Amazing food cooked to perfection..only 2 of us but enough to feed 4 ...ready to collect in 30 mins and the amount of extras mango chutney, salad , etc all in all excellent 👌..great value for money can't recommend this take away enough ...awesome

1st time order, food was hot, well cooked, tasty and on time. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the poppadoms are the driest we've ever had. Nothing greasy here! Exceptional, new to the area, this is going to be our new indian takeaway. Looking forward to trying more dishes.

The food was out of this world!! The service was excellent, and chatty. The chefs are so close, you can watch them cooking your delicious food! The smells are amazing! You won't be disappointed.

Do not order from this restaurant. Placed order on Uber eats and was charged without any food being delivered. Spoke to driver giving child like instructions and he was still unable to find house.

We always order our Indian takeaway from here as we think they definitely make the best curries in Penketh and Sankey. We would highly recommend this takeaway the staff are always very pleasant to.

I visited the Elaahi on Saturday 12th August having ordered a family meal as I had done many times before the experience was appalling and deserves reporting to trading standards, Elaahi offer on line deals namely 15 % off for all NHS and emergency services and was horrified to be bluntly refused by the rude man taking the payment despite showing him the on line offer and our NHS identification. To compound matters even more we received the meals missing the garlic rice and vindaloo sauce. I have contacted them and they refuse to reply. What a dreadful experience unfortunately I will now spend my money at an alternative Indian take away

Fast service and delicious food

I have used Elaahi for many years, since the day it opened and I have always been impressed with the quality of food. However I have ordered twice in 2023 and I have noticed a big change in the quality, all the meals have been dominated by huge chunks of raw onion and peppers. I hope I have just been unlucky and this is not a true sign of the food now offered at Elaahi

DON'T DO IT We have just spent £85 between 4 of us on a takaway which we would never normally do and it was discussing. We ordered 4 mixed kebab starters everything was the same colour and tasted the same. Chicken tikka masala was tangy and the garlic bhuna wasn't much better. WON'T BE ORDERING AGAIN

We love Elaahi for when we decide to have an Indian takeaway. We love the variety of options for vegetarians/vegans as well as meat.

Food was pre ordered and waiting ready when I arrived Food was very bland looking for Tandori style. Sauce just tasted of tomato purée chilli naan was covered in dry chilli flakes from a jar samber sauce had no lentils in it on the whole really disappointed won’t be going again

Ordered through Deliveroo. Order was missing a meal. They refused to deliver the missed meal. The food that was delivered was of very poor quality - I wouldn’t of fed it to the dog.

I have visited Elaahi a few times and I have never been disappointed. Theyre always grows with there portions. The ingredients they use can only be fresh if they taste that good! I have been given complimentary things on regular occasions. And the menu caters to everyone in my family. The ceolliac, the vegan, the vegetarian and the carnivore- Elaahi makes meal times hassle free!! Would always recommend!

A 1hr45 wait for food means we won’t be ordering again. An order was put in at 6pm and we were told it would be an hour - no problem. We arrived at 7:10pm so the food should have been bagged up and waiting. After having paid and waited for 10 mins we asked where our food was - which prompted the server to ask the kitchen if anybody was cooking our order! What’s the point in ringing to order if they don’t start cooking until after you arrive? This is unbelievable... We had to ask several more times and were ready to ask for a refund and leave when the food came out - we finally left at ten to 8 - 110 minutes after ordering. We got home to eat with family who had ordered from elsewhere and had already finished their meal long ago. After all that We opened the bag to find the order was wrong - we had been given cold, soggy chips instead of chapatis. Whilst waiting we heard several orders come in to be told there’d only be a 45 minute wait - if only! And more than one person ring to complain about mistakes with their order. They were clearly out of their depth here and shouldn’t have been taking orders they just couldn’t handle. We got a £5 voucher which will never be spent. The food we got was fine but it isn’t worth the hassle ordering from here. Go to Bombay 8 instead, the food is better and the customer service is lightyears ahead.

Love the food, the service is great and and staff always lovely. A wide variety of dishes available on the menu, and never had one let us down. It’s a hidden gem and is often busy particularly at weekends. Ordering online works really well. Often they have offers and discounts. Take your blue light card with you.

I heard about the amazing vegan menu that the Elaahi were offering through friends and couldn’t wait to try it out. I rang to ask a couple of questions about the online menu and the lady I spoke to couldn’t have been nicer. I collected my order after a really long day to be greeted by the same lady who was really chatty. One of the chefs also came over and was chatting away and even gave me a free desert which was so nice, especially in times like these🥺 I honestly thought I was going to cry when I got back into my car. In times like these when you can’t see anybody, the staff really put a smile on my face. The food was amazing and great portions too! Would highly recommend the Vegan Korma and Masala, they were amazing😻 I can’t wait to try the desert later when I’m not so full! The Elaahi is definitely my new favourite takeaway. Would 10000% recommend

Great tasting Indian food,can't beat it .

