Very good breakfast in a comfortable and relaxing environment. The staff were welcoming and provided excellent service.

I stopped off here whilst cycling from Blackburn to Liverpool. Busy enough wee place with one of the best fry's I've had in a long time. The coffee was decent too. For those of us arriving by bike, there is a rigid small uncovered bike stand outside near the front tables, viewable from inside.

Called in on a sunny day for a coffee and ice cream, found the owner quite abrupt and staff not very helpful. Asked for an ice cream menu was told only served through the side hatch, decided to sit inside and have a coffee and asked again for the ice cream menu, waiter sped through a selection of ice creams verbally and expected us to remember them all, was passed a food and drink menu but the deserts ( ice cream ) not listed ?? asked waiter for a repeat of ice cream menu, sped through it again. Ordered coffee and ice cream from memory, was good ice cream but nothing to write home about. Heard people arriving as we did and given the same treatment.

Lovely food and great location. It’s just a pity the old man who greeted us on the till was abrupt and unwelcoming. We’ve visited before and found the young members of staff to be polite and friendly. Such a shame as he lost our custom and we visited the pub across the road instead.

Excellent customer service from booking to leaving. Fabulous food, great service, good value and a lovely vibe. So glad we chose here to meet school friends who we hadn’t seen in 12 years. Recommend.

Went for an inpromptu lunch, should have booked, however after a short wait we were shown to a table. As always the coffee, sandwich and salad were fabulous, as was the lemon drizzle cake. This really is a special cafe, however, I would always advise booking first.

First ever visit, but will be returning very soon. Quite a small venue but with a big heart. Owners are so polite and welcoming and the coffee and food were gorgeous and very well presented. Lovely location by the canal too

This Restaurant suddenly popped up in my FB feed, showing menus. My wife & I decided to pay a visit this morning for a nice cooked breakfast. We were very pleased to find it was open and we did not have to make a reservation. We were warmly invited in and shown a table, drink orders taken and menus left. A few minutes later the coffee arrived and we ordered our food. I ordered the full breakfast with poached egg and my wife ordered eggs Benedict. Everything was absolutely delicious and worth every penny. I had another coffee before we settled up and left. A great find, next to the canal in Parbold.

Stopped here during our walk on the canal from Appley bridge to parbold, it was our first time here and won’t be our last. Loved the decor and the vibe inside the cafe very chic but modern. The staff were lovely we were served by a lovely gentleman who came over to our table to take our order very promptly and then delivered our drinks and cake later. The coffee was lovely and so was the cake. Thank you for a lovely experience:)

Our family of 6 stopped here at 2pm on Saturday for lunch and ice creams, after a walk down the canal from Appley Bridge to Parbold. Seated inside, we were served quickly and efficiently in a very friendly manner. Food was delicious and good value for money. Glad we found you, we will definitely return.

Always visit here for lunch and the food is to die for. Friendly service, just be mindful that it’s a very popular place so I’d advise booking. Shame the venue isn’t a little bigger to avoid disappointment for walk ins. Keep doing what you’re doing :-)

My wife and I absolutely love everything about “YITE” We visit the premises at least once every week. We love not only the food but also the completely relaxed atmosphere of the premises with staff who have become our friends over the years. For me and my wife Sonja it’s like being at home for us when we go there for breakfast. The food and coffee is first class and can’t be beaten. This is a lovely place to stop for breakfast, situated on side of canal, very welcoming and lovely food and surroundings. There are a few outside tables if prefer. Food arrives freshly cooked and a high quality. We have had lunch here too previously and afternoon tea, all really good. Amazing soup. Recommended.

Escaping the motorway due to an overturned lorry and landed here courtesy of reviews on TA. Lovely looking café on a dip, with a tricky little car park. Friendly locals and good atmosphere, busy outside. Coffee and cake was just what we needed.

Visited here recently and was surprised to be sat on a small bench with others already dining which definitely did not allow for social distancing. The food was lovely but I think the seating arrangements should be reconsidered because I feel it could make some people feel uncomfortable.

