Excellent bar on Winstanley shopping precinct. Superb selection of both beers and gins. Really good atmosphere when we visited as numerous large screen tv's showing the football. Really good independent bar , would certainly visit again

What a fantastic place to socialize. Great and attentive staff. A wide selection of beers etc. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Would recommend here whether it be to watch sport or meet with friends.🍻🥂🥳.

One of two amazing takeaways in the Wigan area, will definitely be coming back , ordered the treat box and I was blown away with how nice it was! Service was amazing and the staff are so friendly, no delayed times or messing around , going to be my regular from now on ☺️

The food service was well organised considering it was so busy. The staff had everything under control. I had made a mistake on one meal when placing the order online which was quickly rectified by staff. Everything arrived hot with plenty of veg to share. My only small grumble was that two tables had been placed very close together in the walkway, so when people were sitting in back to back chairs there was hardly room to squeeze past. We were on tables 3 and 4 and had plenty of room other than that.

Bought lunch for the family in Winstanley Shopping Precinct. The pies and cakes were lovely. But the pork pie was very dissapointing. It was thin, the pork was mushy and the pastry soft and soggy. Very dissapointing.

Amazing food and service highly recommend

Would recommend. Had a lovely Christmas day dinner at the Poacher. All staff couldn't do enough for us and we where made to feel very welcome. Relaxed atmosphere didn't feel pressured or rushed and would definitely book again. Thanks again to all at the Poacher.

Ordered one curry and naan to collect at 7.40, gave them an hour and they hadn’t started when I got there! Ready at 8, curry was ‘ok’, very poor overall

Visited cafe twice a week for years with 4 friends. Good food and staff just wondering when the cafe at marus bridge wigan is going to open agsin. X loads of people miss it. X

Sudden nausea after eating followed by aggressive case of vomiting & diarrhoea a couple hour after.

Vidutedvhyst antes de Navidad estaba a punto de salir ya que la comida era vil. Luego escuché lo que resultó ser un gerente gritando a una joven empleada que obviamente no estaba bien de una manera que solo puedo describir como repugnante, acusándola de mentir, todo esto frente a los clientes. La pobre niña estuvo cerca de llorar y simplemente se fue. Me fui poco después, pero debería haber dicho a este "gerente" exactamente lo que pensaba frente a los pocos clientes que quedaban. Nunca volveré a ir allí y te sugeriré que tampoco. Espero que esa jovencita no haya vuelto, nadie merece que se le hable así
