The best restaurants in Chichester South East

We have been staying in selsey for a few days and decided to have dinner at Waves. We couldn’t fault the service, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. Our food was hot , on hot plates and very tasty. I would highly recommend this cafe for a great value meal. And my friend also said the chef was hot!!

How hard is it to do a sausage sandwich. Apparently, hard. . No butter on the bread and burnt sausages. The quality of the sausages is very poor. Stick with riviera.

Great Coffee and pastries, with a small indoor seating area. Very quick service.

Reviewed 1 week ago Brilliant Deli/cafe!! Absolutely superb food and service was fabulous!! The deli counter was filled with gorgeous products ranging from fresh meat, local pies and cheeses and to top it off the most amazing cakes you can imagine! Tres de nosotros llamamos aquí dos veces el viernes 22 de noviembre. Nuestro primer descanso a media mañana fue solo para tomar el té / café. Las ollas de té que comimos costaron 2 libras: 50 y cada uno tenía al menos dos + tazas de cada olla. Un café blanco plano le costará 3 libras: 25 . Nuestra segunda visita fue para comida y más bebidas. Esta vez dos de nosotros comimos el sándwich de salchicha triple a £ 3 cada uno y uno tuvo el sándwich de tocino triple a £ 3. La comida es servida por algunas damas realmente encantadoras que son muy eficientes, amables y te hacen sentir como en casa. Es solo un lugar muy pequeño y se llena especialmente a la hora del almuerzo. Recomendamos encarecidamente una visita aquí y disfrutar de algo de comida y una bebida. Gracias señoritas.

We found Potter's on a trip to the Pagham local nature reserve. We both had crab rolls which were excellent. They fill the roll with a good amount of crab and nice addition of a few crisps. And all served up in compostable boxes and bags, brilliant!Friendly, cheerful staff too.A nice find.Thank you!

I cannot recommend Varr Party House enough. I had the pleasure of organising my friends hen do and the party house was perfect for such an occasion. The location has amazing views, and we were lucky to see a lovely summers sunset over the fields that sit behind the house. The house itself is beautiful with so much to look at inside. The food was sensational, and there was so much on offer for what we paid for it. Jane was absolutely brilliant in keeping in contact and helping me organise the night. On the night, the owner and bar manager both tended to our needs. The bride-to-be and all her hens had a great night and we will be back again at some point!

Absolutely gorgeous food, classy interiors and fabulous waiting and cooking staff. I thoroughly recommend this to everybody.

Just had Sunday lunch there and it was superb. The young staff were attentive and very polite. I would highly recommend it and look forward to my next roast dinner there . Well done 🙏

Excellent!! We had the Avocado Smash Bagel and enjoyed it immensely. Everyone was cheerful and helpful. So happy to have found a plant based coffee shop in the area. Looking forward to our next visit.

He estado aquí varias veces para el desayuno, el almuerzo y el té de la tarde. La comida es excelente y el personal siempre es encantador, pero ni una vez el servicio ha sido profesional. Siempre una larga espera, a menudo ignorada mientras el personal parece desorganizado y carente de dirección. Realmente me encanta - la comida, la decoración y el ambiente son de primera clase y el personal es amable, pero no está a la altura del estándar de la Joanna original en Storrington.

Ask for crispy chips... it's worth the extra wait. Always recognition and a cheery welcome. The fish is sea fresh and everything is as it should be.

This is one of my favourite breakfast places, the food is of excellent quality, they never skimp on the fillings and the prices are reasonable. Always piping hot and served with a smile. You can’t ask for anything better. My next try is the steak sandwich 😊

Great asset for the village, as a local store, and very welcome break on a cycle as cafe stop. Always lovely fresh sandwiches, pies and flans and cakes, plus great coffee from the van beside.
