warning note at end!: Came here for an engagement party tonight, the service for drinks was great , the band was also very good! ... however the slab at the entrance was loose and nearly made me fall into the carpark ... BEWARE of this , please fix ASAP!!!!

Edit after a conversation with the owner: Great shop and huge variety of cheeses. I had a small concern about something but the owner responded to me quickly and handled things professionally.

Great chefs and the most incredible waiter and cocktail maker named Robert. Always so attentive, friendly and makes great cocktails.

Not had a takeaway from here in a long time but tried yesterday and was really good! The cod was very fresh and chunky and the haddock was cooked perfectly. It was a real treat, traditional fish & chips! Can’t wait to return!

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I ordered a takeaway from here and both pizzas arrived stone cold. On top of that, both pizzas I ordered were missing buffalo mozzarella which I paid extra for. The chicken I ordered didn’t come with blue cheese sauce as I asked for it to be done. I was also missing 4 garlic and herb dips that I paid extra for. I chose Fanta as one of my drinks and got given something totally different. Save your money, this place is a joke.

I am a vegetarian coeliac and have just eaten the most amazing meal of gluten free chips and battered halloumi followed by battered pineapple . Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. I will definitely make this a regular go to place . Well done to The Chippy!
