Only called in for a coffee, service slow but reasonably priced.

A fantastic spot for a coffee and cake when you're in Preston. Lovely owners and staff with great service from Angelo and the best scones baked by Jack. 🫶

Fantastic little cafe in the heart of Preston, couldn’t sing the praises of the staff and chef enough, had a Full English and was anything but disappointed, eggs where runny and cooked at the same time, meats were flavourful and the toast was exquisite. Couldn’t help but clear my plate (until I couldn’t eat anymore)

Twice I have ordered a delivery from this place. First time the delivery was all squashed together but I let this go as it could have been the drivers fault. Second time I ordered 2x chilli and cheese on jacket potatoes and hot bbq chicken. Neither 1 of us like bbq so that was a waste and when we complained to deliveroo we only got re imbursed for the bbq and not the chilli and cheese. I would define not recommended getting a delivery off them

Came for brunch it was absolutely delicious. New extended menu. Fantastic food. Nice range of coffees and cakes. Fantastic staff. Lovely atmosphere!

We intended to call for a coffee on what was a wet and cold day. Nice and warm in here ( much of the market can be freezing!! ), so a good start. Ordered 2 decaf Americano which came promptly with a nice young man serving. As it was lunch time we saw the menu which was quite well priced and had some interesting items on it. We both had the Huevos Rancheros ( eggs ). We were pleasantly surprised this looked great, and came piping hot...and it tasted fantastic. One of the best I have had and very good value....Certainly one to re visit when in the city...Well done Cherry pie!

Wow! Really great lunch spot and may have to go back for breakfast! The menu is simple but very tasty - cheese and ham toastie - what is that “special sauce”??, chips and Cherry Chicken wrap. Flawless execution and presentation. The cakes looked amazing too so that is another reason to return. This is a great cafe with inside and outside seating on the edge of the revamped market in Preston - highly recommended

Daughter took us in just before new year and it was very busy and I struggled to get my walking stroller in, then as I was eating my breakfast, people were banging into me. All 4 of us had breakfast which was very nice

Need to add an update, the new owners just pulled my pants down, I just paid £2.50 for the tinest chips ever (see picture), bought a Breakfast barn cake, expected something substantial at £3.95 and got a barmcake with 2 small bits of bacon on it and nothing else, very disappointed and feel like I have been ripped off, all beware of the prices as the are stupid for what you get charged, extra couple of pounds I could have have a full english..... Won't be here again....

Love stopping here for breakfast whenever I'm in the area. Food is amazing, and the portion sizes are generous. Service is always quick.

I love this place. Been twice now and both times were fantastic. Food is exceptionally tasty with really generous portions at a very reasonable price. The special "Chicken Cherry Wraps", in particular! They also have - without question - the nicest Chai drink going. Worth it just to have those, but the smoothies and milkshakes go down a treat as well. The staff have been really great, as well. The long-haired, blonde gentleman has been excellent on both occasions but he's just part of a whole, brilliant team. Try this place out. It's superb.

Wish I’d taken a picture of this absolutely fantastic breakfast- absolutely superb. Quality first class. Taste sublime. Service exemplary. I could go on. This is an absolute gem of a restaurant/cafe. The staff are brilliant. The food is delicious. The prices are honestly too good to be true - I don’t know how the do it. Will definitely be back and will be recommending this place to all my friends. Great job guys.

Called here during lockdown so only the outside area open. Wow. What a find! Ordered a coffee, tea, sandwich and a chicken wrap for my wife and I. It was awesome. Food was fresh and tasty Will visit again.

My Friend & I stopped in for a Breakfast & a cuppa. We were served by a smiling lovely young Irish lady called Rachael, who we warned to immediately. The 2 Big Breakfasts came and they were big, good ingredients, and we also got 2 thick slices of toast and butter. It went down a treat and we walked out fully satisfied with full happy tummies.

My daughter and I shared the cheese and onion toastie. The flavours were amazing and absolutely delicious! Great coffee too. Helpful, friendly staff and a great atmosphere - loved it all. We'll be visiting again.

The best toasty I have even had! Unreal! If you love food this place is fab! Coffee was really hot and tasty too! I always passed this place but defo my new go to after today. Staff really friendly.

