Really friendly staff glad to see it back open incredible food

My favourite place for an Indian, absolutely gorgeous food. Not usually the type to leave a review but I’ve missed the whilst they’ve been away and haven’t been able to find anyone that can make a Chicken balti even close to as good as they do. Always generous with the portion sizes and spot on with delivery. See you guys again soon

No chef,same guy, gave it 3 chances, never would I eat there again.worst I've ever come across. My advice pay a chef and you do delivery on time1👎

We ordered a takeaway, 2 x lamb karia with pilau rice and a naan bread. Food was on time, piping hot and was cooked to perfection 👌

It was evident I had the last order of the day as there was hardly any meat in any of the dishes, the samosas were supposed to be meat but was veg and whilst the sauces were tasty there was very little fillings, obviously just used what they had left over and did not expect the quality to be so low, I even paid extra for lamb and it so was not, won’t order from here again, shame I can’t get my money back as this is the only thing that would appease me right now, sadly lacking

Another 10/10 for us tonight. If anyone hasn’t tried the chicken dansak and the chicken chilli masala you really need to. Thank you again guys for the amazing food!

Sadly the food was very late due to the restaurant being so busy. This also reduced the quality of the food.

placed an order just after 6pm, waited for over an hour for confirmation. they've only gone and closed when they were originally open. wouldnt of been able to place an order if they didnt. got the money back

I've never had a bad meal from here.. but tonight the food was shocking chicken was like rubber the madras sauce tasted like hot water and chilli powder mixed together! The naan bread was like cardboard.. rice was nice 🤣

Lamb was really tough and chewy and really dry both curries where really watery and tasteless will not be going here again Paid £30 for 2 wet tasteless curries absolutely ridiculous.

Food took 1 hour 40, it was cold when it arrived...the mint yoghurt sauce looks like white water and the nan bread has never seen an oven. So disappointed after reading such good reviews..this will be the first and last time we order from here ...waste of £31.50!

Food was very late (45 minutes after they said and almost 2 hours after we ordered) and when it arrived the curries were very watery. Quite disappointed.

Amazing food as always! Never had a bad meal from here always cooked perfectly and fast delivery the driver is very friendly too.

The only Indian I know locally that makes Chana Masala and the onion bhajis are the best anywhere.

We have ordered a few times from cinnamon with no issues. The food was cold and didnt have much taste when it arrived. Not sure if different chef. But very disappointing.

Food was rotten. Chips were soggy, naan was rock solid, nearly broke my tooth trying to rip into it. I couldn’t even bite into the onion bhajis as they were too hard.

Ordered garlic chicken curry and couldn’t taste no garlic whatsoever, bland pilau rice and bland curry, won’t be ordering again sorry

Food was very very sloppy, almost tasteless and very runny consistency. Disappointing. The delivery was quick though.

Massive thank you to the delivery man who was so patient, I ordered food for my disabled son who lives in Leigh and I live the other side of Wigan with no glue how to direct him but he found him and was so lovely and kind.

Everything was hot and quick service, naan bread was nice and soft, but curry was really watery on the plate and didnt really have much flavour, ordered pilau rice which just tasted like plain boiled rice, overall bit disappointing

Waited almost 2 hours for delivery of food even though less than 5 mins from the shop. Arrived stone cold and I mean freezing cold, Nan had just turned to slop and went straight in the bin the only thing we salvaged was the the chicken. Should have been a sizzler was more like 5 small bits of chicken in sloppy wilted salad save your money Very poor quality even salad was limp one word SOGGY..

One word slop nan bread soaking wet went straight in the bin.Tiny soggy limp browning old salad not even fresh. Chicken 4 -5 small chunks mainly just sloppy limp salad we won't be using again that's for sure very poor quality. We can only presume it's been sat in a car footwell for an hour whilst making other deliveries.

Food is always great from here. Very surprised by delivery time as we have waited sometime in past between order and it arriving. So glad it was quick this time.

