Our favourite local pub. Dog friendly, great food especially gluten free options for coeliac. Had the Christmas menu which was amazing. Great service by the friendly staff no complaints will be returning!

🎄 **A Festive Feast to Remember!** 🎅 It was our first time ditching the kitchen chaos for a Christmas lunch out, and boy, did we strike gold! 🌟 At the Little Manor, we unwrapped a culinary gift that kept on giving. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the warmest holiday cheer—think twinkling lights, festive tunes, and the unmistakable aroma of roasting turkey (and Beef). 🦃 For starters, we dove into a sleigh-load of sumptuous starters that had us jingling all the way to the main course. The main event? A perfectly cooked turkey (and Beef) with all the trimmings that even Santa would be jealous of. The Brussels sprouts? So good they nearly converted our resident sprout-hater. 🥦 But the pièce de résistance was the dessert—a Xmas pud so decadent, we considered asking for Santa's naughty list, just to make sure we weren't indulging too much. 🍫 A special shout out to the staff, who sprinkled their magic all over our experience, making it feel as cozy and special as a night in front of the fire. 🔥 Overall, the Little Manor turned our Christmas lunch into a winter wonderland of culinary delight. A big thank you for making our day sparkle brighter than a Christmas tree!

Spent Christmas Day and it was amazing. So special. The staff were amazing, the food was absolutely unreal and everything was absolutely perfect

Booked a year ago and not cheap at £99 each. All I can say is that it was well worth the wait and certainly no disappointments 3 of us went, including my mum (who’s been poorly and is 96) The food was beautiful and the atmosphere and service the same. Personally I’d prefer to pay the extra for the good quality of menu, presentation and creativity. It was all really lovely, thank you so much. Hope we are all well and good to come back next year 🤞

Visited with friends for a catch up, it was really really busy with it being Xmas, they had a lot of staff so nothing was an issue, we all went for the Sunday lunch, the beef was lovely and the whole dinner really nice but could be improved with more fresh veg instead of what they had, the only fresh veg was green cabbage with a bit of parsnip, I personally like more veg but overall it was lovely and would visit again

Had the pleasure of joining 10 friends for lunch time on Monday 16,12,24 . The Little Manor is a gorgeous old world building with beautiful grounds and beautifully decorated inside. Plenty of staff to cater to the needs of the customers. I ordered the turkey dinner off the main menu. All 11 of us got served together by 3 of the staff after a very enjoyable wait in good company and excellent surroundings. Once given my food I requested english mustard and cranberry sauce. After about 4 to 5 minutes my wife asked another member of staff again who responded straight away . 2 minutes later another member of staff asked is everything ok with the food when I said the roast potatoes didn't taste very nice. The member of staff just turned around and walked off. 3 of us had the turkey dinner all 3 of us didn't like the taste of the potatoes.when the staff came to clear the table one member of staff asked was the food ok for you all . Again I said the potatoes tasted not nice. The member of staff said you should have told us sooner. But I did. Considering the turkey dinner was £21.95 its not the best value for money. And would struggle to recommend this meal to anyone. Also a pint of pepsi max was £4.20 is also not good value for money.

Had a lovely family meal off the Christmas menu. Food was great. Service was brilliant, not sure of her name however we had a younger waitress who said she lives near Runcorn, she was exceptional and made sure we were happy at all times, big thank you to her.

Absolutely superb food. Had turkey with all the trimmings, hubs had cheese potato and onion pie both served with delicious veg. To follow I had sticky toffee pudding and they were good enough to swap the ice cream for custard... delicious delicious delicious. Highly recommended.

Great Sunday lunch in a busy pub with a vibrant buzzing atmosphere.

Couldn’t fault this place. Madly busy, luckily we’d booked a table for late lunch 3.30. Staff excellent, very efficient, didn’t have to wait long for service at any time. Lovely atmosphere. Requested extra gravy and brandy sauce, not a problem. Highly recommend.

Had a great lunch here. Good food, although big portions. Seemed a very popular place for food or a drink. Enjoyable experience.

Went here with some visiting relatives on the off chance we could get a table and the helpful, friendly staff found us one. The Sunday roast beef was excellent, I have never seen my brother in law leave food on his plate before but on this occasion he just couldn't manage it all. I wouldn't say the Little Manor is cheap but always remember you get what you pay for and it was excellent and the service was superb especially considering it was a busy Sunday.