After finding this place while kayaking, we stop off on a cycling ride last month. One of the best stops we have had. The customer services was second to none and the coffee was to die for. I'll be seeing you again and again. Thanks and please say safe.

Stopped for a quick bite to eat whilst on a cycle ride on the Leeds Liverpool canal towpath (3rd Aug 20), was really pleasantly surprised firstly how well organised YITE was in the current situation regarding social distancing,sanitisation,cleanliness of common areas such as the bathroom etc,secondly,the food was of an extremely high standard I had the pastrami bagel and my wife had the prawn and salmon salad both of which were fantastic 5 stars for everything including the service.

Poor quality coffee Overpriced food Captive canal side customers being fully exploited.........a lot to be said for carrying a flask and some sandwich’s when this is all that’s on offer.......won’t be going again

We arrived around about 12.15pm today, we were instantly welcomed on arrival and offered seats at the high table as you enter the cafe.The staff were all extremely friendly and very helpful. I asked out waitress about the difference fruit teas, she recommended the mango tango tea. I’m so glad the waitress did as it was really nice. My boyfriend has a cappuccino and we both ordered the fruit scone with jam and clotted cream. The order came out to us quickly and it was delicious!! It was also in a heart shape that I found really nice.We saw lots of food coming out of the kitchen and it all looked so tasty. The cafe itself was clean, loved the decor, very quirky which I like and I can see it’s certainly a popular place to visit. It’s location is perfect next to the canal and I can see it becoming one of our new regular places to visit.Highly recommend, will definitely be returning to try the food and more of the delicious cakes. Great value for money too!

Another Sunday morning walk with a breakfast at YITE. We frequently call in here and the service and food is always eliably good quality. Not sure if they take bookings as we never think that far ahead for a Sunday morning but i would recommend that if they do, you should. The reputation is such that more and more people are using it. We actually sit outside if it gts really busy, even in winter if the weather allows.

Pretty busy yesterday, had to sit on stool for lunch close to the front door which was constantly being left open,so didn't enjoy my visit on this occasion, food was good,staff friendly and helpful.

Really good place to refuel after walking around the beautiful countryside of Parbold. We walked in and were lucky enough to get a table without reserving. You can eat outside if you are biking the canal. It is dog friendly so you can eat lunch with your 4legged friend. It is reasonably priced and has different sorts of sandwich combinations than the usual. I had curriedcaulflower soup and a garlic mushroom sandwich. It was yummy and different!

Just got our order for waffle with fruit compote and natural greek yogurt in before the menu changed from breakfast to lunch one at 11.45. Staff helpfully pointed this out; otherwise we might have missed an absolute treat.The coffee was excellent too; made exactly as we asked.

I have visited this cafe before and have previously enjoyed coffee and cakes.When I visited last week, there were no available tables - not a problem in itself BUT a polite response from the manager would have encouragred us to return another time. But just a “No we don’t have any tables and those that will be available are already booked.” End of conversation. Friendliness is all part of good service

We really enjoy walking along the canal path and then rewarding ourselves with a lovely breakfast or coffee at YITE. The service is alaways good, even when the place is full (which it frequently is). Themenu has a good choice of breakfasts and coffees/teas that should satify most people's requirements. more than happy to return here and also to highly recommend to others.

As I am local to the area I have visited Yours is the Earth on many occasions and it certainly never fails to disappoint. As a child, it was previously known as The Rocking Horse. Despite it now being many years later, it is still the best Coffee Shop in and around Parbold Village. The staff are all so friendly, attentive and service with a smile seems to be their priority rightly so). They serve coffee which is reasonably priced, tea, fruit teas and juices. The cake selection is great - and selection for those who are Vegan. Yours is the Earth are also dog friendly which is always a bonus, as there are so many walks in and around the village.

first time visit had lovely soup then open sanwich of hummus and one with avocado served with lovely fresh salad and fab tomatoes great little place will devo be going again

I have been to this restaurant a couple of times recently. The menu is really varied, with vegetarian and vegan options available. Everything is prepared fresh and using local produce. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Me and the wife really enjoyed our lunch here. It’s a nice clean place and the food was really good. I opted for the fish cake with salad which was perfect for a light lunch. The wife had the YITE Mediterranean which she enjoyed. We will definitely be back to sample some more food.

