Recently moved to the area and this place had good reviews I can't fault the food other than very small portion of steak for main course, had the early diner set menu served and treated like a canteen, I guess they give better attention to higher price menu customers later in the evening. Nothing inspired us to return

We had a date night and omg food was amazing. Service great. We are from London and coming back to Warrington and this has been the best restaurant so far.

Often struggle for Indian delivery in Grappenhall. This is decent quality, good flavours and reasonably priced. Good solid curry with plenty of options, delivered quickly and easy to order online. You can’t go far wrong with a takeaway from here.

Still a good pub. Can get busy, but then that's a good sign. I'm updating my old review... I'd say the pub looks very smart since its refurbishment, not that I thought it needed one. The staff are friendly, attentive, and easy to deal with. There was a little issue booking online, but I'm sure that's not a problem overall. The food was lovely, the place was busy but not overcrowded and I will certainly be looking to go back sometime soon. Having had some disappointments in some other local pubs recently, my only real issue is why I hadn't returned to the Parr sooner. I shall not make that mistake again. I would definitely recommend the Parr for special occasions and indeed any occasion. Whilst it may mean that it will be harder for me personally to get a table in the future, I'm happy for nice places and people - like the Parr, to do well. We're should all support local businesses more, where and whenever we can. I'll try and do my bit, and I'm looking forward to it too. Thank you 🙏

£9 for dried up luke warm chips with a microwaved soggy pie and a tiny pot of poor curry sauce. Don't waste your money. Crap queuing system, order and then wait for them to make your order. Just make it while you order like a proper chippy would. Totally overrated, avoid.

Only tried this takeaway due to lymm chippy being closed. Will not be returning. At 5.pm they said they don’t have egg fried rice, no reason they just don’t have it. Not like it was the end of the night. Sweet & sour chicken tasted like sugar syrup on over cooked chicken it wasn’t edible. Salt & pepper chips tasted ok but as if they had been re heated. X3 meals x1 bag of chips and x2 sides came to £50!! Never again!!

Kieran couldn't do enough for us. He was so attentive even though it was mega busy. He managed to rearrange the booked tables so that the whole crowd was sat together. Totally recommend.