The place are very beautiful. The staff are nice. The food also very delicious. It is a very good place for spending whole afternoon there.

We the soup and pork roulade for starters, all very tasty. The staff checked on allergies which my friend has two and they have a menu online that you can filter out anything with those ingredients in which was very good. They also advised with other side dishes that my friend shouldn't have and where very proactive. We had the lamb roast and the mixed roast both of which where very tasty. For desserts we had the mini desserts and cofee. Everything was very tasty and good portion sizes. This is my third visit and the food and service was consistent which is always very good.

Took friends here from London that were visiting us . And with the added bonus that our little pooch could come with us too was a wonderful surprise. The whole experience was brilliant right from the start. It started when we were shown to our table by a very friendly lady who explained that she had read our booking note, which was wonderful to hear. The food was exceptional, great ingredients, cooked, presented and served perfectly. Cannot recommend highly enough, definitely worth a visit, you won’t be disappointed.

I think this is probably one of the best pubs for food in Warrington. Dog friendly too.

Lunch was excellent a light bite sandwich The lady was lovely, friendly and very helpful I wanted a different sandwich to anything on the menu but nothing was too much trouble and she arranged it for me. Great customer service 10/10

Amazing Sunday roast, good friendly service and a fab selection of beers

My first visit to this Hostelry after recommendation from friends. The food was good and reasonably priced, the service was excellent and surroundings good. There is a choice of eating outdoors inside in the premises or bar area. To be honest I’m pleased we opted for the inside area, it was Friday early evening and the bar area was very noisy , maniac even, with what appeared to be people having finished work and enjoying a well earned drink to start the weekend. Overall the dining experience was good and we will be returning. Well worth the ride out and is situated in some nice rural surroundings. It is a dog friendly premises but only in the bar area. It was also frequented by families with children.

Yet again, a faultless meal and service. Totally clean plates! Sunday Roast is 100% totally recommended, but you will need to book early. Well priced and friendly and helpful staff. Listen to their recommended meals. We did and enjoyed the lot!

Cracking pub with large beer garden and field opposite to let dogs/kids on

I meet with my friend annually and we always meet here. From the start it wasn’t great as we had been placed in the bar and not the restaurant as we had booked. Rowdy people were around us. I had the crispy beef salad and it was so poor. It was like a bag of Tesco iceberg lettuce had been poured on to the plate, with a couple of hard pieces of dried fruit, cold hard beef. The noise got so loud we were going to ask to move but no one came to see us. So we decided to move to the other side and told a member of staff. The member of staff that originally served us came over and said I will have to swap your tab to this table. We said that was fine and was an irrelevant comment to make. We were then ignored for the rest of the evening, no one came over to ask for drink or if we wanted dessert. Our once a year meet up was ruined. The young waiter who we called over was professional and courteous. They did not charge us for the £17 salad. So disappointed by what should have been a relaxing evening which turned out to be anything but.

Just had lunch at the Little Manor for the first time in a while. Have to say it was simply the best experience we’ve ever had here (not that it’s ever been poor). From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and looked after impeccably, despite turning up on a busy Sunday afternoon without a reservation. The greeting was great The service was simply excellent - extremely efficient without ever feeling too ‘evasive’ (some pubs and restaurants just can’t get this right?!) The food was fantastic and arrived in good time. When glasses were nearing empty we were asked if we would like another drink. The ambience was just right despite the place being absolutely rammed with families (some other pubs are just too noisy!) Seriously, we couldn’t fault the Little Manor and we will definitely return again in the near future. Thank you!

Beautiful grounds, cosy and comfortable inside. Me, my husband and our 2 children (3, 5) visited the pub for a last minute late lunch. We didn't book prior to arrival and there was no problem with seating us and we were warmly welcomed. We placed our food order which was by the waiter coming to our table. We ordered our drinks at the bar. The food was amazing (steak burger, fillet steak sandwich, 2x kids pizzas). We decided to have dessert (Chocolate Brownie and Sticky toffee pudding). The chocolate brownie was honestly the best I've ever had!! There wasn't a wait for our food. A really lovely waitress called Alison served our food and she was so lovely and friendly and really made our visit!! She interacted with our two children and made a big effort to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy. Alison is a credit to the team and we will definitely be back to visit again. Thank you for a really enjoyable lunch.

