The Anfield Cafe in Liverpool

Vile....dirty tables, miserable staff...ordered jacket potatoes, hard, no butter, chicken mayo was that frozen strip stuff heated up, few pieces dumped on top with a squirt of mayo...tuna filling was slop...no wonder they want payment first because I'd never have paid for what was served up...£17, only decent thing was the can of coke...

4 of us went in for breakfast and it was very busy we sat down and ordered there was a queue forming for takeaway and overhead the cook(didn’t get her name) say it’s gonna be about 25minute wait for food as they were busy, so we decided to cancel our order as we had a stadium tour booked and wouldn’t make it and said we would come back after and eat, the cook said that she would stay open for us and even offered us free drinks to take with us (we declined), and true to her words she stayed open and the brekkie was well worth the wait. Exceptional service above and beyond thank you. We will be back. You will not be disappointed when you come here. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Greasy spoon right by Anfield stadium. Lovely staff and a great spot if you're going to the match. Will come again

Called today for breakfast before stadium tour unfortunately due to everyone coming in at same time we had to cancel our order as we did not have time, however we said we would come back after tour, and so glad we did as the breakfast was brilliant and so was the service. Popped in whilst driving through Liverpool so my 1 year old could have a rest and some lunch, staff were very polite and friendly more than happy to help, all our food was lovely. The place was spotless including the toilets, quiet friendly atmosphere.

Quiet cafe down the side of LFC stadium, serving full fry up breakfasts for under £10 with a mug of tea or coffee including the big Gut Buster with three of everything. High quality and service.

Can't think of a better more delicious way to start the day. Staff super friendly and very clean. Food very reasonably priced and great value for money. Highly recommend coming here to anyone anytime. My 9 year old is still making yummy noises and he finished 5 mins ago lol

Was heading to another cafe for breakfast but was advised to go here by a friendly local and it did not disappoint! Made to feel welcome as soon as we went in, I ordered the belly buster breakfast and it was exceptional. I'm not 1 for English fry ups as I much prefer a Scottish fry up but I would definitely buy 1 from here if I ever was back down. Well done 👍

Stopped by for breakfast on 8th June after reading reviews on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food & prices were so good! First time in Liverpool and this was the best food we had in 4 days (we were eating in the big named fast food places most of the time). The moral of that story is eat local and get great food. Thank you Anfield Cafe. Hope to visit Liverpool again one day and will definitely return.

Meh, today I found the service to be exceptionally rude. Plate was practically thrown at me and had to get up to get some cutlery. Considering the price of 6.80 for a basic breakfast I can only give 2 stars as the service was sub standard compered to other local establishments. Shame really as I'm a local resident.

Basic cafe, felt chilly and then got moved to back of cafe as they was having regular customers in .

We came here as we were doing the anfield stadium tour. My husband ordered a full English breakfast and I had chicken, bacon and mayo baguette toasted and had fries with it. Both lovely and very filling and reasonably priced. Would definitely eat there again and recommend people give it a try

Slightly different menu on a match day but still ok.

It's a very small place but gives a 5 star service. The staff appear busy but welcoming to everyone. The food is fresh. The portions are great for a hungry person and I can recommend this place. I will be going back for breakfast soon

The Anfield Cafe is by far the best Cafe in The Anfield Area the food is fantastic the service is first class it’s spotless and the Owner Helen is the perfect Host I would recommend this cafe to anyone traveling to see Liverpool Or Everton FC you will not be disappointed or any one local who fancies a lovely breakfast out for a change.

Stayed over night nearby in the Flat Iron Inn and in the morning found this superb cafe just 100 yards down the street! Staff were warm and friendly and the food was spot on!! If you're an LFC supporter, got to have a bite to eat in this place...perfect!! 👍🏼

Wow once again this little gem was amazing, popped in for an all day breakfast with my partner, the lovely lady behind the counter remembered us from nearly a year ago. They are so warm and welcoming. The food is gorgeous, price’s are great and the cafe is really clean and tidy

We decided to try before our tour around Anfield I must say that it blew us away the lady that served us very very friendly the food was cooked to order and very delicious if we decide to come back we will definitely be coming back here again if you are in the local area pop in and try it

Great value breakfasts close to the footy

Been there in november 2017, watching CL match between Liverpool and Maribor. We were sleeping in rooms just above this place, and this was really a perfect option for us, for breakfasts and also for early dinners, just before going out to discover Liverpool pubs. ;) Tipical English food, beans, bacon and so.. Couldn´t be more authentical. ;)

This is a must if you want to have breakfast its like being at home.Lovely food and service. Although small and not lots of seating its worth starting your day here, especially if you going to watch a match at Anfield stadium.

Moved to Anfield recently and thought I'd check out the cafe right outside so went in today and.... I was definitely not disappointed, great quality food, cooked to a great standard, freindly welcoming staff and really reasonable prices, I would definitely go again, my recommendation...try the belly buster, my reaction when I saw it " now that's a breakfast" the other reviewers werent wrong, it was lush so would definitely recommend Anfield cafe all day long

En realidad, queríamos ir a lanzadores Porgy Café, próximo a Anfield Stadium, pero que era cerrado por el disparo de un documental (? En el día de juego), y el domingo super completo cerrado. Así nos eneded en el Anfield Café gracias a la recomendación de un local. Y el café de Anfield no nos decepcionó. Desayuno estupendo que aguantamos todo el día por un precio fantástico y, probablemente, la mejor tostada con toneladas de mantequilla slathered - ¡increíble!

While staying breakfast was lovely the 2 girls working there were very friendly. I will definitely go back there again.

This is a really nice and cosy place. Food was very good as was the coffee as well as the English pastries !
