Cherry Pie in Preston

Mmmm lovely breakfast words escape me but certainly the best I have had in Preston for years. The Latte was gorgeous, generous and hot for the price. They have a vast menu and some interesting different options which I will be exploring soon. Above all the staff/ owners are so warm and friendly, just what you need. We'll done.

I walked in and all the staff looked like a cast of night of the living dead. Not a smile between them. The women serving seemed like she had a silver spoon up her but. I ordered one coffee for take away and was left standing there for frankly unreasonable amount of time. I ordered a flavored coffee, there wasn't even a hint of flavour. So no I won't be going in again.

Wonderful breakfast and stop lol warm- only problem is that it was missing the tomato 😞

Outstanding find under the victorian canopy of Preston market. Food is great quality and delicious with a nice selection. Friendly and helpful staff. Will be back!

I ordered a Bacon & Egg barm and requested to change Bacon to Sausage as there isn’t an option for a Sausage & Egg barm. They did as I requested and gave me 4 huge sausages. Felt like Christmas :)

The best breakfast in Preston served by amazing attentive staff. Each item on the plate is of good quality and cooked perfectly. The surroundings are pleasant and there is the option of seating indoor or outdoor. Really excellent and very reasonably priced for a high standard of breakfast.

This is what life is all about. Simple, elegant perfection on a relaxing rainy Sunday.

Great place for breakfast, lunch and afternoon treats. The menu has enough to satisfy the majority. Timely service and wonderfully presented and tasty food. Right in the heart of Preston town centre and if you're lucky a great place to enjoy the summer sun 🔆

Had latte, iced coffee and two bbq chicken & bacon toasties. Perfectly roasted coffee, delicious toasties and the service was great! Just ordering a coffee Renoir the size of a side plate to go!! Yum!

Just popped in for a coffee and a cake. There was a warm welcome and the service for very quick. The coffee was very good but, unfortunately, the cake was past it’s sell by date as the pastry was quite hard and dry. This is the first time that this has happened. As it’s not overly cheap, I did expect better.

1st time going for brunch this morning. Eggs royale and breakfast wrap for me and my son, fantastic food, good coffee and left happy.

I just nipped in for a coffee. The staff are polite and friendly. I'll be going in again to try their food and I'll alter my review once I've tried it. They are very welcoming to me and my guide dog. The young man who served me said to get a seat and my coffee would be brought over. The coffee was good and the food does smell nice. Thank you to all the staff.

We come here regularly for breakfast and lunch. All the food is fantastic, especially the full breakfast, eggs benedict and foccacia. Coffee is always piping hot and served by lovely staff. Cakes are amazing too! This is fast becoming our favourite cafe in Preston and definitely worth a trip.

We strolled through Preston market for the first time thinking we’d find a basic cafe for lunch. This place took us by surprise. Very modern, very clean, superb service, menu and food. Coupled with the charm of the market with its fantastic stalls with a cooked meats counter, cheese counter, butchers and much more, it was a great experience.

Fantastic little cafe in the heart of Preston, couldn’t sing the praises of the staff and chef enough, had a Full English and was anything but disappointed, eggs where runny and cooked at the same time, meats were flavourful and the toast was exquisite. Couldn’t help but clear my plate (until I couldn’t eat anymore)

Twice I have ordered a delivery from this place. First time the delivery was all squashed together but I let this go as it could have been the drivers fault. Second time I ordered 2x chilli and cheese on jacket potatoes and hot bbq chicken. Neither 1 of us like bbq so that was a waste and when we complained to deliveroo we only got re imbursed for the bbq and not the chilli and cheese. I would define not recommended getting a delivery off them

Came for brunch it was absolutely delicious. New extended menu. Fantastic food. Nice range of coffees and cakes. Fantastic staff. Lovely atmosphere!

Gone down hill we got 2 ham salad sandwiches and the bread was stale and hardly any ham on them and with a cost of £11 for 2 sandwiches it’s quite expensive for food that went into the bin

We intended to call for a coffee on what was a wet and cold day. Nice and warm in here ( much of the market can be freezing!! ), so a good start. Ordered 2 decaf Americano which came promptly with a nice young man serving. As it was lunch time we saw the menu which was quite well priced and had some interesting items on it. We both had the Huevos Rancheros ( eggs ). We were pleasantly surprised this looked great, and came piping hot...and it tasted fantastic. One of the best I have had and very good value....Certainly one to re visit when in the city...Well done Cherry pie!

Wow! Really great lunch spot and may have to go back for breakfast! The menu is simple but very tasty - cheese and ham toastie - what is that “special sauce”??, chips and Cherry Chicken wrap. Flawless execution and presentation. The cakes looked amazing too so that is another reason to return. This is a great cafe with inside and outside seating on the edge of the revamped market in Preston - highly recommended

Daughter took us in just before new year and it was very busy and I struggled to get my walking stroller in, then as I was eating my breakfast, people were banging into me. All 4 of us had breakfast which was very nice

On the good side the custard in the cakes was very nice, but the cream was not proper cream and inedible

Not as good as I've had in the past, maybe you've changed your chef or its just because you were busy? I'd still buy again, but if it still wasn't as good the next time I'd try somewhere else, I'm all for giving people more than once chance of an off day, as it happens to the best of us.

Ordered the first time a ham n cheese toastie and jacket potato which came very nicely presented and tasted great, when ordered the second time due to such good experience the first time, however the wrong toastie arrived and certain things were cold, everything else was nice but can’t say eggs Benedict was my personal favourite.

