Turkhan in Wigan

Visited tonight our first time. Excellent customer service couldn't have been more attentive. We had a lovely meal and some cocktails..my favourite was the Choc Orange cake..delicious. Would highly recommend this place and we hope to return again soon xx

An absolutely excellent meal. Service was fantastic. We had starters (whitebait and calamari) we both had mains (lamb shank) absolutely melt in the mouth and our server talked us into A baclava between us. A thoroughly enjoyable night, great food and fantastic service and the price was good too 👍

Came here when visiting Tyldesley for my friends birthday and was impressed. Staff were lovely, Tegan was our waitress and very helpful. I had lamb rolls for starters and my husband had garlic mushrooms. For mains we had lamb shank and chicken shish with wine. All good.

Had a lovely night at Yaprak with friends. Good atmosphere, staff are so friendly and helpful with menu choices. The food is all freshly cooked to order and is delicious. They have offers on in the week, give them a try. Support local business.

We’ve visited twice now and love the food, atmosphere and cocktails. It gets busy but that’s a sign of a good restaurant!

First time at Yaprak and the food, service and atmosphere were absolutely fabulous. Try the chicken shish!

It's always good to support local buisnesses, and we decided to do that by having a meal for my husband's birthday at Yaprak. We had a lovely meal and enjoyed the evening, but what I was impressed with, was a young man ,who was working there for the first time last night. I noticed him because he looked like my grandson, he seemed quite anxious at first, he said it was his first night! I watched him and with the help and guidance of the senior member of staff , manager perhaps, he gained confidence and managed very well ! Well done Kaprak to take the time to train and help these young people out, a job well done, thumbs up from us.

The two of us called in to eat last night. We were really hungry and both had the hummus starter ( served with lightly toasted soft white bread) and the Adana for mains. The Adana came with flatbread, rice, salad and a chilli dip and tzatziki dip. The food was delicious and nicely served. We both have healthy appetites but we felt there was plenty to eat. We also had a glass of wine and a pint of lager, costing around the same as wine bar prices. TBH we didn't notice much change in the menu prices since our last visit ( October 2022) considering the increase in food and energy costs. All in all a very nice evening and lovely food. Will definitely go again.

Service was great, food was mediocre but very very overpriced for the small portions. I have been to this restaurant 2 or 3 times under the old management and enjoyed the experience and value. This is my first visit under the new name and management, I was disappointed and will not return. Everyone in our group was of the same feeling and all agreed the food and drink were very overpriced and not as good as it used to be.

The menu is poor and the food is poor it used to be so much better .The used to be quite a good standard but this has declined I don’t mind paying for good food but this is poor .

Great menu great cooking excellent surroundings and a good wine selection the portions were fabulous the staff were very curious and wanted to know if we were enjoying ourselves and we were we will definitely be back if you haven’t tried this restaurant before in Tyldesley give it a go we wouldn’t hesitate recommending it

Beautiful succulent meats, marinated and cooked perfectly. Vegetarian options available. Friendly staff. Kind enough to allow us a last min booking. You won't be disappointed.

Last night our family party of 8 had an excellent night out at the Turkhan. Everyone expressed more than satisfaction with their meals.