We ordered a small order from here this evening and it was cold, the rice was clumpy as though it had been microwaved and not cooked fresh, could not taste coconut in my coconut rice. The naan breads were cold and hard. Had a sense parts of our meal had been made hours ago as it was a pre order with it being New Year! The Saag meal was watery and the korma for my daughter lacked flavour. Very disappointed.

GREAT VEGAN MENU. Top service and great food. Unusual to find a place which has a separate vegan menu online and clearly know the difference between veggie/vegan etc. Made an order last minute miles out of the delivery radius and had a quick delivery. The team even called to make sure the order was good. Highly recommend for the vegan menu in their online website ordering system.

I've meant to leave a review for years but have only just got around to it. Excellent food. Good menu. Friendly staff. In 5yrs, only got my order wrong once and were very apologetic. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Update - 5 bad meals in a row. The last one was essentially 4 dishes which consisted mostly of potato. This was coupled with a 45 minute wait for food after I turned up when I was told it would be ready. Won't be going back any time soon.

If it's an Indian then it has to be Elaahi, been going here for a good few years now and they never disappoint, in fact it's so good I travel from Widnes!!! Went for my usual Chicken Pathia and yet again it didn't disappoint!!! I've had it in restaurants and nothing is yet to come close.

Food is amazing and always hot and plentiful. Staff are so friendly and accommodating and will make orders to suit individual tastes. Exceptional hygiene standards and cleanliness and fast service. Always a perfect start to weekend I just wish we had realised sooner!! Score 11/10 -fab.

Excellent food at Excellent price

I was really excited to try the vegan set menu take away and it did appear very good value and added to that the there was a half price uber eats voucher. It was a lot of food for the money but was really disappointed with the taste. I felt it was properly more catered for the Western clientele and was lacking in flavour for me.

Fantastic food. Yes, not the quickest, but happy to wait that little bit longer when the food is his good. One of the best currys I've had, and the Samosa was authentic and freshly made. Definitely will be going here again!

Great service today booked online 9am for a 6pm meal to be delivered. This arrived within the quoted time limit the meal was ell cooked and still hot The delivery person was polite and maintained advised social distance. I thank all staff involved Stay Safe everyone.

Ordered a meat today at 6.30pm and told to collect in 45 minutes. Arrived on time and had to wait to take away one hour !. I was not the only one in this position and people were becoming frustrated and angry. This is an established take away and are well aware of their delivery rate so clearly took too many orders instead of giving a true reflection of the waiting times, the food itself is always fine but think twice about ordering if you don’t want a long wait.

I have ordered from Elaahi 3-4 times now and always had a lovely, fresh and tasty meal. The portions are generous, they don’t scrimp on meat and there’s always promotions and set meal deals. They have a decent seating area while you wait and you can see the chefs cooking your food. It’s such a well run takeaway and the best we’ve had in the area, we’ve tried many over the years. The curry’s never have the slick of oil resting on top of the sauce that you get with many Indian takeaways. We are particularly impressed to see that they are offering NHS staff a huge discount during this difficult time and this makes us even more determined to support this local business.

Amazing service but the food was disappointing. Asked for butter chicken but it was nothing like it. Turned out a korma and the chicken was really dry. Shame.

We’ve been going to this takeaway on and off for years. The timings have always been hopeless but we got used to that. Last night was the worst ever for timings, but even more disappointingly the food wasn’t good - most of it ended up in the bin rather than being a nice lunch for the day after. It seems to me that they take more orders than they can deal with. I don’t think I’ll bother again.

I've never eaten from this place but I did enter a competition and won a meal on Christmas day I was very impressed. So I put my order in for 5.30 and it was bang on time. The service was lovely the food was amazing will defo be going thet for food absoultely fantastic job well done

Elaahi tandoori is an amazing takeaway, I eat from here at least once a week, if you order online you get a 10% discount on every order, and they are always giving offers on meals, the food is incredible, I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves there Indian cuisine, would definitely recommend the tandoori chicken pathia, sweet and spicy nice amount of heat and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Sat 15 Jun. Food good as ever. Obviously cooked fresh to order. But something had gone badly wrong with timings. Still taking orders when delivery time was 2:15 on an estimate of 1hr. Very poor.

What can I say. The food is great but the waiting times are ridiculous. I ordered food on line at 17.22 hours for a 19.30 pick up on 15th June 2019. I arrived for my order at 19.30 but didn't receive it until 20.25!! This just isn't good enough and it's not the first time l have had to wait but when you give 2 hours notice you would expect your order to be ready. 4 customers asked for their money back while I was waiting. I can safely say that l will never be going to the Elaahi again. Such a shame.

