Dropped in on Sunday for some take out drinks and the customer service was great. The owner was polite, chatty and cheerful. The drinks were lovely and the cake we bought was delicious.

I came in for the first time today. The man who greeted me was lovely. He asked what type of coffee I liked and made it personalised to my taste. It was the nicest coffee I have ever had in Liverpool - all the better that it is from an independent. I also got a Nutella donut which was delicious. The price for the coffee and donut was 4.50. I was so surprised about this - considering you pay that much for one coffee in Starbucks or Costa. I will definitely be coming back time and time again and recommending The Red Berry to family and friends.

This is an excellent cafe. Much of its trade seems to be take out for people working and living nearby in a cook creative area, but there's a really nice upstairs seating area for those who want to linger. The chap who runs it is friendly, sociable, and immensely devoted to making truly first rate coffee. I am fussy but ignorant about coffee, but he discusses it in terms that make it clear what you can expect, and the results are stunning. Best coffee in Liverpool on my experience so far. Food is reasonably priced and nice, in my limited experience.

I had to take my food back. Despite the owners view, the picture attached is what I call pink chicken. He argued its grizzle. I diasgree. In any event I dont want pink chicken or grizzle or a confrontation in his shop after I returned for a refund/warn him of the error. I was given no offer of a refund just a public display in the shop with him ripping the rest of the chicken apart. Either way I hadnt touched it (thankfully in my opinion) I do think the owner should offer a refund if the customer is unhappy. In the end I said keep the (no offer of a) refund I will leave you a review and here we are. Make your own mind up. Is it pink, is it grizzle, would you eat it? For me its pink chicken and he should of handled what was essentially a simple situation better. Judging by how he was at the time, I expect some confrontation on here but please just sit back and take advice. I maybe wrong, it maybe perfectly edible, but I wasn't prepared to eat it. If I told you and showed you why I felt this way, you should of offered a refund or an alternative meal.

Visited Liverpool and by chance found this little gem of a coffee shop. The guy in the shop really knows his stuff. I had the best mocha and cappuccino using top quality beans and very reasonably priced.Highly recommend.

Came across Mark's place last year when we visited Liverpool. Coffee was great every time so we through we'd make a return visit on our way through Liverpool this year. Not only did he remember us from last year but remembered our orders too! Keep up the good work Mark. Excellent food to around lunchtimes.

Super friendly and inviting place. Great coffee, tea, and selection of pastries for breakfast. Nice loft to relax in upstairs. Patient and helpful with our son’s nut allergy. So glad we happened upon this place when looking for breakfast.

Lots of great cafes in the Baltic Triangle area of Liverpool, but this is one of the best - excellent coffee and great service. Well worth a visit.

First visit, fancied something different so we called in, I had a Rwandan blend cappuccino with hints of butter and honey. It was ok but not wow. The other one we had was a Rwandan blend latte with the same hints, very nice. Downstairs it’s quite small but upstairs was big with lots of seating. The barista was very nice, friendly and helpful.

Mark is a great barista. If you go in more than once he seems to have an uncanny knack of remembering what you drink and how you prefer it!

I love this place. They do daily specials, veggie and meat. The coffee is probably one of the best I’ve had in Liverpool. I think the cakes are local, they have fresh ones daily. Mainly vegan. Again probably the best vegan cake I’ve had and I’m not a vegan! I work across the road so I visit this place weekly. Not a bad thing to say about them :)

Went out in search of good coffee on our first day in Liverpool. We struck gold we we came across this place. Great coffee and friendly service. I think we went there every da, and by day 2 Mark remembered all of our orders! Top work

The coffee from here is wonderful! Was super happy that they had Oat milk as an alternative milk and that they also had Vegan cakes! I also had the Veggie Scouse that they had on that day for my lunch and it was super tasty. Really nice having somewhere that caters so well for vegetarian/vegans. The service was excellent, and the place as a whole has a very friendly relaxed atmosphere. :)

Such lovely staff and fantastic decor. The coffee and tea were delish and the music was ideal for an early afternoon read. Hard place to come by in Liverpool so will definitely be making a note of this one.

Trev sent me here after hearing me despair that I had yet to have a really good cup of coffee in the UK. I ended up ordering a capuccino and not only was it really good but the latte art was competition quality. It's a cozy spot in the Baltic Triangle, cool little tables upstairs, decent bagel sandwiches. Super friendly staff and great coffee; what's not to love?

A wonderful venue in the Baltic Triangle and I had great things about the place so decided to visit.