Great little coffee shop that always hits the spot , from snacks and light bites to mains and the best coffee on the side of the Leeds and Liverpool canal ,the staff are very accommodating and pleasant and you never feel rushed although it is a very busy place ,if you need a rest and a refuel after a lovely walk ,then is the place for you .

Whilst out riding on a wet bank holiday Monday we decided to visit this spot by the canal in the village of Parbold. They were extremely busy but we were lucky enough to find a table for the 3 of us. The cake selection was superb and the 3 of us opted for the flapjack. Great coffee and cake, the perfect reward for a tough morning on the bike.

I had a great cup of coffee in YITE. They serve Robert’s from a local artisan roaster and it is delicious. The staff are always wam and friendly.

We arrived to enjoy what we wanted to be a leisurely Sunday breakfast and felt very disappointed by the restrictions made by the staff. We were made to feel unwelcome (as a couple of a certain age and their dog) as the staff were adamant we should sit at a high stool table, even though there were plenty of normal tables free! We told staff we could not manage the stools and they gave us an option of sitting at a table, but we would “have to move if a larger party come in” (where to we were not sure?) Having just moved into the area and having enjoyed several coffee stops while house hunting we were looking forward to lots of good times in this cafe BUT....definitely not now. Fortunately there are lots of lovely cafes to choose from and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast elsewhere.

Had a family lunch here today and have to say it was one of the best lunches I have had. Two of us had a special of the day which was roast beef in a roll with mushroom, Stilton & onion, served with a side salad and a small portion of skinny fries, just the right quantity of excellent food. My wife had a fish cake which she loved and our granddaughter had the mini fish cakes. The coffee was good as was the friendly service, the staff were very accommodating. My only criticism, and this is a personal gripe of mine, my lunch was served on a wooden platter, I really don’t like this as I can’t quite understand how these can be cleaned sufficiently. Next time I will ask for a plate, I’m sure they won’t mind.

A lovely spot, right near the canal. Enjoyed a lovely cheese and chutney sandwich. Plenty of salad on the side. The staff are very friendly. There are dining tables outside. Very welcoming. They don't mind you taking well behaved dogs inside. Would highly recommend.

We used to love this place. The decor and set up used to be so quaint and cosy but the new open plan cafe feels very oppressive and intrusive. The tables have been crammed in and are now so close together you feel like you cannot have a private conversation. The prices have increased but the quality and choice have decreased. We used to love popping in on a sunny day, often after school for an ice cream from the ice cream parlour but that has also been taken away. They still offer ice cream but in overpriced tubs without any sauce or sprinkles! Not appealing to anyone! It seems the lovely local cafe for the local people is no more! We won't be visiting again anytime soon.

Soup very watery this is the second time and tea very very weak only one tea bag in a pot for two seems like theyre cutting corners these days the soup used to be lovely not impressed

We stopped going for a while after a visit in which we were sat between two separate parties with dogs who decided to have a go at each other, the dogs not the people!!. I was so pleased to see there is now an area where dogs are not allowed. Food is good, nice homemade soups and sandwiches, however the service can be a bit slow. A great location after a canal walk.

Have been to Yours is the Earth on a number of occasions, for breakfast and lunch, food and service has always been excellent. Only problem has been what to order, great choice on the menu.

I’m so shocked by my experience here. After informing the staff i have a nut allergy they said they would refuse to serve me due to the kitchen and that they would 100% be cross contaminated.

My friend and I have just enjoyed a delicious lunch here. We have been several times already but today’s was the best yet. Lovely friendly staff, very comfortable surroundings, delicious food. Thank you.
