Ordered one curry and naan to collect at 7.40, gave them an hour and they hadn’t started when I got there! Ready at 8, curry was ‘ok’, very poor overall

Delicious food - ordered through Uber Eats - took longer than expected but they were very busy best Indian Ive had in a while. Well worth the wait.

This is the first time I've ordered from here and it was on recommendation of my friend who lives in Goose Green. It's his local Indian and he orders from here❤️ It was absolutely beautiful and a huge portion as well! The delivery driver was polite and and delivered my order on time. I will definitely be ordering from here again! 👏

Tried this place for the first time on Friday it was spot on I love Indian food I've tried pretty much every Indian in Wigan, il be going again tonight think am going to try the phall

excellent service,quick servings and the meat is perfectly cooked i'll overall give their buissness a 4 Editing this through a year later (29 August 2023) and the service isn't actually good or quick at all, the working conditions weren't great but the people who work there are alright.

Great meal. Meat was really tender, the sauces bursting with flavour. Kemma Naan had so much meat in it, it could have been a kebab! Well worth it.

Always excellent. But tonight awful. Orderd chicken tika wrap. Wrap was burnt and dry, like chewing cardboard. Chips look warm, order was late arriving. Think look for different takeaway, soo disappointed

Ordered tonight at 6.10 pm told me it will arrive 7.10 pm never arrived rand 4 times didn't answer, I've never ordered from here before and I won't again, I got recommended, what a very unprofessional place .

Ordered at 6pm via their own website for a 7:45pm delivery. Call them at 8:15pm and was told it’s on the way then just hung up. Extremely rude and unprofessional.

Ordered at 6.00pm for 7.00pm delivery. Despite calling them 3 times the food had not arrived at 7.30 . So we went to collect from another provider. Very disappointed.

We've been out all day and recently had a new kitchen so still don't have the means to cook. My lil one wanted a mac d's but we persuaded them to wait till we got home. We ordered 1 curry between 2 adults and a kids meal. It turned up way before the expected time which was great and was all super hot and delicious. I did phone up to complain that they hadn't put a lolly in with the kids meal when in fact they had put 2! Can't fault this restaurant, will definitely be ordering from them again.

After arriving 20 mins late the food was so good and tasty the only problem I had was it wasn't hot it was luke warm but apart from that all was good

Cold food, stale naan bread. Phoned to complain and have the meals replaced but recieved nothing but abuse. Wont be returning. Terrible food and even worse customer service

Been going Shylet spice for years it’s by farr the best Indian Takeaway in the area never disappointed . The set meals are amazing value the food is always Red hot the service is always fast and efficient , keep up the good work Shylet spice .

Amazing food can't fault it! Delivery times are a bit all over the place if you order at weekends expect to wait anywhere up to 2 hours! Throughout the week it's about half an hour wait but food wise it's great and really tasty!

Worst Indian I’ve had in a long time. Starter was lovely. Main meals were a big let down, tasteless sauces and chewy meat. Even with the £15 discount I feel short changed. Looking forward to an Indian all week and unfortunately this was below average!

Nice food always deliver quickly

So, spent £30.00 and was supposed to be free delivery, but was charged.... Small issue, but ordered 2 naan, one plain one cheese and corriander... Got 2 plain.... When you spend 30.00 for a takeaway you expect accurate service especially if you ordered an hour and half before you asked for delivery. Enough time to get it right. Love the food, let down.

Hit and miss with sylhet spice. We normally get a chef's special and we really enjoy them. We tried the set meal B and it was really disappointing. Bland and threw most of it away. Also tried a korma 12.06.2020 ordered with chips and bread. The chips were missing from the order and the Korma looked like somthing out of a babies nappy, yellowish gray colour and overly sweet! I rang to complain, the man was apologetic and offered to make me a new dish but I didnt have high hope's that the new order would be any better.

We ordered a meal to be delivered using the just eat app due to the current covid 19 restrictions. Delivery was earlier than predicted. The food we had was nice and was there enough for us all.

My daughter ordered via just eat. Ordered at 5-20 and requested delivery for 7-30. Arrived at 11-20 pm. Who wants to eat so late. Totally unacceptable to accept orders that have no chance of being delivered anywhere near requested time. Would ever order from this takeaway.

Ordered, and they stated 1 hour 15 mins, 1 hours 45 later rang, they said 10 mins, 30 mins later, still no soddin food!!! Rang again, guess what, 10 mins!!!!! Cancelled order. 6 guests left hungry!!!!

Good quality, flavours and portion sizes. I do wish they'd improve their service though. Rang and they said 20 mins to collect, told them I'd be 30 mins and turned up after 35 mins only to have to wait for 15 mins further - it's a real frustration and perhaps a reason I might try somewhere else

The food from here is lovely but they really need to sort out the amount of time it takes to get orders out to people. It’s usually well over an hour and it’s very frustrating.

Ordered they said 1 hour .turned up 1 hour 10 mins . But boy it was worth the wait rice was a little cool but the taste of the meals was top class .. will be a regular now . Thanks .

Food took over two hours to arrive samosas were under cooked and tasted like they have been cooked with fish chicken chat was cold and slimy curry it self unbelievably greasy with very little chicken and nann was like card cardboard rice was ok.worst indian takeaway in wigan definitely never ordering again

Waste of space. Ordered through just eat and 15 minutes before the delivery was due the take away cancelled the order without any explanation. Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole again.

As usual the food was great, best takeaway Indian food I've found in the area. However, if you can, pick it up! You won't have as long to wait over the allotted time. Whether phoning your order for collection or delivery, it's NEVER ready on time. Try not to let it put you off though, just order your food for 20 minutes before you actually want it!

