The best restaurants in Parbold West Lancashire North West

We called in after kayaking on the canal so we were quite hungry. I like the variation in the menu. Not your typical choice. I chose the falafel wrap which was tasty and filling. My friends chose a salad, and the special turkey burger. Both said they were happy with their choice. After we had a delicious cake each. It is a friendly, refreshing place with friendly staff. Good to see they are dog friendly, as a lot of dog walkers on the tow path. Will definitely call again.

Excellent food, great quality and attentive staff. Will definitely be back. The choice of food and the ambiance make it an ideal place for a lunch or dinner date

Food 5 star, service 5 star. Staff all had 5 star smiles. The guys could do enough for is. Waitess Holly really did ho that extra mile. The wife and I had a cheeky Sunday morning sausage, bacon and egg....brilliant !!!

Amazing food all served by very experienced and helpful staff. The ale is made in-house and is fresh and cheaper than other pubs by cutting out any middle man. Never had a bad pint! Worth a visit. Def going back.

Great local pub serving a good selection of beers and Gins as well as traditional pub food. Its set out around dining so there are only a few non eating tables if you are just having a drink . It gets busy so I would advise booking in advance.

Brilliant meal and very friendly staff

We were a group of friends and booked in advance and also picked our meals My husband chose featherblade beef but it said something else he found the meal very overcooked and thought that it was microwaved. I ordered ahead the game of the day it turned out to be a game pie again the meat was very overcooked and tough not a good meal we have eaten here before but definitely won’t go rushing back again if at all.

So the good is the meat samosas and peshewari naan is amazing. Other two currys we ordered were decent. Delivery was 40mins late, in fact ordered 3 times now and always late and food was cold so wont be ordering again from there.

Gorgeous, as always. Good food, good service, quaint setting, reasonably priced. What's not to love. The Sunday roast was simply superb

The pub interior is what you could describe as Olde Worlde...yep with some regulars having a drink by the bar and some customers take their dogs along too...however, the food and service I have always found to be excellent. Its a real 'rural type' pub and doesnt (I think) pretend to be anything else. The menu whilst not extensive is quite varied but the key thing for me is that the welcome is warm, the food is really good and the prices are more than reasonable.

We were very impressed with the service provided. The menu was comprehensive and the food was amazing. Thanks to Carol who has exceptional customer service skills. Nothing was too much trouble.
