Extremely poor and very disappointed with the food and service this evening. Will never return

Great evening. Went as a group of four and had a thoroughly enjoyable meal of a wide range of dishes, all excellent, and had good and courteous service through out our visit. Will definitely return.

Our first visit to this lovely restaurant with our friends, a birthday treat ...absolutely brilliant company was great aswell

Just had takeaway from here not sure why in all the years we have never tried it but wow best I've had, have various dishes and the tandoori prawns are amazing, thanks guys will be back without a doubt. All from brunstock beck

A rare miss from a usually good place - the samosas were underdone and greasy, and mutter rice was delivered rather than mushroom, which was overpowered by coriander. Tikka masala was nice though. Hopefully back to usual form next time I order 😕

First time ordering and this is the best Indian in Didcot by far, also came early on a Saturday night. We will be ordering again.

Ordered without onions, onions were in everything, order was inedible as a result

Food was tasty but cold. Poppadoms were soft. For the price of the meat dishes there was not a lot of meat in the dish and chicken was chewy. Real shame as the suace of the dish was one of the tastiest around this area with good hygiene rating.

one dish short though - saag aloo was missing from the order

Second time weve ordered & great both times. Food was great quality, delivered hot and 10mins earlier than scheduled, in a Saturday night. Highly recommend

Rarely have a take away but had a friend over so ordered. Amazing food, tender meat and decent portions sizes. Only regret is the amount I ate! 🤣

Late delivery.. Ordered chicken biryani however received veg biryani. When phoned them, they did offer to send chicken biryani but we decided not to wait. When called them staff was rude. This was our second order.. for the first one we had to wait half an hour past the collection time.. Would not order again.

Fresh ingredients and very tasty Nepalese specials

Really great food that's delivered hot and fresh and always by really kind delivery drivers. I've never eaten inside the restaurant but can recommend the food, especially if you like it quite spicy. Have only ever had a slightly late delivery once but when I called the restaurant they communicated where my food was and apologised for it being delayed as the restaurant was super busy. My go to take away.

Lovely tasting curry, fluffy rice, extra poppadoms and sauces were a lovely surprise as not all local Indian cuisine deliveries add this touch. The only thing slightly bringing the score down was the chicken was a little tougher than it should have been, either slightly overdone or re-heated perhaps, but was a weekday and can't fault the rest of the experience so will be ordering here again.

Really friendly service, the atmosphere was lovely and the food was absolutely top notch. Will definitely come again.

Loved the food. When I contacted the restaurant they were quick to apologise for the late delivery and assure me it was on its way so no complaints.

Nice level of spice, little too much oil but very typical of indian takeaway.

Foods always lush. Families favourite for a takeaway curry. You got to try the Rum-Rum 👌

Was a great delivery just a little bit earlier than expected but appreciated, food was a little spicer than normal but definitely tasty and great size portions

Late delivery. Eventually delivered but found that main meal was wrong and there was a piece of wire approx 1.5 inches found in the rice. Called restaurant and whilst they replaced it and took the piece of wire (to show the kitchen staff), didn't offer any form of compensation aside from a bottle of Coke. Avoid ordering from here unless you want delayed, wrong food with bits of wire in it. Will be reporting to Environmental Health.

Not recommended Ordered delivery- Vegetarian korma, paneer bhurji, 4 types of bread. Late delivery 2. All 4 types of different breads were rubbery and not chewable 3. Vegetarian korma was very sweet 4. Paneer bhurji was ok.

Wonderfully well looked after. Advise given on what to eat and drink. Food was really good non hurried evening. Fully recommended as a good place to eat. We were just passing through on a change of destination plan. If we're ever that way again will eat here.

BEST CURRY IN DIDCOT! We usually go to a different restaurant but our last meal wasn’t anything to rave about, so we tried Gurkha Sunkoshi, and Oh My! It did not disappoint and we have found our new regular! Absolutely beautiful, so flavoursome! Well done!

Delicious garlic chicken curry, I will be ordering this again. CTMassalla is hubby’s go to, no nasty colours and full of flavour.

Tasty food and delivered early, even on a Saturday evening. I ordered 2 poppadoms and they gave me 5 with no extra charge so that was a bonus! Yummy pilau rice and chicken tikka too. Highly recommend

6weeks now I’ve had a vindaloo delivered on a sat night best Indian in didcot in my opinion!

Food was great but they sent the wrong items. Received a meat dish after choosing a vegetarian option. Not happy but can't complain about the quality

My hopes were quite high for this restaurant, and it exceeded expectations! Superb food and friendly service. The Chicken Ridi, spinach side and Gurkha nan were all delicious.

The very best we have had for a very long time. Really good quality food made with excellent ingredients and we all enjoyed it. It took quite a while to arrive but that just made us enjoy it all the more!

Won't lie, my meal was absolutely terrible but my friend's wasn't hence why I'm leaving the two stars, the reason for this was the starter, the momo were just plain average, exceptionally boring but I could live with that, however the chicken Tikka masala.. I would rather have Pataks, I don't know what spices or sauce they use but I'm 99% sure it's Heinz tomato soup, absolutely vile, would you eat rice with tomato soup?.. I definitely wouldn't. Not a great meal overall, service was alright though. Maybe 2 stars is harsh but honestly the main dish was so awful I think it's justified.

I ordered a lamb rum rum, but recieved a chicken dish instead. However, I still got billed for the more expensive lamb option; not impressed with that. Gurkha Sunkoshi is normally more on the ball...

Food great as always however apparent the driver was "on the way" for 30 minutes and it looks as if restaurant report on Just Eat that it was delivered 25 minutes before it actually was. Not ideal. Just be honest about expected delivery times, that's better than this..

Have recently moved to Gurkha Sunkoshi from other local takeaways. Their food is generally a bit more spicy than many, which I prefer.

Chicken Pasanda and chicken tikka were a lot spicier than expected. Also tasted very similar to one another...

Everything is spicy nowadays, even the saag aloo! It never used to be this spicy, it just used to be tasty. Bit disappointing really...

I ordered three different curries that all tasted the same and overly sweet. Complimentary stale poppadums. Over cooked land and chicken tikka. Only thing I wouldn’t fault was the rice. In a nut shell the worst Indian takeaway I’ve ever had. Chose them because of their rating which obviously is nothing to judge by! Would not recommend at all!!!

Our favourite Indian restaurant in Didcot. Always tasty food. Had a slight hiccup with the order saying it was ready for collection but having to wait a few minutes when we got there, but could have been something on Just Eats end. An item was missing but they tried to get in touch to let us know, we called when we realised and they swiftly delivered a fresh replacement and some bonus bhaji!

Meal was wonderful, service was fantastic food arrived early. would highly recommend.

The food was delivered on time, and as always it was very tasty. The size of the portions is always generous. As a plus the service is always excellent as well. What else can you ask for? Well done Gurkha, keep it up!
