Este restaurante es increíble primo griego.
He estado utilizando este restaurante desde 1974 como aprendiz de peluquería en Peter Collinge.
Ambiente fantástico de comida
Food was good. The Medium spicy level is nothing for an Asian's palate. Go for at least Hot if not Extra hot.
Unfortunately, the service was really bad. They took forever to get our drinks order. While we did order drinks for all, we also asked for tap water for all, and they made us feel very uncomfortable for asking. We would be fine if they told us no tap water, and that we could only order bottled water. But instead they kept chatting between themselves, using hand gestures to show "8" - we were 8 pax. And in the end, they only brought 1 glass of water for us.
Food took forever to arrive, more than an hour, when other tables who arrived later than us finished their meal before we even started eating !
I really hope they do something to improve their service, cause the food was really quite good, above average !
I’ve visited Chester twice once celebrating my mother’s birthday and recently with my wife and we visited the deva tap on both occasions. First of all the staff are really friendly and helpful and the food is really good. We had sharing platters on both occasions and they didn’t disappoint there was enough food to feed a family of four and was all cooked perfectly. Great selection of cask ales and ciders, we will definitely be visiting again.
Really good fish and chips, crispy and still hot when we parked up with it. Lots of space to eat in also, which I would possibly do next time.
My only complaint, if possible greaseproof paper at the bottom of the boxes. It had already soaked through before I put gravy on top. By the end of the meal a lot of the chips had stuck to the cardboard and had bits of paper on them and the box was almost falling through.
Other than that lovely!
Service, food presentation and atmosphere were great - especially on a sunny day like today - but the Sunday roast was incredibly disappointing.
The potatoes were SO dry, cold and hard that you couldn’t put a fork through them, and the Yorkshire pudding was bland. The gravy didn’t taste of anything either. Hoping this was just an off day, but incredibly disappointing given the price tag you pay.
The server was lovely but he also at no point asked us how the meal was. He left us to it once food was brought to our table, almost as if he knew food was lacking?
As a local, this was a disappointment. Hoping it was just a one-off as it was busy.
From start to finish a great experience . Booked in with my parents as they were attending a show at the floral pavilion. From the first booking email response it was clear that we were not just another number . A warm welcome. Very relaxed environment , great menu options , absolutely delicious food and attentive service and a very reasonable bill . Would highly recommend and would definitely come back if we are in the area again. It’s so unusual to get that warm family feel in a restaurant these days … keep doing what you are doing and thanks for a lovely experience .
Visited to meet a friend for coffee, this was a good half way point for us.
Service was good, they had decaff option which was a plus, nice atmosphere.
First time at this Italian restaurant, food and service was first class, I had Carppacio for a starter, Halibut for main and Cheese & biscuits. Will definitely be going back.