Don’t wast your money, sausages where black on breakfast wrap, scrambled eggs are definitely not scrambled, more like a thin layer of powdered egg absolutely disgusting, the eggs Benedict is supposed to come with hollandaise sauce, clearly running low on the sauce as they came with the smallest slither of sauce Iv ever seen, all the food was cold! My coffee taste like water And to top it off they forgot to add the fries to the order, not a cheap place to order food from either so very disappointing, won’t be ordering again

What an excellent breakfast! I will however say that we are Vegan and left a note on the for the eggs to be taken off and sadly this was missed. We're not fussy though so we took them off no issue and gave them to a very happy dog. Will definitely be ordering again and if the good people at Cherry Pie Coffee & Co read this please could the note be checked next time. :)

Need to add an update, the new owners just pulled my pants down, I just paid £2.50 for the tinest chips ever (see picture), bought a Breakfast barn cake, expected something substantial at £3.95 and got a barmcake with 2 small bits of bacon on it and nothing else, very disappointed and feel like I have been ripped off, all beware of the prices as the are stupid for what you get charged, extra couple of pounds I could have have a full english..... Won't be here again....

Staff amazing and atmosphere food a big let down my score would of been lower the only redemption was the quality sausages and bacon as beans and mushrooms flavourless but staff freindly expected much more quality and was not delivered won’t visit again

Ordered a full english breakfast and wow. Lovely, perfectly cooked eggs, perfect mushrooms and tasty well cooked bacon and sausage to boot. My partner loves the BBQ chicken and cheese toastie, fantastic guys.

The food was lovely. However, it took over 2 hours from placing my order to it arriving

Food was freezing cold when it arrived unfortunately & the cheese toasty was inedible. There was a strange taste to it and some brown blobs dotted on the top, would be nice to be given the option of having whatever it is on the toasty so you can decline it (not even labelled in the description). Breakfast barms are alright.

The toastie i received was nice, but the smashed avacado on toast was terrible. It was advertised with 2 pieces of toast and lots of avacado, what i got was one piece of soggy bread and slither of avocado. I have ordered before and delivery time has been fine, i waited over an hour for my order this time around. All in all, sad as i really enjoy the food you guys do, but i feel i was quite let down.

We received a bag full of food. New boxes don’t seem to close aswell, all food leaked out at sides.

Love stopping here for breakfast whenever I'm in the area. Food is amazing, and the portion sizes are generous. Service is always quick.

I love this place. Been twice now and both times were fantastic. Food is exceptionally tasty with really generous portions at a very reasonable price. The special "Chicken Cherry Wraps", in particular! They also have - without question - the nicest Chai drink going. Worth it just to have those, but the smoothies and milkshakes go down a treat as well. The staff have been really great, as well. The long-haired, blonde gentleman has been excellent on both occasions but he's just part of a whole, brilliant team. Try this place out. It's superb.

The staff are brilliant. The food is delicious. The prices are honestly too good to be true - I don’t know how the do it. Called here during lockdown so only the outside area open. Wow. What a find! Ordered a coffee, tea, sandwich and a chicken wrap for my wife and I. It was awesome. Food was fresh and tasty Will visit again.

My Friend & I stopped in for a Breakfast & a cuppa. We were served by a smiling lovely young Irish lady called Rachael, who we warned to immediately. The 2 Big Breakfasts came and they were big, good ingredients, and we also got 2 thick slices of toast and butter. It went down a treat and we walked out fully satisfied with full happy tummies.

My daughter and I shared the cheese and onion toastie. The flavours were amazing and absolutely delicious! Great coffee too. Helpful, friendly staff and a great atmosphere - loved it all. We'll be visiting again.

The best toasty I have even had! Unreal! If you love food this place is fab! Coffee was really hot and tasty too! I always passed this place but defo my new go to after today. Staff really friendly.

We were attracted by the sign that said club sandwich and chips £6.95. We were not disappointed, the club sandwich was nice and the chips were lovely. The wife's mug of tea was very good (and she is particular about her tea). I had to have a mug of decaf coffee as they didn't have Earl Grey tea ( my on grumble). This is a market cafe but well worth visiting.

Awful service ordered two breakfast only got one delivered then got told there’s nothing we can do and just get a refund,and the breakfast they did send I wouldn’t feed my dog

The only small problem with Cherry pie is the don't have gluten free products but a lot is places don't . The food that my family ate looked and they said tastes really good 👍

Proper mugs of tea and it's a good brew aswel, had toasted teacake and they wasn't skinny with the butter either, their other foods looked good too which me and my friend will be trying in the near future 😉 xx

Tried this place for the first time today and will definitely be back, staff were friendly and helpful, cafe was clean and felt cosy. As many products as they can are sourced from the surrounding market stalls and local area and this shows in the quality of the food that is served. I had a jacket with cheese and beans which came with a lovely little side salad and coleslaw. The dressing that came on the salad was the chefs own secret recipe and tasted amazing. Nice to have a jacket cooked just right too. Other half had a large breakfast which he thoroughly enjoyed, the sausages were nice and juicy, the grilled tomato was cooked through and you get a good wedge of toast with it. Reasonably priced dam good food .. look forward to trying the toasties next time.

Great coffee but waiting 25 minutes for a Portuguese tart was a joke asked 3 times as the coffee and choc éclair came straight away at one point I thought they was making it from scratch but no a tiny little tart compared to my huge choc éclair the wife wasn't impressed...