We were attracted by the sign that said club sandwich and chips £6.95. We were not disappointed, the club sandwich was nice and the chips were lovely. The wife's mug of tea was very good (and she is particular about her tea). I had to have a mug of decaf coffee as they didn't have Earl Grey tea ( my on grumble). This is a market cafe but well worth visiting.

Awful service ordered two breakfast only got one delivered then got told there’s nothing we can do and just get a refund,and the breakfast they did send I wouldn’t feed my dog

The only small problem with Cherry pie is the don't have gluten free products but a lot is places don't . The food that my family ate looked and they said tastes really good 👍

Proper mugs of tea and it's a good brew aswel, had toasted teacake and they wasn't skinny with the butter either, their other foods looked good too which me and my friend will be trying in the near future 😉 xx

Had breakfast here this week. Food was good apart from the Sausages. Service good and prices reasonable.

Tried this place for the first time today and will definitely be back, staff were friendly and helpful, cafe was clean and felt cosy. As many products as they can are sourced from the surrounding market stalls and local area and this shows in the quality of the food that is served. I had a jacket with cheese and beans which came with a lovely little side salad and coleslaw. The dressing that came on the salad was the chefs own secret recipe and tasted amazing. Nice to have a jacket cooked just right too. Other half had a large breakfast which he thoroughly enjoyed, the sausages were nice and juicy, the grilled tomato was cooked through and you get a good wedge of toast with it. Reasonably priced dam good food .. look forward to trying the toasties next time.

Great coffee but waiting 25 minutes for a Portuguese tart was a joke asked 3 times as the coffee and choc éclair came straight away at one point I thought they was making it from scratch but no a tiny little tart compared to my huge choc éclair the wife wasn't impressed...

For just a latte, it was one of the most beautiful tasting coffees I've had. The food was also great, I had bacon and fried eggs on toast. The toast was thick cut and the eggs cooked perfectly. Runny yolk with a slight crisp on the bottom. Such a lovely little place with reasonable prices and great food + drink.

Really gone down lately waiting.longer to get my food &drink my partner ordered beans on toast beans didn't cover the toast &the toast was burnt the coffee has gone really strong they have cut down on staff the quality has gone down

My husband tried the coffee here first it was lovely! He told me about the amazing huge cakes in the window, so he took me and my daughter for lunch it was delicious! staff were very kind and welcoming and the prices were so good I highly recommend ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I don't normally get that excited about little coffee shops situated on the corner of a city's market. But this one was worth getting excited about. Wonderful food, exceptionally keen prices despite current spiraling costs and simply superb, welcoming staff. In fact, it was as it it had been transported from Berlin or Barcelona and plonked in the centre of Preston. I only had a cheese and onion toastie (served with a fresh - and I mean fresh - green salad and 'slaw) and a cappuccino that should be the envy, taste, heat and price-wise of any of the more expensive coffee shop chains or Italianate bistros in the centre of "nearby" Manchester. It was a classic example of getting it right the first time. As for the toastie. It was only being in the company of two lovely Guide Senior volunteers that prevented me from demonstrating my greed and enjoying a second one! Cheese toasties are so simple to get right, but few restaurants do actually get them right. I appreciate it's a matter of timing, and establishments want to get the food out in the most simple and cost-effective manner possible. And let's face it, a toastie is not exactly rocket science. However, Cherry Pie seem to have transformed the humble cheese and onion toastie into an edible art form! Lovely melted cheese with onions inside and on top of two slices of delicious, what I think was, farmhouse bread. And not just shoved into a George Foreman grill. And although I'm not especially a coffee drinker, the coffee was tasty and more importantly, hot. I was sorely tempted to a cake, but having just been measured for a suit, I thought the better of it. I can only give Cherry Pie 5 stars all the way.

