I had a lovely carvery today at primrose farm. Everything was cooked perfectly. There was 4 meat choices and all the veg was available it was very fresh. Lovely staff too especially sharon. Definitely recommend a Sunday dinner xxx

Bar service a little slow, hence the 4 stars. However ordering the food on the app & service was excellent. Staff very friendly & great food too.

Popped in for some lunch as a treat. Was served straight away with a smile from a young man called Oliver behind the bar. Was nice and chatty and encouraged me to buy a cake from the macmillian coffee morning that was taking place. Food was delicious, I had cheese and onion pie with mash. Really enjoyed it. Thank you.

Me and my family come here quite frequently especially when we come for family birthday meals. The food is amazing and the staff are incredible, they are always on time with your orders and always remain professional. Can not fault the staff here nor the service. There’s one in particular staff member called Stacey, she has served me and my family on a number of occasions, she has been incredible with her professionalism. She is an absolute credit. 5 stars all round x

Made the mistake of choosing Primrose for some dinner today. We thought it was weird that the venue was so empty on a saturday afternoon during school holidays but once the service started it was clear why. Ordered two glasses of coke with no ice (fully aware less ice doesnt mean more drink) two half glasses were brought over and when we questioned it got told that it was the measurement only for the manager to then apologise for what we had been served. I chose the chicken and halloumi burger as the menu stated it was 'stacked' with halloumi, only to be served the picture below. No staff hosting to greet you on entry, nobody saying goodbye when you leave, young staff walking around saying how bored they were. Shame the place has gone downhill so much, wont be going back and my advice would be that you dont even bother going anymore.

Went for a breakfast about 9am on a Saturday morning, as we were waiting for the car to be MOTd. Lovely pub and as always with GreenKing nicely laid out inside. Staff were lovely and friendly, we were served by Kat and Victoria. Food was what you'd expect with a good range including black pudding (YEY!) and constantly kept clean around the serving area. The restaurant itself was fairly busy with families, pensioners and workmen (they're building a new estate nearby) so a nice atmosphere and music wasn't too loud. Toilets were nice and clean and well stocked too. Would come here again if I was over this way.. now, time to visit that cake-away counter for take home.. 🍰😋

I went here for breakfast on my birthday with my son and it did not disappoint. I always know the food will be good as I have been to many farmhouse inns, and it was great. The main thing that stood out was the service. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful, particularly Cara (hope I have spelt her name correctly). All in all, I would highly recommend

Food was Meh today. I just felt so verybsorry for Stacey and the other lady who were rushed off their feet being short staffed and just left to get on with it with no manger in site. Waiting times were the longest we ever had to wait.

Food was typical of the chain. Carvery was extremely slow, which affected the family meal. Hottest day of the year and the radiators were on high which Ruined the meal further.

Visited primrose farm today, the staff were very friendly and welcoming from the start, especially Stacey. Stacey sat down with me and went through my dietary requirements as I was unsure what I could eat. She went out of her way to help me and it was very much appreciated. She was a lovely girl with a great personality and great customer service skills.

Was here a couple weeks back, quality was lovely! Had a server named Chloe who was amazing and great with us; took mine and my husbands order perfectly and was patient with the kids, you don't find that often nowadays. Was a bit saddened however by an Elise who didn't seem to have the greatest manners or respect. 9/10 would come here again!

we had my brother in laws wake on July 24th at primrose farm 20 people attended and would like to thank Stacey, Shannon & Chloe for their service they couldn't have been more helpful, professional and thoughtful and were a big factor in everything going as well as it did the food was good and the service was excellent and we were looked after fantastically

Paid for extra pigs in blankets and Yorkshire puddings but didn’t get them, no Yorkshire puddings was sent, other than that food was okay roast potatoes was a little hard but everything else fine
