Beautiful location to sit and sip a cocktail or two (I recommend you try the banoffee old fashioned) or a traditional pint if that’s more of what you fancy. The place has a nice chilled ambience and the homemade pies are great! Also the pub quiz on a Monday night is a fun way to start the week and worth a go. Overall a great experience, would definitely go again.

Highly recommend this pub, atmosphere is lovely! Very chilled out and old school vibe to the place. The staff are amazing and very friendly, will go out of their way to make every customer feel special and even had some personalised cocktails made! One of my favourites is the dockside colada cocktail, it tastes unreal! Perfect place for all occasions and they even do a quiz on a Monday night which is so so funny to attend! 5 *’s

Nice place to come for a drink with a good range of drinks. TV's dotted around the pubs to watch sports on. Quick service with a smile and a great view of the Albert Dock outside.

A great pub with a great atmosphere, the house pale ale was the best I’ve ever had and the cocktails were amazing! I thought the sandwiches at half time during the England game was a great idea! Thoroughly enjoyed our evening there after having an horrendous train journey getting to Liverpool, well done guys you were amazing!!

Popped in twice yesterday for drinks we were on a weekend visit to Liverpool really enjoyed it walked past and thought we would pop in would definitely recommend a visit here.

Love this place. Staff are so lovely & the place has a friendly & cosey vibe. Listen to music, watch telly & at the same time have a drink, a natter & occasionally some food.

Made a cocktail for us that wasn’t on the menu and it tasted great! So accommodating and friendly! Will definitely be visiting again 😊

Called in on a while on a day trip to Liverpool, was very quiet when we got there but a few arrived after us, had a pint of Cider and a pint of Lager, friendly staff, very clean bar area and seating area, toilets were lovely and clean too. Great location to enjoy a pint, couldn’t get a seat outside as they were all full but sat in the snug overlooking Albert Dock. Lovely place and will be back next time we are in this lovely city.

We didn't eat here, we just had drinks. The cocktails are lovely. It's a popular place, so at times it took a while to get served. I sometimes wonder whether the Covid-style 'order at your table' solution is the answer, as then you could have one person making drinks and one person serving, rather than two people trying to do both while a queue of customers have to stand and wait. It's only because it's a great location and a great vibe that they have this problem, of course!

We've been coming here since the day it opened. It's one of our fave places to visit

Went in for food and was told they don't do food. Unsure why there are so many photos of food on Google then! No explanation given, just a blunt response and a blank look.

Visited for a friends 40th birthday party. For a Friday night, it wasn’t busy, not counting our group, although the service was good, the guys behind the bar were friendly and attentive. They had a lady playing the guitar and singing which was really good. A great spot and worth a visit!

We popped in for one drink before having dinner at Maray. The sloe gin cocktail 🍹 was a winner 🥇 and their own pale ale was great too - there was a live singer and the atmosphere was great on a Saturday.

Spent a lovely afternoon sipping caramel iced lattes here last week ! A relaxed vibe , dog friendly, staff welcoming and couldnt do enough to help . Place was busy due to the conference and i didn’t expect such attentive service . Going to return to sample the cocktail menu ! Outdoor area an added bonus

Excellent staff. Friendly and helpful. One of our favourite pubs on the dock. We were made to feel welcome.

Lady’s and Gents, We were here the first time and it won’t be the last time. We were 5 German Lads having a few beers. We never saw such a clean bar anywhere in Liverpool even the toilets. The Prise is high but for that clean location we will give 10 stars. Keep it that way. And make a beer a clock offer :) thx see you next year.

4 of us visited yesterday at around 5pm. we were asked to provide ID to purchase alcohol. Id was provided, all ID’s were legal and honest however we were all refused service because the bartender “had never seen a Welsh ID”. I find this to be completely unacceptable and borderline discriminatory against our nationality. Why should we be refused because the bar staff are untrained and apparently oblivious to the different nations in the UNITED KINGDOM. Training shouldn’t need to be provided however the staff must be educated on the fact there are numerous types of acceptable and legal identification. We will not be returning thanks to the rude attitude from the staff.

One of the best looking full english breakfasts i ever had. It also tasted amazing, the beans were not just from the can, the egg was on point and the black pudding delicious. As a plus you have a friendly service and a great sight.

Can't recommend this place. Ordered avocado, poached eggs, roasted tomatoes on sourdough. Took ages to arrive then had to send it back as the eggs were stone cold. It returned with hot eggs but the tomatoes were cold and the sourdough rock hard. Waiter completely disinterested, in fact was annoyed that we complained. No offer of replacement or even part refund for the food we were unable to eat. Dreadful service.

