed

I've been coming here since it opened almost 2 years ago after moving from the original Independent Pedaler in Bridge. The coffee and food are great as always, especially the brekkie, homemade soup and cakes and the staff are amazing and super friendly. There is still the nod to the cycling background from Bridge, although it attracts a mixture of people. They are also dog friendly for anybody with a 4 legged friend. The location is great too - right on the Curve with lovely views of the new Marina. I feel I'm almost part of the furniture here now because I go there so often, and can totally recommend a visit.

Latest visit.... Amazing coffee and delicious banana loaf. Carrot cake not the best today. Update.... Popped in for a delicious afternoon lunch Must say pork bap with dripping gravey was awesome and so was my partner's omelette. Crusted new roasted potatoes were excellent. Good traditional tea here and super coffee!! Would definitely revisit and highly recommended. Delightful cafe serving up some excellent coffee and cake. Also there's main meals available which I've not had the pleasure in trying yet. But I can recommend the toast banana bread, absolutely delicious with a perfectly made cappuccino. Staff pleasant, attentive and helpful. Highly recommended

Spire’s Cafe - true hospitality. It’s not modern or has amazing decor. It’s an old church, converted into a cafe. We left our airb&b and walked around Deal and couldn’t find one that could set all 9 of us until we chanced upon Spire’s Cafe at 11am still serving breakfast!! The lady showed us into a side room. Yes, it has mismatched furniture (but I’d gladly bring home one of the dining tables which is most likely an antique!). We were served a full English breakfast with coffee (latte, cappuccino or whatever is your favourite) or tea. Then we were gifted with Bubble & Squeek!! (For those of us not familiar with this, it’s basically fried vegetables - potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli - or any leftover vegetables). And all just £8 each. Add £2 for two pieces of hash brown!

Noticed this bijou shop as we were attracted initially by the Groovy illuminated sign in the window advertising cloths and coffee/tea. What a surprise! We were greeted warmly by a young lady behind the counter. The main surprise was it was incredibly small, 2 individual chairs, a 2 seater retro cloth settee and an additional small seating area immediately under the counter in front of the display of cakes (not ideal) customers would literally be sitting virtually upon each other although we were the only customers in attendance at that moment in time. We had tea and 2 rather small cakes and were charged over £12! To summarise, whilst the young lady serving was friendly she fell short on what pricing of the cloths and various items for sale were if not tagged and also was rather naive in knowledge about the local town area. Overall the experience was different and the products for sale were interesting albeit scant we would not choose to return over other more spacious and better value venues locally.
