This is a lovely, family run restaurant serving really tasty dishes. We were a party of six with two high school children and everyone was really happy with what they ordered and the friendliness of the staff 😊

Thai Chill Thai Chill The treasures in the town of Sale on the outskirts of Manchester are so delicious that it is worth a special trip to hunt for them and taste the long-forgotten Thai food. The Thai-style raw shrimps are fresh and sweet, and the durian ice cream with durian meat is a must-try. All of them are delicacies made with care. You'll understand if you experience it yourself

Pretty dine in restaurant with very nice staff. Good quality of Thai food. Highly recommend the soup rich noodles with beef. The soup is sooooo good, very rich tasting. Definitely worth the price. Desserts are really good as well, must try! 100%will go again

We visited this amazing restaurant a few times already. We’ve ordered the Fried Pork Chop Rice, Hainanese Chicken Rice and the Hong Kong Style Curry Fishball. The rice always comes with the chicken soup that tastes super fresh and delicious. My favourite is the Pork Chop Rice with the crispy onions which’s another level. •ᴗ• The fishball is too spicy for me but my mother loves it. The area is clean and tidy, such a nice place to chill with the yummy Thai food.

Beef Pork Belly, Minglu Fish, Mango Sticky Rice for Dessert, delicious and recommended. It is difficult to buy delicious mangoes in the UK, but the mangoes in this dessert are delicious, and the glutinous rice is also delicious. If you like apple cider vinegar, you can try this special drink, which is very appetizing. The nearby parking lot Greenbank Car Park only costs 50p for 3 hours, and it is free after 6 o'clock. Parking is very convenient.

Went for the first time last night, wish we’d tried it sooner. Food was beautiful, all presented really well with great flavours. The phad Thai was one of the best I’ve had in a while. The service is great with lovely staff. Will definitely be eating here again.

I have heard of the good name of the restaurant but was disappointed with a few dishes. We couldn’t finish the red curry noodle as it’s too salty. I think red curry goes better with rice but not so much with noodles. Pad thai is too sweet. The steamed fish is good as well as the mango rice. I will say the dishes definitely won’t worth the price. It’s way too expensive for what it offers.

The beef brisket and tendon are delicious and soft. The taste is very suitable to his taste. He also likes that there are many ingredients in the sauce. I like the coconut chicken soup very much, it is rich and fragrant Hot and sour fish soup rice noodles with fish eggs: the fish eggs are delicious, the fish taste is moderate and chewy😋The fish soup is very sour, add some chili flakes recommended by the boss lady, it’s just right👍🏻 Durian ice cream: surprise! It’s no different from eating real durian. If you like durian, you should try it. Mango sticky rice: The boss lady told me that mangoes are very sweet, so I couldn’t help but order it. The long-lost sweet mango, paired with soft and ripe glutinous rice, delicious😋 The proprietress was very kind. One of the most considerate things was that after we ate durian ice cream, she gave us water to dilute the taste in our mouths before we tasted the mango sticky rice💜 We are also kindly reminded to make a reservation before visiting, or contact us to inquire about the restaurant to avoid a wasted trip. This restaurant is quite nice, very good food and service. For food, I do recommend Hainan chicken and the fishball noodle that we have, but not the mango sticky rice because the mango isn’t as sweet as we expected, but I guess this is a common practice in the UK. It’s really difficult to source sweat mangos here, so can’t really blame them… For service, I’ve ordered a hot salty lime drink and they offer refilling water, that’s is unexpected :)

Very disappointed. Third visit. Menu seemed reduced. Ordered a chicken dish which was cold only to be told it is served cold but it didn't specify on menu. Had short rib with tendon signature curry, almost all was fatty gelatinous tendon. When complained waitress laughed but did bring dish with 3 pieces of short rib which were slightly better. Overall experience very poor and would not recommend.

Before returning to Glasgow, I ordered a takeaway and brought home some food, including Thai chicken rice and braised duck. After four hours, I returned home and heated it in the microwave. It was still very delicious. There was also mango sticky rice for dessert, which was first-rate! Zhong You couldn’t help but eat the raw shrimps on site! wait for next time

Delicious Thai food is hard to find in the UK, but this is one of them. The Hong Kong owner Jia Zhu㕑 shows his passion for cooking. It was a very satisfying meal. I recommend the grilled steak and fried fish cakes.

I took my friend to eat today, and he admired the Hainanese chicken rice very much. He said that most restaurants have a bad taste, but this one has a coconut flavor that really suits him. Another surprise was the spicy and sour fish soup rice noodles. I stole two of my friends’ soup to drink, wow! It looks plain and clear, but the taste is sour and spicy, followed by a strong fish flavor. I think it comes from the soup base with a lot of fish on it. The other dishes are also called Left Curry Beef Tendon, Curry Soft Shell Crab, 90s Fried Chicken, and the super sweet mango sticky rice that is impossible not to eat. They are all equally outstanding. When my friend paid the bill, he made a reservation directly for tomorrow night, and he made sure to bring a boy to eat with him. In this restaurant, you can feel the chef's care in every dish. Every product, including the desserts and ready-to-mix drinks prepared by the proprietress, you can eat/drink and you can feel that the taste is not single but well-organized and layered. Well, well, well. Anyone local to this restaurant are in for a treat if they don't already know it exists. A fantastic Thai meal experience. Classic Thai dishes that you would expect to see in other restaurants but also more 'local' Thai dishes which are frankly fantastic. Stop reading the review and go and treat yourself to an incredible meal. Highly recomended

The food is delicious and the lunch set is not expensive, less than £20 for each, which include a side, main & drink, the size portion is good. I ordered the chicken rice which is boneless and great taste. The Thai dessert - mango sticky rice and the ice lemon tea are recommended.