We visited during the Eurovision for breakfast one morning so we expected it to busy, but we waited over an hour and a half for food. We noticed several people asked for a refund as the wait was just too long. It really didn't look that busy so we persevered. The staff were apologetic and thanked us for our patience. However, when the food did come out it was rather mediocre to say the least. The most delicious part were the pastries we bought to keep us going until the breakfasts arrived. Again the staff were lovely but it just wasn't worth the £50 for 1 breakfast and 2 side plates of items on toast. Little disappointed to say the least. I probably wouldn't go back again for food but the staff were a credit to the place, I just wish I'd said something about how bad the food actually was. As we were leaving we heard staff saying to other customers coming in that there would be an hour's wait for food. If we'd been told that from the beginning I probably wouldn't have waited.

I was at the Albert Dock today enjoying the Eurovision activities. We went into the Gun O’Clock bar and was greeted by a nice man at the door. He asked us had we booked tickets to go into the bar to watch the Eurovision, we said No. On that basis he said for us to sit in specific seats which did not require a table being booked. We ordered our drinks and sat at the table. About 5 minutes later as the bar was starting to get busy a very rude bar man came over and said had we booked a table. We told him no and that we were pointed to this table which did not need to be booked. He then said in a very rude manner to us and another couple on the next table that we had 5 minutes to drink up and then we had to get out. Unfortunately although they have the Eurovision business at the moment they should not speak to their regular customers in this manner: We will never attend the bar again due to the rude nature of the staff member. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!

Enjoyed watching the 6 nations over a beer in this relaxed dockside pub. Feels more authentic than other bars in the Albert Dock area. The home branded IPA by Carnival Brewing was really good.

We visited The one o'clock gun Albert dock on a sunny 🌞 Sunday afternoon whilst out enjoying the Liverpool waterfront. We only stayed for one quick cocktail 🍸. Upon entering, the bar was quiet, although the surroundings was nice. The barman was friendly and took our orders promptly, and drinks 🍸 was served in good order. The cocktails we chose were really lovely and set us up to further explore the wonderful Albert dock. They weren't serving any food while we were there as we would have liked to dine also but nevertheless we enjoyed our drinks. I might pop in again next time in at the Albert Dock.

We popped in for a spot of lunch and a sneaky afternoon alcoholic beverage. Both were wonderful & the service was excellent! My mum accidentally left her glasses there and when we rang back on to check if they had been left we were advised they had!! Nothing was too much trouble for the gentleman who was looking after us. Such a wonderful place to visit and would highly recommend.

Visited The One O'Clock Gun as a group of 14 for Birthday food and drinks last night. Lovely area set aside for us to celebrate.overlooking the Albert Dock. Guys behind the bar were so helpful and accomodating with fast efficient service. Cocktails and food were delicious. Lovely singer /guitarist aswell, just added to the atmosphere Thankyou for looking after us so well. We will be back

Fantastic bar - a real hidden gem in the Albert dock. Drinks were fab from the wine to cocktails, and the live music was amazing. New favourite bar in Liverpool!

Came in for one beer, stayed for 10 because Barney the musician was so good, took requests, and got the whole crowd going with loads of requests. What a Sunday!!!! Will be back for Barney

Visited here a few days ago luckily we came at a good time and we were practically the only ones in there. My boyfriend had the pie which he said was lovely and I had the toastie. Sadly I wasn't a massive fan of the toastie not sure what it had in it but wouldn't have it again. Otherwise staff very friendly and welcoming!

Not the biggest fan of chain pubs but this one is a decent one and its location on the waterfront gives it some oomph.

Staff are friendly and patient. Good selection of drinks and quite a nice atmosphere inside.

We actually only came in for a cup of tea but had a great time. We got a cool teapot each and there was amazing live music playing which was really chill. The staff were super friendly too. Would come back when in Liverpool next

Nice place for a snack and drink. Beavertown Neck Oil on draught, what’s not to like? Named after the gun that used to fire at one o’clock for the shipworkers and dockers to remind them of the time. Stopped firing in the late 60’s.

Lovely location on the Dock. Food was lovely only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that our food wasn't served together. 1 meal came and was finished before the other 3 meals came. I appreciate it was very busy but too big a gap . Staff were lovely.

Amstel larger and the steak pie with mash and mushy peas, nice. Around £20 but worth it. Relaxed atmosphere and welcoming staff. Maybe a bit of mint sauce in the mushy peas to combat the pepper in the steak pie, give it an unusual taste.