Over our recent orders, we have had to wait upto an hour past our arranged collection time!! Today was our last time ordering, as I sat in there 70 minutes and still no sign of food! Their reply was 5 minutes, over and over again

We always order online for a specific time slot, there is always at least a 40 min waiting time when we get there as its not ready. Tonight I sat waiting for an hour, the food was still not ready and advised it would be another 20 mins, I got my money back and left. If they had informed me when I had arrived it was going to be and hour and 20 min wait I would have left there and then. The food is very nice but the wait is ridiculous. Unfortunately we won't be returning.

AVOID AVOID AVOID....food is average but definitely not worth the horrendous customer service on offer. Waited 45 mins on a Saturday night for food ordered online 1 hour previously. Regular customers get priority which makes the overall wait even longer. DON’T BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME HERE!

Food is superb, register on their website and get 10% off. You can actually watch your food being prepared. Top value. Find it hard to recommend anything , because everything I've had has been brilliant. Very welcoming and helpful staff.

I just fancied a nice take-away curry, however the access to Elaahi Tandoori is up a large step. Large in the sense that I’m in a ♿️ ! … therefore I have to wait outside and attract attention through the window . . !On their website: Their menu is clear and once I selected my items I input them into the online ordering site “dogglebox.co.uk” which is linked directly to their website.A nice 10% reduction for using the online ordering system. Once booked the system sends an email confirmation to your email address.Two observations: The Owner & Staff are very nice ad accommodating, bringing my meal outside to me; outside is ruddy cold and any wait undesirable. The lack of acceptance of Debit or Credit Card transactions makes it very difficult for me personally as I have extreme difficulty handling cash. It would be nice if I could pay in advance of collection.The Curry was very nice, so was the starter I ordered. It comes with a nice box with lettuce and fine strips of carrot with an accompanying dressing.It would be nice to see the building being made disabled friendly, maybe in the future.♿️

Our first visit - great, I recommended it on this website, but the second visit, was nothing like the first, in fact you would think it was a different establishment. I emailed to complain, ignored, then emailed again, not even the courtesy of a reply. Would never go again if they can't have the good manners to reply they obviously don't care about their customers. This second visit was probably from a different chef, as the quality, and portions were nothing like the first visit.

Genuinely the best Indian Take Away in Warrington! Food is always great (and I'm not easily pleased with Indian!) and the service is good. Sometimes there is a slight wait for food but that's due to the fact it's always busy (another reason we get Indian food from there as clearly other people think it's great too!) I also like the way the kitchen is open for you to see the chefs cooking the food! Lovely

Good food and decent prices. The staff and friendly and bubbly. Set menus are varied and offer good value. Dishes are extensive and tasty. When visiting, you get to see the chefs at work through and open-plan layout. Things to note: 1. They don't accept card payments 2. They don't deliver 3. When it's busy, like a Friday night, it can take over 1h 30m to get your order. That being said, it is a great place to order a takeaway from.

Love eating from here. You just know it's going to be flavoursome.

Ordered from here for the first time. I love the way you could watch the kitchen and your food being cooked from scratch. I ate fron the vegan menu and oh my it was delicious! There was nothing wasted when we got home to eat it! Will definately return!

Had a couple of emails off them advertising their menu with discount vouchers so thought we would give them a go. Ordered two winter specials. One with a chicken Korma and the other with chicken sylhetti and a Mumbai grilled chilli chicken starter. All of it was spot on a will definitely be using this place as first choice from now on.

This is the only place I would go to for an Indian take away, expert knowledge of the dishes served, fabulous customer service and good value for money.

WOW, absolutely fantastic Indian cuisine! Best I've had in years. I had the Chicken Nepal with Garlic Rice and Nan Bread. My wife had Chicken Tandoori with Rice and Nan Bread. Although slightly more expensive at 25 pounds, tasting excellent food is well worth it when you're limited to McDonalds for play it safe for food taste consistency. I say this because every time I visit the UK, I can never find quality meals except at local chippys and I'm usually limited to the standard "fish and chips" takeaway meal. Will definitely be visiting again. Thanks for the great dinner!

Sunday 17/6. Was told meal would be an hour when ordering, no problem. Arrived and had to wait an additional 40 mins, should of been told at the start an hour and forty mins loads of people complaining. Then to be told that the meal that I have seen on the side for 20 mins is mine waiting in the bag. Asked why not passed out to get told we did shout out, yes but the wrong name. Get home and only half of the starters in. Shocking customer service.

The staff here are lovely and are more than happy to help you with meal choices if needed. Will be visiting again
