The best restaurants in North West

Overpriced. Underwhelming. Not welcoming to their surroundings. Abusive to members of the local wombles group. Scream in people's faces for doing good by tidying up the Lark Lane area. The council have granted the local wombles group permission to tidy up the local area of overgrown bushes etc at the derelict garages land opposite this venue. The owner thinks she owns the local area.

Barrows catered an event for us at Urmston Conservative Club recently. The food was excellent, very fresh, tasty and good value, the quiche was very good, the best I’ve ever had. I would defiantly recommend them if you need catering l ally.

I’ve literally just bought food off you 30 seconds back… and had to throw it out of my hands because it scolded ‘me .. you don’t put the trays the correct way up … the tray should have the fat side to the bottom… my hands are killing because as soon as I opened it… it poured everywhere … it’s good food and you are nice people but turn the trays the other way ffs …. What a waste of £5

Ordered a takeaway from here whilst away on holiday. This restaurant is a 20 minute drive from our caravan site but our go to curry house when away. Well worth the trip. Lamb bhuna is amazing as are the peshwari naans!

Hotpot in general is good food for cold and wet weather. But this hotpot itself I think is just okay. The vegetable soup is rich and light. The tomyum doesn’t really taste so tomyum. The price is reasonable for a hotpot.

An excellent evening with great food, cider & wine! The Staff are attentive but not overly so. The slight hiccup with one dish was sorted out quickly & without fuss, 10/10 for super customer service! Another visit with excellent food and live music! Check out the craft ales and ciders on tap.

Spent 35 quid, my arms hurt by the time I'd walked home. You get loads and it's lovely!

Great breakfast, service and value for money. I'll definitely be coming here again the next time I visit Anfield.

Didn't have food. Just popped in for a couple of drinks before a party. Was a nice, friendly atmosphere, and I'm told the beer garden is beautiful, but I'm yet to see it as it was raining and cold when we went!