I spent over £20 and I had to wait an extra 20 minutes for it too arrive no popadoms usually at other Indians if you spend over a certain amount you get popadoms and I think it’s horrendous

Picked up take away 1 chicken burna with rice 2 chicken chat £18.30 Both cold Both tasted the same, couldn't distinguish the tasted the same Chicken chat is my favourite but had no flavour £18.30 won't be ordering again

Thr food was good but the delivery time was over an hour and half late. We will try somewhere else next time.

Wow. What a shocker! Orders at 5 30pm... 7pm I called the place to be told rudely it'll be 20-30 minutes. 7.40pm I called again to be told the same until I stated I called at 7pm. It arrived at 8pm and the delivery driver did apologise. Put the curry out and sat down to have to get back up to pour the huge water that had surrounded my food from the rice! The curry taste was OK nothing to rave about. The mint sauce was vile and watered down. My other half got a kebab he had a couple of bites from and didn't eat because it was just full of grease. So waste of money. Ordered, to try here after a recommendation but won't listen to people next time! The only positive is it wasn't bad priced.... but I suppose you get what you pay for!

Food arrived late, which is fine its weekend, but it was barely warm and everything you bit into you got a mouth full of greasy oil, all food tasted greasy and salty, won't order again.

Excellent food as usual - Well worth any wait times.. ignore any bad reviews, especially any for a late delivery!! - The food quality makes up for any additional time taken to make.. the wait is usually due to high volume orders. Our favourite Indian by far and continues to impress - Genuinely not had a bad one yet and have been ordered for years 🔥🔥

It’s a crying shame I have always given excellent reviews for Cinnamon In Leigh. But for the second time half the order was very bland and tasteless. Us as a family have always enjoyed their food but not this time.

Now, I’ve placed more just eat orders than I’d care to admit and I saw mixed reviews here, so I thought I’d give it a go. Admittedly I agree with the other reviews regarding the korma, it doesn’t taste like your standard creamy takeaway korma. Although still enjoyable, it is slightly redder and thinner than what you’re usually used to at other takeaway Indians. However it’s clear they use real high quality chicken and I personally enjoyed the korma. I’d order from here again.

Food was 20 minutes late, arrived with soggy, uncooked chips, poppadoms were soggy and wet. Curry was nice however the poor service from the man I spoke to on the phone and the delivery driver himself was very disappointing and so rude. Shocking customer service.

Had food we ordered missing. When we eventually got our food it had no flavour and we had too chase the restaurant up to find out where our food was. Won't be ordering from here again and I suggest everyone else avoid this pace as well

Zero!! Food is disgusting and late? 8 slices of mushroom in a a dodgy korma sauce. 3 tiny cubes of lamb in a gloopy textured oil filled tasteless Rezala. Squidgy tasteless meat in the mixed starter? Uncooked keema naan without the taste of keema?

We order from cinnamon often, usually once every week or two. Every time the food is cooked to perfection, excellent quality, great taste and proper portions. If you’re after a local curry place, this is the one for you!

After the nearly 2 hour wait, our food arrived with soggy poppadoms, and a tikka masala sauce that was basically chicken in red water. Chicken pakoras only came with the one salad instead of two and weren’t the best, Partner binned hers and made something else. I’m not one for leaving bad reviews but an Indian isn’t a cheap meal. Really poor effort all around. Won’t be coming back.

Moved to leigh two years ago and not been able to find a good curry shop tonight I tried cinnamon and I hit the jackpot it was delicious the best curry I've had in a long time won't be going elsewhere in the future I'm staying with cinnamon well done chef it wax really worth the money and delicious

Why do all the curries taste the same, no spice and flavour? Look like im going to have to keep driving into mcr for a decent curry.

Thought it was about time to update the reviews on this take away. First - delivery - very good service - although we had been warned by the member of staff who took the order, that timing wasn't their high point, our meal arrived only 8 minutes after the requested time. The chutneys tray looked OK but in fact the raita and the mango were both very thin. The onion bhajis were small and beauifuuly crisp - we prefer this size to the large ones which often have soggy middles. The lamb was certainly lamb - most pieces were very well cooked but a couple in both the dopiaza and the balti were a bit chewy. The dopiaza had lovely, well cooked, chunks of peppers and onions which are the mainstay of this dish. All in all an accepatable meal at a good price. The questions re this restaurant are not relevant as it is take away/delivery only
