Bhaji Fresh in Warrington

Often struggle for Indian delivery in Grappenhall. This is decent quality, good flavours and reasonably priced. Good solid curry with plenty of options, delivered quickly and easy to order online. You can’t go far wrong with a takeaway from here.

This used to be our go to takeaway which we have visited on a monthly basis for 6 years however it has really gone downhill. The meat is tough, especially the lamb. Every sauce tastes the same. Sadly we won’t be ordering again…£5 for a chutney tray with no poppadoms….we’ve found it’s cheaper to eat in a restaurant with much better quality food. Sad to say but it’s the worst Indian in Warrington now.

We are a family of 5 so our order is always Large around £80 worth Sat 4th March 2023 was my sons 16th Birthday 🥳 and Thomas chose Bhaji Fresh for his Birthday Meal. The order was placed and I collected it from the shop all ready and correct on my arrival. They carried all the food to my car and then presented me with a Gift BOX 📦. Apparently for being the most valued and reoccurring customer I was so shocked what a wonderful surprise. Cannot thank them enough. 🙏🏻❤️

Avoid at all costs. Phoned up to chase a late delivery and told to f*ck off. Surprisingly, we didn’t accept the food. Back to our faithful Bilash!!

Ordered delivery which was fulfilled within 40 mins however food was COLD, phoned up and got verbally abused down the phone, Bilash is my recommendation, only used this place as Bilash was shut, never again!

Unfortunately the set meal for 2 fell well below our expectations. We have used them for a long time but the last couple of times we have been disappointed.

We ordered a delivery this eve from Bhaji Fresh. I had Chicken shashlik and my bf had the tandoori mixed grill. Both were delicious arrived hot and the portion sizes were huge! Popadoms dips and naan also really good. Our order took about 90mins when specifying asap on the website but there’s a caveat to this due to current lockdown, and tbh it’s a Friday night so no complaints. Delivery driver apologetic about delay. We added a couple of amendments to our order in the comments section online and all were fulfilled. Would Highly recommend

Great food and great prices. The mixed kebabs are awesome. The only gripe is, there is always something missing, it is ALWAYS quickly replaced, but it is very annoying.

This is the best curry I've had outside of Asia. Tell the lads what you like and they'll sort you out.

This is the 7th or 8th time I’ve used Bhaji Fresh. One of the reasons I like this takeaway so much is you can order through their website which is very convenient. The main reason is the food is second-to-none. It has always been delivered still hot and it is presented very nicely. As far as I’m aware, there is no Indian takeaway in Warrington that beats this place. It gets 5 stars from me each time I’ve ordered.

if you pick up always a great bit of grub , delivery is a bit slow and hit and miss re food kept warmer, pity they stopped givin you a free starter for collectin

Used to go this place every other week on our night shift. Always spent well over £80 each time. The last couple of times our order was missing a main meal. Rang the restaurant and was told we will get a free meal next time as a refund. Twice this happened, no apology, no complimentary popadoms or sundries, even though we spend over £80 every other week. Will never, ever go here again.

Seems recently not as good as before ,delivery slow hardly warm and free starter for collecting not offered , food ok but not as good maybe they are just too busy come on boys up your game :)

Food is great, however they did make a mistake with the order but we will forgive this time due to the food being great and relatively inexpensive if you buy the set dinner.

This is possibly the worst curry me and my partner have had. We had a Bhuna which was thin and watery and there was cloves of garlic just through in whole. The starters, tasteless and the popadoms had gone stale. I ordered peshwari naan and pilau rice and was sent plain naan and boiled rice. A microwave meal would have been better. Avoid this place.

Received a leaflet through the door and thought the prices were very reasonable. Considering I was just ordering a few things as it was for myself it wasn’t hard to add up just coming short of £14. There was no delivery charge on the Learjet so I liked the sound of that. Food arrived on time with an £2.50 increase in price, I asked why? The lad shrugged his shoulders and said receipt was in the car. Starters were great main was okay the portions were nice and big.

Yet again food arrived late....opened the bag to find a very sweaty thick chapatti which was inedible. If you cant get the bread right theres a problem.

Set meal for 4 is excellent value for money and the food is amazing. Best Indian takeaway in Warrington. Wish they would deliver further a field even if it is was chargeable.

Went last night after reading about it receiving an award for the best Indian takeaway in the North West. Wish I never bothered the chicken was tough and the Madras more like a vindaloo. There are better takeaways in and around town.

Had an absolute fantastic experience at Bhaji Fresh this evening. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. I ordered the Nepalese curry as this is the the curry which gained them award winning status. It was absolutely top notch. My girlfriend had the tikka masala which was also spot on. 10/10 Would recommend

Order Bhaji fresh tonight. Meal was excellent. full of flavor Freshly cooked the chicken was great arrived on time as told telephoned when order was on its way delivery guy was well mannered and polite definitely will be ordering again. x

Food was disgusting, came cold after an hour and 20 mins. Spilled all over the bag. Meat was fatty and popadoms were stale and soft. Very disappointed.

