Really lovely place - very affordable for the quality of food. Drinks are reasonably priced too. Wide variety of food on offer and a changing menu to keep it fresh. It’s becoming a regular for us!

A lovely tea room to walk to for lunch time. Warm welcome, nice menu choice & food was lovely, no scrimping on the fillings. Dog friendly with a treat for our two girls. Gifs shop to look around with reasonable prices. Thank you very much.

Highly recommend this venue on Liverpool docks. Amazing atmosphere. Called in last Friday and there was live music . A brilliant night we'll be back.

Never been a massive fan of a roast dinner carvery but my goodness this place changed that. The food was fantastic could not fault it every mouthful was super tasty. Hats off to the chef and staff who were super friendly and provided a good service. We will definitely be back again and again and again ….

I've had a couple of lunches here now and the food is always very affordable but excellent quality. Prep and service is fast - exactly what's needed on a work lunch break. Friendly staff. The menu is quite varied and inexpensive. I'm looking forward to trying the bacon, cranberry and cheese toastie - sounds yum!

Easy and free parking, lots of planes to watch today. kids play area or refreshments available. Be sure to join the friends of Barton club for all the benefits they provide. The tower viewing balcony is now open. Restaurant is open

Fantastic food and a great pint. Ordered takeaway as we were staying up the road for the week. Friendly staff who couldn't be more accommodating. Cracking little shop on site as well. Will definitely be back for more when we are back up in the Lakes.

Party of 7. Unfortunately we Arrived too early (35 mins to be precise as we had travelled up from Cheshire), only one table came in the same time as us. No other tables occupied. Place was empty, So didn’t see it as a problem Was told we would have to wait and appreciated that we could sit at the table designated for us and have a drink, Whilst they served the other table who came in at the same table as they were first. Totally understandable. An hour and 10 mins later (30 mins after our reservation time) we still were waiting to be allowed to order our food and had not been given any of the starting bread, even though the only table in had had there pre nibbles then starter and were onto the start of their mains. We got frustrated as the place was empty, this simply isn’t Michelin service. Couldn’t even comment on food as was not allowed to order until the right time which never came. Service was terrible. We left and definitely would not go back or recommend. This business will certainly lose money if they can only serve one table at a time. If that’s their policy then I would suggest making it a one table restaurant.

Food is amazing and the service is always great lovely people we go here at at least twice a month and we have never had a bad meal it’s always busy so that says a lot I would highly recommended

My local, and a good one at that - what the lads and ladies have done to make this place so great in the last year or so is nothing short of amazing.