First time we orderd got the food order wrong i went to collect and they told me to ring my husband on loudspeaker because they forgot. Still got it wrong then have to deliver it and replace what i had just picked up and was STILL wrong. They told us we orderd lamb instead of chicken.. * we don't eat lamb* so was quite funny really so.... 2nd time we told them please repeat our order back to us and ended up with food poisoning both me and my partner threw up just 4 hours after eating I had a kebab and he had a curry so how could we both be poorly on separate meals???? Disgusting

After waiting 1hr 45Mins for delivery, ringing up twice, & saying driver set off 5Mins ago & that be patient we're busy. Food did finally arrive, Tandoori chicken was good, the rest scraped off into bin. Will NOT be ORDERING from here again... Probably has good ratings due to lack of Indian food in Area.

Won’t be ordering from here again! We have ordered many times from this takeaway and even though the order has always been late we have enjoyed the food.Tonight was unacceptable. I’ve ordered nearly £60 worth of food to be delivered and it was over 2 hours late! The delivery lad just laughed at me when I said “you shouldn’t keep taking orders in,if you cannot deliver on time”.Our food was cold,I had to dish it all out and microwave it,to make it hot enough to eat.I rang Just Eat to complain.They weren’t much help and offered me £18 in compensation! Not good enough! I won’t be using this website again,or Shylet Spice in Wiga.Terrible customer service! 😡

Try the Sylhet Spice special. Its meant for one, but plenty for two. The diversity of tastes & textures are superb. Although i didnt eat it all, i felt like i needed a crane to lift me from my chair. Were i able, i would have eaten it twice.

My first time on this review just sent my order back for being over 2 hours late for the second time in 2 orders don't bother I won't be

ordered through just eat on Saturday night at 7pm. said it would be delivered at 745. they then added 30 mins to the order which is fine i understand. phoned at 825 they said 10 mins then phoned again another 2 times and got told i was the next one. I told them of i wasn't here for 9 i was cancelling my order and complaining via just eat. the food arrived at 9pm on the dot they gave me a bottle of pop to apologise for the late arrival. when we got the food the majority went in the bin watered down curry with a few onions swimming about. the worst curry i have ever had. never again will i be going here.

Called in at Sylhet spice on a walk home from the local. The chicken tikka kebab I had was one of the best ive ever tasted, it was delicious and ill definitely be returning :).

Ordered a chicken tikka biryani with a madras sauce. .the chicken was small pieces and very dry. The sauce delivered was the wrong one (plain sauce )phoned them and they sent out another sauce. But when it arrived it was basically the same as the previous sauce , not even close to a Medras. This meal was very poor and the standard of food has really dropped.

Sylhet Spice is an excellent take away. The food is always delicious and we've tried a few of the meals on offer. The kitchen special is my favourite 👍 plenty of meat and a good portion. I'd highly recommend you try this take away 😊

Fast food would be a disservice for Sylhet Spice. Cooked to perfection while you wait, this place is a hidden gem in the middle of Winstanley. My family have always been treated to exceptional food and polite, friendly service. Whether it be starters or mains, the food is first rate and served with a smile!!

Always a good curry, my favourite, chicken tikka chat starter with chicken dopiaza main. I do like the hot mix kebab on a Friday night.

Ordered some food through the just eat app at 18:15 and it was due to arrive at 19:05 it didn't turn up so we waited an extra 20 mins then phoned the shop they said it was on its way it had just left the shop (5 mins drive away *yes we are being lazy*) another 20 mins later still no food so we phone again to be told yet again it has left the shop. It is now 20:00 food has only just arrived with no apology for being late. I am beyond angry I won't be ordering from here ever again.

Cheer up Friday takeaway on a miserable tiring Friday, me full of cold and bad chest and son overtired trying to balance busy day and weekend ahead. Lovely fresh cooked food ,generous portions , melt in mouth poppadoms :) fab :)

Ordered two meals and was 45 mins late but it's Saturday they could be busy gave em benefit of doubt. Opened food it was cold had to re heat it not a great start but tucked in ordered a LAMB rogan josh God only knows what it was but pretty sure it weren't lamb ??? It had pineapple in it ffs ????? Iv binned it may as well have ate the £25 it cost me !!! Iv used this take away numerous times over the years and usually it's been alright but tonight's put me off EVER going back. Severely disappointed

Regularly scoff here and I can really recommend it. Prices are great and the South Indian Thali is amazing.... ..... in the words of Ghandi "I love owt like that me"

My partner and I fancied a proper curry we hadn't tried sylhet spice before.

2nd week in a row, and still excellent!! On time and food perfect. And I'm from Leicester so I know my curries!! Prawn purre is the best ever!

We ordered a meal at 7.05 and it said estimated delivery at 7.55. Still hadn't arrived at 8.50 so we called the restaurant. They explained they were busy and to give them 15 mins. At 9.35 we telephoned again as it still hadn't arrived. The delivery driver pulled up whilst we were on the phone. They offered to knock £2.50 off the bill after we complained. When we explained we would not be willing to pay more than half the price for the meal, after it turning up 2.5 hours after ordering, they refused so we refused to accept the food. Have reported to just eat. This is unacceptable service.

We ordered various dishes for the whole family, 2 adults, 3 kids. Food was good but it took 2 hours to arrive and that was after multiple phone calls to chase. It was Saturday evening so they were probably quite busy but will try Ajanta in Pemberton next time, will review that soon!

Helpful and friendly staff and great food

Quite possibly one of the best Indian take aways I have been to. The food is always excellent and the delivery time is accurate.
