The best restaurants in South East

Such a lovely Café. I am coeliac and didn’t expect to find anything to eat as this is also a fine Bakery with LOTS of lovely looking pastries and cakes. I was pleased that I could find something to eat and my baked potato was really lovely and the salad was fresh and tasty!

I would rate the food 6/5 if I could. A mix of classics and regional dishes - we finished every bite. We will return when next nearby, encourage you to visit too!

Recently had a large group booking at Aspendos for 24 people, restaurant was great, service was slick and friendly and the food was really great. Definitely recommend if you're looking for something that will cater well for a big group.

My partner and I had the Sunday roast, she had the Pork and I had the Beef, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals, the atmosphere of the old pub was amazing. The staff were great 10/10

Although I meet friends here regularly, I only ate properly the other day as I didn’t have any food in and some friends ordered. Had a king prawn linguine (starter size) as I’m a sucker for seafood. Beautifully presented and really tasty.

Setting is great and has lovely decor. With friendly and attentive staff. Food was good, would go again but quite pricey.

Had a lovely meal celebrating a birthday. Our first visit and will definitely return. The prices are reasonable and food good. Enjoyed the Greek beer and wine to complete the experience.

We go here quite a lot while out cycling, the food is very good and the staff are always very friendly.

I use to be a regular of this pub 35 years. It has been through turbulent times. I must say it is back on track. Very attentive staff, well stocked bar and relaxed atmosphere. Slightly high prices than the usual gastropub serving good food outside London

My normal chippy changed ownership and the quality fell through the floor... found this amazing chippy! The portions are amazing the size of fish Wow and the fish itself easily the best cod I've ever had! Amazing thankyou so much!

Para ser honesto la comida era realmente promedio, pensé que se suponía que era bueno, sin duda por los precios increíbles, pero no me impresionó. la sopa de miso sabía viejo y no estaba lo suficientemente caliente. Mi esposa y yo no apreciamos cómo se estaba hablando con el servidor, creó una mala vibra, es solo un lugar pequeño y se puede escuchar todo lo que está pasando. No está bien, me sentí mal por ellos. También huele a aceite viejo en el lugar y es persistente y desagradable.
