First time here and I can honestly say I wish I had discovered this place sooner! Every item of food was incredible and I had to stop myself from trying to order more so I could try new things. Big plus that you can bring your own drinks with no corkage too. Service was very warm and friendly. Look forward to coming back - this place really stands out!

Unfortunately, a bad experience this evening. Ordered for delivery with estimated delivery time at 50mins. After this time had lapsed and no sign of food, I rang the restaurant just to check it was on its way. The person I spoke to then went off to check and I overheard some heated conversation around “it hasn’t been sent yet??”, followed by the person on the phone telling it would be with me in 5-10 mins and apologising for the delay. 25 mins later (76 mins from ordering), my food finally arrives stone cold. I had to reheat it completely, and rang the restaurant to provide feedback about this. Nothing was offered so I directly asked for my delivery charge at least to be refunded which was met with “you can have one item free when you book next time”. Not good enough, and when there is such stiff competition in Twyford, it’s unlikely I’ll be ordering again. A great shame as I’ve been a loyal customer of Mitas for over 8 years.

Two of us went for dinner. Taste was great, service was great. Only downside, portions are a bit small for the price. We spent 25£ per person and did not feel full enough. Portions are quite small. One has to order a lot of different foods to have enough when hungry. Bread and rice normally comes for free or at least in large amounts, they charge extra for each slice and bowl.

I've been going here for many years and the same people are still running the place so no surprise that the food and the welcome has stayed at a high standard.

We have been regulars here for a couple of years now, always great. Bring your own beer and wine with no corkage charge and tasty food and friendly staff. What’s not to like 👍

We usually order delivery from Mitas but we're nearby so we went in to dine. The food was amazing as always and it's so special to sit down and have great service!

Just had my second lot of food from Mitas. We collected a takeaway just over a month ago and thought it was very good, staff were friendly and food was hot and ready to collect at the time given to us. Ordered for delivery tonight again delicious food, delivery driver very courteous and delivery time was quick too. Will use again and again in future!

Very nice food at very reasonable prices. Good atmosphere with staff that are not watching your every movement, and it's a nice bonus that you can take your own drink with you. A very good evening out.

Excellent food and being a BYO is a huge bonus. Strange that none of the staff wore face masks, though.

Very good food, they also deliver locally free. We use infrequently, but I have to say that the quality is consistent whenever we use them. The sag bahjee is wonderful, best I have ever had. Update: Since lockdown we've used them more often recently and the food is still consistently very good. Another update - lockdown 2.0. They were clearly very busy on this Saturday night and the delivery took a long time to arrive, but no complaints here. Delicious as always and much appreciated.

Our favourite place to get a takeaway curry from in Twyford. Always fantastic. Expect to wait for 45 minutes to an hour for your delivery, but they always say that.

Excellent food, excellent service, take your own alcohol as it's not available to buy at the restaurant. Tesco express is a few doors down and waitrose is almost next door.

Been going to Mita's for nearly twenty odd years. My fave curry place. The owners and staff are excellent and very friendly. How about this ... over the years I used to drop in at least once a week and have a lamb madras, but bit by bit I would ask for a tweak here and there (bit of fruit, more chilli, lets try some honey etc etc). Eventually they would see me come in call to the chef "Ramsay Special". So now, the Ramsay Special is on the actual menu :D I would recommend you try it.

Cracking curry house. Note that it is BYOB, but with Waitrose just next door, this is not usually a problem

Best Indian Restaurant around Twyford.

We went on a Sunday for the buffet. The staff went out of their way to give us a veggie selection. They were very polite and friendly. We've had many a curry buffet in Twyford but it was our first time at Mita's- we'll definitely go again as we were very impressed.

Poor staff behaviour. The staff were condescending and uninterested. Left without even trying the food. Ate across the road instead. The staff told us to calm down when we ordered popadoms and asked if it came with any dips.

Sorry, accidently left a one star review trying to leave a 5 star, last monday took some chicken tikka for takeaway. Enjoyed it so much I am going again.

Can only rate the food as always had takeaway, but the food is fantastic. Have sampled lots of the menu and it's always well made and flavoursome. Can recommend the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. They will deliver but we've found that to take ages, so always collect. There's a random car park (about 2 cars can park) tucked in behind the restaurant so use the supermarket car park.

Really good. Not the most adventurous menu but everything is done well. Tastes fresh and there seems to be minimal or no use of food colourings. Have eaten in the restaurant a few times and enjoyed great service. Had delivery as well which us also very good; efficient and friendly. This is the best Indian venue in Twyford.

A fantastic Indian restaurant, great dishes with their tandoori dishes a family favourite. Their Sunday buffet is great value and lets you try everything.

We love this restaurant. We had never eaten a lot of Indian food before going here. The staff are great and very helpful in explaining the dishes for you. Greeted like old friends when we now visit

One of the nicest buffet experiences

I have never had such a disgusting meal the Korma was grey it had no taste and it just tasted of water, the onion bajis were flat cold and greasy they say dogs eat anything well our dog turned his nose up at it so it went in the bin what a waste of good money.
