Great pub especially if you want to play pool.

I ordered two pizzas from here. Both were very tasty. The only thing I would say is the base needs to be cooked a bit more. We ordered the pepperoni & spicy hot one.. wait was about an hour, for pick up.

We've been invited to a few private birthday party celebrations here. Good size room and area for buffet. Friendly staff. If we were to need to celebrate an occasion, I would hire the function room here.

The Lockdown Pub has a relaxed vibe, making it a nice spot if you're into simple yet tasty food like pizza and fries. Despite not being a regular and having visited only a few times, I always feel very welcome by both locals and staff. As Ive said the staff are very friendly, which adds to the overall laid-back atmosphere. It's very reasonably priced too, so it's a good choice for a casual outing.

I took my 15 yr old son to The Lockdown for pizza. The food was incredible. Great atmosphere, even better food. ‘Turn Up The Base are even better than Domino’s’ says my son. High praise indeed!

Attended for a small 21st birthday party. The food was very nice. Mostly limited to pizza and / or burgers. The pizza I was served was delicious. Service was excellent and staff very friendly.

A big thankyou to Dave and his brilliant staff at the Lockdown for the great night had by myself and 17 colleagues. The food was lovely and served on time with no waiting around. The staff were so pleasant and could not do enough for us and they all had smiles on their faces which you don’t see that often in this type of establishment so they obviously enjoy the work. Again a big thank you , the night went perfect with top service and top food 👏

I had a fantastic roast dinner at this pub on Sunday 06/11/22. Very friendly and welcoming with live football and very dog friendly too. Definitely recommend this place.

Held our sons 18th birthday here. Perfect venue. Lovely big room, great dance floor. Private entrance for functions. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Our son had the best time and wants another party here. Massive thanks to Dave and all the team!

Nicely decorated pub. If you have been here a long time ago, it's worth revisiting. A lot nicer and cleaner than it used to be. The staff are friendly and efficient too.

This Pub is not on the Main thoroughfare, but it is definitely worth going to. The owners and staff are friendly and accommodating. It has a lot to offer. There is all the sport on TV you could ask for. Live Music of a weekend. And amazing Food. The Sunday Dinner is the BEST around. They cater for everyone. I have been to a Birthday Party recently in their function room. Again, the set-up was fantastic. If you are in the area....I would advise you give it a try

Have been to several functions here over the last year or so and each time I can see improvements are being made. Ive eaten here on 4 or 5 occasions and it's always been absolutely delicious and always piping hot. The portions are generous, be warned! The staff are friendly and I'd recommend anyone to try it.

Had our wedding reception here and it was amazing.

Booked a table for two and ordered our food at 1pm for 5pm turned up at 4.45 and reconfirmed our order! Still sat waiting at 6.10 gave up and left...STARVING after we were told at 5.20 it would be a 20 minute wait ..why bother taking our order at 1pm??? Sadly will not be returning 😞

Fantastic food and brilliant atmosphere!

Went to Lockdown Pub and Kitchen for food, we had the steak and ale pie and chips which is the best I've ever had, loads of meat and extra gravy and their signature roasted carrots on the side, definitely recommend 👌 Kids meal - chicken nuggets freshly made with fries (better than maccies apparently) also free ice cream with a choice of flavours with every kids meal 😁

Great Sports bar and live Music venue, also function room for hire, lovely staff and a friendly atmosphere.

Pleased to see that they now stock a variety of cider, with Old Mout on tap and Angry Orchard in the fridge - a pleasant change from the vast majority of pubs that only do Strongbow. The food is very good. Loved the Salt and Pepper chicken and had some Fajitas, which were nice but would've been better with a bit of cheese. They had some DJ/Karaoke thing on if that's your thing. I prefer quiet nights but the Old Mout convinced me to stay!

Decided to drop in and try it as it is off the beaten track. Made to feel very welcome, friendly locals, nice Pint too! Tried the Sunday Lunch ~ Delicious, large portions, lashings of gravy and very reasonably priced. We will be coming back!

We meet here on the third Thursday of each month. Nothing is too much trouble for the friendly staff. Some of our members have had meals there before our meeting. They have all enjoyed their food. The atmosphere here is so friendly and lively. It's a Tonic to visit.

Sunday roast is very good well worth a try.

Recently been taken over by a new management and it's fantastic, they've made a few changes to the look of the place and it looks good. I haven't eaten here yet but I've heard good things. The staff were really nice and one of them went out of her way to get my daughter some milk which was lovely of her. Definitely going to be back. 👍🏼👍🏼

was a lovely evening we had food and the food was gorgeous it was my nephews 18th we had the room upstairs the staff are lovely and cant do enough to help , it was so refreshing to go to a pub in runcorn that had a good atmosphere and lovely staff , I had a red Thai curry which was beautiful, the place had a live band downstairs , the place was lively which you dont get too much in runcorn, ill definitely be going back down .

Travelled up from North of London to see the family and we pre-booked a Sunday roast. Got a text message confirming our booking from Paul which was great touch. The atmosphere in the pub was spot on, and a partisan Liverpool crowd but not too rowdy. The service was brilliant and the lamb roast was superb and you get a boat of gravy between two, perfection! Thank you and keep up the stella, we'll be back!

Very much enjoyed our Sunday Roast! Portion sizes for adult and child wete generous, the gravy was lovely and decent slices of meat. We had the chocolate brownie for desert which was very very nice. Great Service and overall I was impressed.

Had a very disappointing Sunday lunch there last week. The beef was very chewy and the food wasn’t hot. My friend had the chicken and it looked as though it had been boiled. She couldn’t eat it. Grossly overpriced at £11 considering the surroundings, plus the table was sticky and our hands stuck to it. Yuk!

Visited the Lockdown on many occasion. Food was great to start with and plenty of selection on the menu. But in the past couple of months the food has gone majorly downhill. The menu seems to of been condensed down. Loosing items such as the club sandwich and the sliders which i have both ordered on previous occasions and were great. On my last visit with friends i ordered the steak pie and cajun pasta. The pie was clearly shop bought, said it came with season veg on the menu however i received a dollop of mushy peas! The cajun pasta was served on a large plate and had alot of greasy water floating on the plate. This is such a shame as it started out well but seems to be on the decline in the kitchen!!!!

We rang up on the off chance they could fit us in … they did … well what can I say… Emma and David … our lunch was amazing forgot to take a photo …. But you will not be disappointed…. The food and presentation I first class and the staff are really friendly …. Highly recommended and “we will be back”

This place has a warming atmosphere, all the staff are freindly and polite when you enter and continue to maintain that throughout your whole visit, the food is by far the best i have tasted in any other establishment and i have ate here many times, never had a problem with any meal or anything left on my plate, the owners are a lovely couple and you can tell by the way they are that they bring the family atmosphere into the work anf i couldn't recommend a better place for anyone to vist

Great food and customer service but in an area that can't be seen for most people so need signs to attract more people and allow more people to enjoy their outstanding food!!

Wonderful waitress who made the meal a great time regardless of the food. Lockdown Burgers were very good, as was the IPA.
