Can honestly say that was the best meal I've had in ages! Great service by Kara and Lauren. Will be back again.

Amazing service and good prices. Stayed for food and multiple drinks included spirits. Tyler provided great service and was patient and friendly despite the many questions of my relatives who had drank alcohol.

Came tonight with my friends and had a lovely carvery. Served by lauren at the bar who was very cheerful and Kara who even though it was busy still had a smile on her face. Food was fantastic and service is brilliant.

Visited primrose farm today for lunch. I got all day breakfast and the Mrs got a carvery. Could not fault the food. Staff were lovely and polite, friendly and welcoming.

It's a great place absolutely love it there, there's one carvery worker we had today called Mia who was incredibly nice and listened to what i wanted with the carvery :) She was great and definitely an amazing worker there! 🫶

Good food, reasonably priced and had a great time with the kids although 2 meals came out around 5 mins later than the others.

Turned up at 6 with the place packed still didn't take very long to get me meal I ordered maybe a 10 minute wait if that, nice vibe, nice staff. No actual complaints Definitely coming back

We love coming to primrose for a nice little treat, staff are always friendly and accommodating. Served today by Oli who was polite as always and even brought our drinks over to the table when my Dad walked away before they were finished being poured 🤣

Excellent staff work here, the young gentleman who took our order was extremely helpful and friendly, he asked straight away is there anyone have any allergies they should be aware of which in some restaurants they never ask this question, they rely on the menu and then it's up to the customer to tell them which in my opinion is very wrong all credit to the gentleman.

First visit with my 3 year old. Great choice of food and ideal play area. Great value. All staff very pleasant particularly Kelly the manager who was so friendly!

The food was lovely I had the mixed grill, my grandmother had the hunters chicken overall lovely food and staff

Mixed feelings really. Unless getting carvery, these places serve microwaved food. This is fine, but when you're paying top dollar, you kind of expect the food to better. I had to return the chicken plate, items that you can buy in Heron. The replacement burger was fine, but tbh, a quarter pounder from Maccies are better for the price. The management though were lovely, and resolved our queries swiftly with a smile.

Lots of space and seating inside and also outside in nice weather. I had the carvery on a standard plate which was plenty for me, although you could go large if super hungry! My partner had a hot chicken and bacon salad which was lovely, fresh and full of chicken. There's a good play area for children as well in part of the restaurant.

Always a great welcome, Kelly who we usually see when we’re in is one of the reasons we go, she’s friendly very helpful and always smiling. She is a people person and loves her job and it shows, the food is good value for money and delicious. We came for breakfast today, it was amazing 😊

First of all we won’t be eating here again, 04/04/25 for my birthday ,me and my wife has a so called meal here it was expensive and awful, I had mix grill and was over cooked, steak was tiny and the chicken was too, the tomato was bigger the meats was very hard, my wife had curry and the sauce had a layer of skin on it, back to being expensive if the food was as it should be then it was fair price, not our 1st time here as last time I had breakfast and it too was over cooked, sorry primrose I won’t be spending money here again, Talk too your chef

We booked for a family meal there is a carvery and also a good menu choice they have a kids menu and a gluten free one as I am coeliac depending on what time you’re there the service can be a little slow which is to be expected at rush times, we have been a few times and have had great service, they have a decent choice of foods for gluten free which is good the only disappointing bit for me is the desert choice it could be better for coeliacs, but all in all its lovely

Popped in for a carvery tea, was excellent, we were served the carvery by Alex (I think!), he was very friendly and helpful, and checked the levels of the food whilst he was serving people. Carvery was excellent. We had a slice of bumble berry cake between us for dessert, it was gigantic, one was definitely enough! Brilliant meal, great service!

Been here twice within last couple of weeks with my friend, not been here before, food delicious, reasonably priced too, service excellent, forever clearing tables, which was good!

Outstanding customer service received from Veronica and Sam today. Food was delicious,well presented and thick cuts of meat. Sam came over and asked me if everything was okay with my meal, which i genuinely appreciate, as this is rare nowadays, unfortunately. Lovely clean place, toilets immaculate, would highly recommend eating here or just popping in for tea and cake. The food didn’t arrive and the driver refused to come to the address. He asked for the code so he could say it was delivered but I refused to give him it as he was at least 5 miles away at the wrong address. I am still awaiting a response.

Despite living in Pemberton for 2 years this is the first time we visited for Sunday carvery. The food overall was very good however the service is poor. I requested a GF gravy when ordering at the till and was told to give them 5 mins to prepare it, after waiting 5 mins and getting food from the carvery I was stood around waiting for the gravy and it didn’t arrive .. 2 members of staff asked why I was waiting and I explained. Then I was asked by a manager/supervisor and she said sit down and I’ll bring it to you…. Well she never did I ended up eating my lunch as it was going cold but it was really dry without gravy. The manager who promised the gravy was more bothered about looking for lot property from her friend who left something behind, and then spent the rest of the time playing around with her mobile. Very frustrating, it’s a shame because if the service was better then it could be a place we’d visit often, staff just seemed to be poorly managed and was a tad chaotic at times, even though it wasn’t particularly busy

At 15:55 we reserved a delivery slot for 17:45, being diabetic I took my insulin to coincide with the booked delivery time, the food didn’t arrive until 18:35 some fifty minuets late and two phone calls later, which was really frustrating and disappointing. When the food arrived it was loop warm and needed reheating which further spoiled the experience. There were plenty of vegetables and potatoes but the roast beef was tough and disappointing with only two thin slices which didn’t feel enough. From the reviews it looks as if the in house experience is far better than a delivery and maybe you would be better to eat in, to be honest we won’t order again. Customers plan against the advertised delivery time and although it’s reasonable that a 5 – 10 minutes delay can happen, 50 minutes late is a bit much to expect.

Massive improvements. Had some delicious meals today, friendly staff and great service from the young lad serving the meat. My little boy enjoyed the carvery, it was all nice and fresh and hot. It was great to see this place busy again, and the meals were great. Well done to all the staff x
