The best restaurants in South East

we ordered 3 drinks and only recieved 2. everything was OK apart from that.

Quite vibrant, good for young folk, excellent food, well balanced waiting staff, not interrupting our meal. On the night we were there there were three birthday celebrations with singing!

Really nice and really good value

Wow. I have not enjoyed food as much I did at this place in a long time. Every single thing I ordered was 10/10. I wish my stomach was an endless pit so I could eat the whole menu. They have a great variation of meat and vegetarian options. I especially enjoyed their spicy potato and the falafel and halloumi wrap which was seasoned so nicely and not dry. Their portions are also huge and ingredients are fresh so you definitely get your moneys worth. I need to try their deserts next time, they look amazing, but I was too full hahaha. The staff are very accommodating and helpful and if you are unsure of what to get or what things mean they are more than happy to help. The two lady waitresses had impeccable service and I was lucky enough to meet the owner and he was very professional and friendly. He should be very proud of this amazing restaurant. The interior was also very beautiful I love all of the gold and the music created an amazing ambiance. It is lovely to experience other cultures especially in a place like Guildford where things tend to be all the same.

We had a great Sunday Roast dinner at the Plough Inn. Lovely friendly staff, the pub has great ambience and a nice place to eat and have a few drinks. Thank you.

Really good Guinness. Possibly the best I've had in the UK. Nice place, great service and chat with the boss.

Great food with chilled atmosphere.

We go fairly regularly and, up until recently, it has been one of my favourite country pubs. However, the last few times we have visited, the food hasn’t been as good. I’ve given up on the duck spring rolls as they often have fat in them and the veg doesn’t always taste as fresh as it should. At £20 for a lot of the mains, it’s very overpriced for what it is. The standard has definitely dropped and I question how often we will frequent. Such a shame as I used to love it here.

If your looking for a lovely country pub in the Kent countryside this pub is definitely worth a visit. Always a warm welcome , friendly attentive staff, and excellent food which is reasonably priced. We're definitely be back soon .

We went for dinner last night. This was the fourth time of visiting. The restaurant is small but perfectly formed. From the very start we were well looked after and made to feel at home. The menu is an amazing selection of real Italian delicacy. With an impressive wine list to match. The food is delicious but be careful the portions are large. Thank you for a lovely experience again. Wow wow wow. Delicious food! All plates were empty by the end. (2 adults 2 kids) Note: Make sure you ring to reserve a table - it's a very popular little place! It's dog friendly 🐶 The toilet is down steep narrow stairs (unsure if there's a second option but just a heads up !). Best brunch we've ever had. Highly recommend heading here !