First time eating here and it was fab. We had the "Healthy Breakfast" and it was delicious. The poached eggs were perfect. Reasonably priced. Very friendly and polite. Also service with a smile which is very rare these days! We will definitely will be coming back. Thankyou

Well we are so glad we found this little gem of a place, we just didn’t know where to eat in Preston town centre ! There is a nice variety of food, the place itself is lovely and the staff are so friendly & helpful, not to mention the food was delicious too. We ordered a jacket potato with cheese & beans which came with a side salad too. I had a large latte and my friend had a cup of tea. The potatoes are not microwaved which in some cafes they are they was done to perfection in the oven !! Oh and they sell cakes to die for too which i had a jam & cream scone and my friend had a Manchester tart. We thoroughly enjoyed dining out here and will definitely be returning again very soon. I will also spread the word to family & friends too. 10/10 from me !

Awful tea, weak and too much milk, coffee passable but not brilliant. Bacon overcooked.....not recommended.

Very friendly staff - chatted about the flea market and old books! Made my daughter (13yo) very welcome. Delicious and hearty food, we really enjoyed our brunch.

Went in for breakfast and wasn’t disappointed, food was excellent and so was the service from the staff, polite towards us and accommodating. Great value for money in comparison to other cafés in the area, will return here v.soon.

Had a fire alarm at work so I needed some where to kill the time and buy my colleagues coffee. My team loved this place as did I. The coffee is normally priced and better than coffeebucks. Try it out. Next time, I'm buying cake too.

I love this place. The food is always of the best quality. Delicious breakfast (slight downfall) the sausages are quiet small, put them together and it’s like you have one medium sausage. The toasties from here are Devine . Will be returning when visiting Preston very soon.

Me and daughter had the delightful pleasure of calling in here for a spot of lunch yesterday. The place is small but very nicely decorated. The staff are very friendly and polite, the menu is really good with good prices. I will definitely be coming back this time with the husband as they serve the best toasties in Lancashire 😁

From the menu choices and quality, venue, staff and prices, this place is faultless! A true hidden gem on the edge of Preston Market! Everyone in there was enthusing and it was easy to see why! We will visit again and recommend to all!

The coffees are excellent as well as the Breakfast's. The service is good especially from a young lady, I don't know her name but she hasn't been there long but she weres cherry earrings and always makes an effort to be kind and helpfull. Will recommend and will be coming back..

Absolutely love love love this place! If you haven’t already you need to get yourself down there and sample the food and drinks! I personally recommend the hot chocolate and the sandwiches

All the staff are lovely and glow with a smile. I've visited a few times now, but one member of staff, Lindsay I found very rude, stuck up and the way she speaks and talks about other staff members who aren't there is appalling. And to be quite honest it made me feel incredibly uncomfortable as a customer. It's also not the first time I've been in there as well and experienced this as a result we won't be returning anymore which is a shame as I find other members of staff incredibly lovely, Alice, Natalie and Iona especially. She needs to be gone for the sake of your work force and your customers!!!

This modern cafe really is the ' cherry on the cake ' Great atmosphere eat in/out or takeaway. Fast friendly staff and the cakes, grub and beverages are well worth the visit. Scrumcious food and a great place to chill or socialise X

Every time I've ordered it been brilliant. Put this time I've had a delivery driver who didn't know and put the damaged/ ruined food on my doorstep and tried to run away before I got to the door. Luckily I've got a ring doorbell with motion sensor. When I got to the door he came back and explain the coffee spilt everywhere and I need to call up to get them to resend a new order. When I tried to call the phone is always unavailable. So I've had to submit a refund request. Bin the destroyed food. And order from another place to get food. The food has been great in the past but the delivery driver trying to run away and not able to call the restaurant makes me think twice about ordering from them again. Service is nonexistent. It's worse to know the delivery driver still tried to deliver it and run away knowing in what condition its in. He looked embarrassed when he had to come back as I got to the door quicker than he could run away. You will also find the same review on just eat.

Hi there, i visited the cherry pie coffee shop on 4/1/22 at around 4.00pm. We were sat having our hot drinks and enjoying them. HEATHER was brushing up. I clearly heard HEATHER speak about me and my partner to another customer who she seemed to have known in the cafe. It was in front of my face and i heard her saying if they carry on ill throw them out. We wasnt doing anything. It was rude of her for to say. I wasnt happy at all when i heard this and told my partner. At that point we left. We will not return to this customer service again. Thanks.