Dining out this afternoon, my husband and I were delighted to discover this charming family-owned Thai restaurant. The owners, a lovely couple, were incredibly friendly. The food was not only delicious but also prepared with care and attention to detail. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the delicate flavor of the signature curry beef, and I would highly recommend trying the lime and lemon juice with a hint of Thai spice.

I do love all foods I’ve ordered. It was quite traditional Hong Kong and Thai style food restaurant. Recommend to try the durian ice cream as I can even found some durian inside.

Impressive family run Thai restaurant, probably one of the best Thai cuisine in the country! It was truly a mouthwatering experience. Top notch was the grilled Rib eye steak salad, the very tender steak just literally melts in your mouth and tastes incredible. The beef short ribs and tendon curry was awesome, great paired with a pint of draft Thai beer, the curry was very fragrant and highly aromatic. Tom Yum soup and Thai steamed fish were delicious as well. The dessert was the icing on the cake, we ordered Durian ice cream and sticky rice mango pudding, both were very nice. The interior is modern although you get a bit echo and a bit too bright. The service was great too, attentive staff who were very approachable and friendly. I would be happy to go back any time.

The chef's skill in achieving the perfect crispy texture outside and juicy tenderness inside was evident. A unique touch was when the chef personally clarified that the bits atop the chicken weren't feathers but fragrant lemongrass. Unlike elsewhere, this attention to detail stood out. The subsequent visits were too delicious to pause for photos; the food spoke for itself. The Hainanese chicken rice was exceptionally tender, while the fish ball seafood noodles carried an authentic fish essence. The coconut chicken soup's balance of flavours was a pleasant surprise, offering a light yet distinct profile. Thirst-quenching Thai-style iced lemon tea replaced my initial query about the absence of Thai milk tea. Each dish reflects their commitment to excellence, making every visit worthwhile.

The food is of good quality, the price is fair, and the service attitude is 👍🏻. The only thing is that the Thai Hainanese chicken rice is a little oily (personal opinion). We will come back again.

The restaurant is operated by Hong Kong people, yet they do very good Thai food. The coconut chicken soup, soft crab with curry and mango sticky rice are must-try! Beware that some dishes needed to pre-order two days before, or you may not get what ypu want to eat.

This is not Thai food. This is a Hong Konger's vision of Thai food. Some of the menu is clearly Hong Kong style Cantonese cuisine. The operators are all Cantonese speakers. I doubt they have lived in Thailand before. The red curry with egg was not Thai. They attempted to make a curry paste, but it felt as if they used Jamie Oliver's tasteless recipe rather than one from a real Thai chef. I don't think they have the knowledge or experience of balancing the flavours of lemongrass, lime leaves, turmeric, galangal, fermented prawn paste, and other heady aromatic ingredients. Hence, they didn't use them! To top it off, it was about 30% more expensive than the genuine Thai restaurants operated by Thai people and trained Thai chefs. In conclusion, this place is good for some Hong Kongers and others where the food has been adjusted to their tastes. Southeast Asians and others who have some experience of authentic Thai food, please avoid.

It takes about 20 to 25 minutes to walk slowly from the sale metro. The weather is 29 degrees and it’s really hot. Knowing the quality of the food made me feel that the journey was worth it. The two of us ordered red curry soft shell crab, salt and pepper pork chop rice, Hainanese chicken rice, Thai raw shrimp, snacks of raw fried chicken, mango sticky rice, and durian ice cream. We drank 3 drinks in total. The raw fried chicken is also the most unforgettable, the soft shell crab curry and mango sticky rice are the most unforgettable. The crab meat in the curry is so delicious, the sticky rice is so soft and the glutinous mango is a variety we can’t buy in the supermarket. It’s so sweet! The pork chop looks dry on the outside, but you know there is nothing wrong with the food inside, it is so chewy. If I had known better, I would have asked him if he could sell two more mangoes than me!

Hainanese chicken rice is delicious! The second time you come, you have to encore. A pair of coconut oil rice and Hainanese chicken~ This time I tried the durian ice cream. It was very filling. There were so many golden pillows of durian meat in the ice cream. I kept savoring it after eating it. It was just right. Every time I come to Manchester City, I will definitely help you.

They didn't inform me that the pre-ordered steamed fish was out of stock, but they only told them it wasn't available when they sat down to order. When paying, I had no idea why I had to pay with cash, which is usually the case in Chinese restaurants. I hope there will be Luyu next time I come there

First visit tonight with my son. It is so beautiful with a really lovely interior. I love the jungle in the corner. The staff are smiley and so polite and very helpful. The food is really delicious, prawn toast is the best ever ever and I had lamb chops which were succulent and my son said his steak was most delicious he had ever in his life and really meant it. A real Thai charm and very reasonable priced. Definitely recommend a visit and I will be back again and again. Thank you to the talented chef.

Fabulous food, especially the “coconut flavour” rice served with Thai chicken (see attached photo), can’t wait to try fish dishes next time!

Felt a bit let down given all of the good review and the place being local to me. Food was nice, although not everything on the menu was as available which was a bit annoying. We waited nearly 2 hours before we got all of our food in which came every now and again.
