The best restaurants in undefined Ashford South East

I recently won a Latte Art masterclass at the cafe with Head Barista Nathan Cooper. What a fantastic experience. Nathan is an excellent, patient tutor with wealth f knowledge about all things coffee! He immediately made me feel at ease and I had a great time having a go at practising different creations. Nathan also showed me some of his artistic work, including a pegasus design. Thank you so much! I never realised there was so much skill in creating beautiful latte art designs.

This is a fantastic place to eat from spectacular all day breakfast, to great specials and great cakes. Today I had the lamb pie special with chips and veg. It is the best pie I’ve eaten since my Mum’s and she was a brilliant cook. Thank you.

I did order from this place before but for some reason it was along time ago. Decided to give it a go again and glad I did it . Very nice , fresh fish ! Good value for money , good customer service for sure will order again.

I felt like this lovely little tea room deserved a trip advisor listing of its own. It is 5* just like it’s sister tea room, but a lot smaller. This adds to its atmosphere and it’s like stepping back in time, with the decor and music. It is quintessentially English and a really enjoyable place to stop and have a little drink and a bite to eat. They do also offer take away, which would be handy for those people working locally. Lastly the staff are also the same high standard as we have got used to in The Little Tea Pot. See you again soon and keep up the good work! You make Ashford a better place!

We liked the atmosphere here and the food was OK, not outstanding. But what did spoil our evening were the prices of the desserts. They are priced at £8.50 an extraordinary price but I thought I'd chance it. I had the Lemon Amici mess (based on Eton mess). Cheap squirty cream, a few pieces or meringue and a splodge of lemon curd. £8.50!!!!!! None of our party were happy with these dishes. This one was worth at most, £2.50. Never again.

Disappointed changed to Goddard pies prefer Menzies

had a delicious souvlaki lunch box here! items were all cooked fresh and the box was generous portion size - great value!

Excellent food as usual but I couldn’t use my £9 stamp card discount it wouldn’t let me. Now it’s gone back to 1 stamp

The best christmas lunch around, there must have been approx 50 + people, the service was 1st class, the food was even better, ( the sweet trolley was to die for) all home made , you'll have a job to find anywhere better, good sign is it's always busy,

Our go to place in Ashford. Great beers that rotate very frequently which is perfect for beer enthusiasts, the food is fantastic and the music and atmosphere are great.

It’s the time I’ve been more disrespected in a restaurant. We have booked for 7:45pm for the whole family, to celebrate my birthday, got there sharp on time, then they sent us to Itaca to have a drink cause table was not ready. That place was closed, we went back to Buenos Aires, all the family waiting outside in the cold, another group with same number of people came, and sit before us, that was already 8:10pm. I’ve never seen anything like that, asked to cancel the booking and left, I still dont know the reasons, maybe being Brazlians (who love Argentina culture and meat btw), but it was extremely disrespectful for me and my whole family. And we have been to Buenos Aires many times before, but never treated so badly like that, with very rude staff!!!

I visited on Friday 1st November with my grandson for a light lunch whilst we were in town. I never usually leave reviews but the service was excellent and the food was lovely, I would certainly recommend this café and will visit again.

Food was really nice as well as the service.
