The best restaurants in North West

First time visiting a Hickory’s and we were so impressed. The place looked amazing and the location was just stunning. We found all the staff to be very polite and friendly. Service was great. Our order was taken quickly and food and drinks served quickly too. Very efficient all round. The food was absolutely outstanding. Haven’t tasted anything close to it ever. We had the platter, two cocktails and a soft drink and it was £82. Which I don’t think is bad at all. We left totally stuffed. We will definitely return. I’m not sure about some of the other poor reviews and that is their own experience, but when we visited we didn’t find anything dirty or in need of refurbishment or below par. Would highly recommend. We can’t wait to try more on the menu!

Beautiful views across the city, great atmosphere. Loved the playlist. Food was 10/10. Staff really made our experience extra special. The young lad at the ground level that greeted us and Hayden our server was friendly, efficient and a credit to this place. Would definitely recommend.

Went in Sunday with a large group no problem. We had reserved our tables. Staff where great, service very good. Food was very nice .I had the pie 🥧 very nice, all the roast dinners looked good as well Calypso coffee was ok. Thank you

If you want a good place to eat for a good price. Go here! Lovely owners, you can tell they put a lot of effort in to the restaurant and the food! It’s all fresh and absolutely delicious.

Ordered a delivery and it was one of the best kebabs I've ever had. Excellent quality ingredients, super tender and well cooked over charcoal. Came with nice chilli sauce and the chips were great. It only cost 22 pounds which isn't much more than what a greasy chippy charges nowadays but much better quality than you would get.

5 stars simply isn’t enough. Perfect service. Every dish was incredible. So accommodating, friendly and professional. If you’re visiting Penrith like we were and are looking for somewhere to dine, trust me, go here. And make sure you ask to try their olives!