Me caí con comida india ya había tenido un par de muy decepcionante que en el pasado reciente, pero este era perfecto. Hay que tener cuidado cuando ordene ya que las porciones son enormes - cada vez he tenido dos buenas comidas de una porción. El personal es atento, puedes pedir directo a través de su página web (no sólo), y la entrega fue cuando prometió.

Nos encanta este lugar! El pan Naan son enormes y muy agradable. El pollo tikka masala es para morirse, como son todos los curry que hemos tenido desde aquí. Pero todavía tenemos una mala comida de Bhaji fresca y hemos estado pidiendo desde aquí casi semanal desde que nos mudamos en más de hace 3 años. Incluso los locales de comida para llevar son preciosas y bien presentado, con una cocina abierta, un corte por encima del resto. El personal es encantador. No puedo recomendar este lugar - mejor que un restaurante indio! Sin duda, y ya no volverá a su habitual India!

Ordered 8pm, quoted delivery time 9.20pm!, then they changed to 9.50pm, crazy almost 2 hours for take away, won't order again.

Not up to what it used to be, cold food, sadly lots of gristle, wrong drinks delivered, ordered meat stuffed nann bread, no meat to be seen and the bhaji and samosas were dry, feels like it had been sat somewhere before being delivered, this used to be my favourite but the last 2 meals have not been up to the usual standard, unlikely that I will use again :(

Chips awful, curry awful, popadoms were good though, ordered bottle of pop they forgot said it would be 30 min and didn't turn up but I paid for it not happy and won't be using again and will be informing all my friends, bad food overall

Absolutely rubbish! Turned up 1 hour late. I called the takeaway and the person who answered didn't apologise and hung up (I was really polite in the phone so had no reason to hang up) on me. Don't use them much better Indian take ours available

Not normally one to bother writing reviews but had to for this due to the terrible service we had last night!! Ordered our takeaway at 7.20pm and did not get to us until just after 9.20pm (after several phone calls made) of which we were told it was on the way each time!! Also told they were really busy but not too busy to not accept orders or deliver food in poor standards hey!! When finally arrived the chips were hard and cold!!... The curry wasn't much to rave about and the popadoms .... Well.... What on earth were they?? Literally crumbled into tiny pieces, quite laughable haha! Will never order from here again and would not recommend! They don't seem to mind leaving orders in the car for any amount of time either as our delivery apprantly left at 8.30pm but obviously didnt arrive until 45 mins later....

Well impressed with the food & customer service too. Okay the food is slightly more expensive & you might wait a little longer (still delivered within given time) but it's well worth it. Been looking for a decent Indian takeaway for ages. Finally found one! Thanks & keep up the good work 👍👍👍

After placing the order my brother place virtually the same thing and his so much cheaper doing it over the phone to the restaurant direct! Will always go through the direct website....very disappointed!

The food is good but they are very very inconsistent, they always forget some sort of dish. A few weeks ago it was a naan bread and a side and tonight was a portion of chips and a naan bread (which was supposed to come free with the main) i gave it one more chance and won't be using them again

Easily the best Indian food I've ever eaten.

Food exceptional. Delivery driver tried it on a little pretending to have no change other than a pocket full of 5p pieces. So instead of getting a fiver change which allowed a £1.50 tip, I got £3.95. So the driver who already gets paid gets £2.55 for a delivery 1.5 miles away. I always tip a driver but will think twice next time. I have never come across a delivery driver without change before, it's common sense to keep a float.

When we first discovered Bhaji Fresh we were delighted with the quality of your food. The mixed starter was fantastic, all good perfectly and with a lovely onion dressing. Since then we have ordered regularly. Unfortunately, I feel that standard has not been met since. Although the food is still of a great quality it is falling short of how we know it can be. Please put the passion back into your cooking.

Tried delivering a whole 2 hours early then said don't worry we will leave on the hot plate until ready. Food wasn't that great and they sent a chicken dish instead of the lamb dish that was ordered.

After ordering over the phone we arrived almost 10 minutes after the pick up time given and still had to wait 15 mins. We were given a complimentary starter as an apology which was a duplicate item to what we had already ordered and paid for. Worst of all the popadoms came with no accompaniments just dry, no chutneys, onion or anything. Meal was ok but very disappointed service.

We've had quite a few meals from Bhaji Fresh and we keep going back because it's usually pretty good but this has been our most unfavourable experience. Delivery arrived on time as usual. We ordered a spicy (hot) chicken balti dish that was bland at best. The saag aloo had hardly any spinach in it and the potatoes are obviously tinned as they were soft and tasteless. The tarka daal was also thick and stodgy. Overall pretty poor quality. We'll probably give these guys another go because the food in the past has been great.
