We were greeted by very friendly staff, who were attentive but not overbearing during our visit. The food was as always excellent from a well thought out menu . Thank you to all , we will return.

Haven't been for a while to the Ginger Bistro but I will definitely be going again soon. Food value for money, hot, well presented and tasty. Can't fault anything I had. The Service was freindly and attentive and personable. The team working Friday 8th in the evening - fab.

Very disappointing - did not live up to expectations and the reviews we had read. Calamari and halloumi starters clearly frozen then fried to serve. Red Thai sauce not made fresh seemingly from a jar. Salad was covered in olive juice from the jar. Just not good- we absolutely wanted to enjoy our meal but didn't. We left feeling like we had been ripped off

We were so disappointed as had been looking forward to going for some time, but this was overpriced for less than average food and a disappointing experience.

Enjoyed a delightful lunch with friends. Ordered the Lamb Tagine which was delicious washed down with a lovely glass of Merlot and finished off with a flavourful Americano coffee. Pleasantly welcomed on arrival with genuinely friendly and attentive Service. Good selection of quality beverages and food to choose from that would suit most tastes. Happy to pay a return visit again. Can easily recommend!

Service was the only thing that let the experience down as one meal was delayed in the kitchen and the vegetables were brought separate after food given but my party started eating a good 10 minutes before my meal arrived

I arranged a meal at the Ginger Bistro for 22 people in an evening for a work event. All credit to the Ginger Bistro team, the food and service was really outstanding. The food was excellent, full menu to choose from and all served piping hot, delicious and to high standards. The Service was exceptional, faultless. The order was taken efficiently, everything we needed was brought on time. Everybody really enjoyed the evening. Special mention to Alan who went out of his way to ensure my event was a success.

A lovely lunch for an overdue catchup with a dear friend. Remy was friendly, attentive and knowlegable of the menu. We will return. Thank you ☺️

We were visiting from NC and decided to give a ginger Bistro a try for breakfast. We enjoyed it so much, we went back the next morning and tried something different. Our host, Remi made us feel so welcome and was very accommodating.

Faultless.., Fantastic menu for all palates. The food was absolutely fabulous..so tasty. We had a table for eight and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had pork belly which was so delicious...I was tempted by so many other dishes , so will definitely be returning. There's a nice atmosphere here and the service by Millie was 2nd to none, very attentive with a lovely smile. Ginger bistro gets top marks. After a not so great previous visit to The Ginger Bistro myself & my wife thought we’d give it another go so booked a last minute table on a Saturday evening. On this occasion we weren’t disappointed, a warm welcome from a member of staff and the choice of any table we fancied as it wasn’t overly busy. Once seated we promptly ordered drinks and checked out the main menu & specials menu. I decided on halloumi fries to start and chicken supreme for main, my wife chose chilli prawns to start and king prawn linguine for main. Both starters arrived quickly, piping hot with chilli dip and a spirralised salad, my wife’s prawns were in a rather spicy chilli sauce accompanied with the same spirralised salad, both were excellent. Our main dishes arrived soon after and again were piping hot and both delicious, the prawn linguine was packed with big juicy prawns and in a slightly spiced tomato sauce. The chicken supreme was juicy, accompanied with crushed potatoes and a decent amount of well cooked vegetables. We shared a chocolate brownie with ice cream to finish what was an excellent meal. We were so glad we tried this place again, it delivered on all elements, in particular all the staff members were very attentive, friendly, a credit to the owner. I wouldn’t hesitate in returning or recommending this local restaurant.

Staff were attentive and friendly, good atmosphere, but the food was overcooked, we had mixed grills and we couldn’t really eat a lot of it, it was so tough. For the money we spent, it was a shame. Drinks were nice and seats were comfy. You could park behind the restaurant, you can put your number plate into the machine in the foyer.

Service, price and atmosphere were as usual very good. The food however is definitely not as good as previously enjoyed. We only had Cajun wraps which we always have but not as tasty as previous. Better on panini, tomato needs cutting smaller. Please go back to as you were 2 years ago. Not be visiting again for some time sorry

Everything was absolutely perfect..and I would have recommended it all to my friends, but the price of my pint of coke was £6.00, and a small coke was £3...it cost me £9 for a pint and a half of coke..I wouldn't go back again purely on the cost of the drinks

Came for a date night with my partner after a recommendation from a colleague who said there was a good menu for those eating gluten free. Absolutely right he was! I've recently been diagnosed with several allergies including a wheat allergy and I had an amazing amount of options to choose from, both with main courses and desserts. I had the GF fish and chips and my partner had the pork belly - he said it's the best he's ever had. I haven't been able to enjoy a battered fish for a good while and this was so good it's better than most that actually have gluten. Amazing service from the FOH team, lots of smiles and super attentive, even remembering that I wouldn't want the biscuit with the coffee as I'd had everything else gluten free. A real gem of a place, we'll be back!

Last minute early evening decision. Had the chorizo starter and cajun chicken salad. Both where excellent. Salad fresh crisp and juicy. Service very polite and professional.

Very nice and relaxed with attentive service. Food was very good. Some nice subtle flavours in my cod starter and prawn linguine main. Decent wines too. My only ask would be to stock a couple more real ales. The two you had were good, but more is better! Will certainly go again. Recommended.

Went for lunch with my wife on her birthday. Greeting was warm and courteous. I ordered a mixed grill - my wife had the three course set menu and her main course was beef stir fry. My wife’s food was flavoursome and good while mine was average indeed. The meats of lamb chops, pork steak and chicken were overcooked and dry. I was hungry so ate it but mentioned it constructively afterwards and the manager gave me a free coffee!

WOW - what a fantastic experience at the Ginger Bistro. Beautiful food - delicious and beautifully presented. My sister and I visited on a Saturday night when the Restaurant was full but not too busy. We had the scallops and cod as a starter - the Cod was cooked to perfection in a lovely tomato sauce. We then had fillet steak and the special Greek Chicken - both were tasty, lovely and hot and very filling. Lots on the plate. Service and staff were fabulous and very attentive. A superb experience and one we would repeat again. A hidden gem in Fulwood - will come again

Me and my Wife had an amazing meal at the Ginger Bistro on Saturday night. The atmosphere, service and food was amazing. My seafood paella was so good I didn't want it to end. Great value for money as well which is what we all need these days.

Visited last night for the 1st time.Staff were welcoming and attentive. There was no loud music so we could hear ourselves talk and the atmosphere was friendly. We were a party of 6. One of our party was coeliac, with a great choice of food for them and was reassured that their food would be cooked separately. We all had starters, main course and 5 deserts. All food arrived hot and delicious despite the fact that we all had different meals. My husband said it was one of the best steaks he’d ever tasted. On paying, there was no option to add a gratuity but service was so good we added it onto our bill. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of food. This place is a great find and we will definitely be back soon.

Even better than the real thing! Let me explain, we're just back from a trip to France where we had raspberry creme brulee, but Ginger Bistro version is better! We had the Tuna and Caesar salad, both great with fresh ingredients, attentive service and ice cold beer, and chilled wine could have thought it was summer!!

Delicious food and excellent friendly and welcoming service. We booked online and had specific requirements about where would prefer to sit and this was obviously noted as the table we were allocated was perfect.

A lovely out of town bistro serving a good choice of meals. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere too. I thought it was a little pricey, but no complaints on the quality!