Lovely place for lunch, dog friendly, super helpful staff and amazing food. They are exceptional for gluten free options and my coeliac husband has never been ill after eating here which if you are coeliac you will understand is rare!

I go here every now and again as the food is delicious, the food will never let you down. The pub is clean, tidy, wheel chair accessible and dog friendly. The staff are really friendly as well. On my last visit (4 of us) the place was busy but food was being sent out at a decent speed. We waited a good 40 minutes for the main meals, there were people who sat down after us and ordered food after us and we still had a long wait. We brushed it off as the food was lovely. We saw the pub wasn't as busy so ordered dessert... this took about 45 minutes for some reason, again tables who sat down and ordered after us got their food first. When we finally got our desserts we didn't even get a "thanks for your patience" or "sorry about the wait" nothing. We ate our desserts, paid and left. I've never had such slow service before even when it wasn't too busy. I will go back but won't be for a while as between 4 of us we spent about £140 quid and the food service was so slow! It was really disappointing with such large wait times and zero acknowledgement from the staff. The staff are lovely though but it would be ideal if the customers were advised about long wait times and why as we couldn't figure it out how 3 tables got their mains and were half way through eating them (they ordered after we did) before we got out food. They do have parking there as well and if it's really busy it may be difficult to find a spot. That's not a bad thing though as it shows how popular they are.

I've not been here for a long time but booked for food on Friday evening. All the staff went above and beyond to provide the best service, they were friendly and attentive (but not in an annoying way!) which really added to my experience. The menu has a great selection, including vegan and vegetarian and was hard to choose what to order. Food was fabulous, tasty and wholesome portions. After food we sat outside in the lovely beer garden/terrace. 100% recommend this place.

Love this place - it's my "go to place' for a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. - A dog friendly pub/restaurant. They even have doggy treats on offer. Don't have a dog myself, but I am more than happy to sit with people who have their dogs with them as they are usually relaxed themselves and behaving nicely. Large gardens to sit when the sun finally comes out, and it had a large carpark. You could find cheaper, but the prices that you pay, reflect the quality of the food presented. Delicious!!!!!

Nice selection of my fave tipple - rum 🥃Great pub to take the family. if you have young ones there a fab little tractor the kids can play on and a nice little park to the back of the pub which is great and perfect for a walk before and after food. Great pub nestled in Thelwall village. Part of Brunning & Price offerings. Plenty of room with extensive outdoor seating, being in Warrington its a little less sniffy than say the Pant-y-Ochain or Grosvenor but the decor and excellent service are there. Food was delicious and well presented. As with others they do welcome dogs (in a defined area), so it’s on our list for a lunchtime return.

Went as a group of 5 for a family birthday for Sunday lunch. Place was very busy, I'm glad we had booked. Menu was as per other B&P pubs, nice enough but quite costly (£260 for 4x A, 1x C). Dog friendly. Plenty of parking. Didn't read the wine list as I was driving. Husband was the only one drinking, he had two pints of Hawkshead bitter. A nice meal but too expensive to go regularly.

The Little Manor is BIG on service..!!The food, service and setting is simply fabulous, and from the moment our pre-planned visit of over 25 Porsches for our monthly summertime car meet arrived, nothing was too much trouble for the excellent team of chefs and waiting on staff. All of our group had an excellent evening and if invited, will certainly be coming again. Whether or not you want a larger family group dinner or a more intimate dinner for two, I can thoroughly recommend this very traditional pub, with a great selection of beers and wines, 0% choices and of course a traditional menu with some modern twists. Excellent on all levels. Thank you all so much.

We called in for an evening meal after visiting the Woodland Alpaca Farm that afternoon. The restaurant is a little gem. The food was nicely prepared and tastefully presented. The staff were attentive and the restaurant is charming and clean. The price of the food was reasonable for the quality. There is ample car parking, and a lovely beer garden. We look forward to a return visit

Came for a Fathers day meal, place was very busy yet the service was first class, and the food was fast and excellent. Really impressed. Thanks again guys, will be back soon.

Had a lovely meal this evening 17/06/24 to celebrate Father’s Day, our wedding anniversary and our son finishing high school service was exceptional all staff are friendly and attentive without being intrusive, starters and desserts were excellent as were drinks mains were a little hit and miss my sons and my husbands were lovely mine was not really to my taste unfortunately probably personal choice but I’ve never had quiche that tasted like that all the same everything else was lovely especially the desserts

Found this gorgeous pub online quite by chance and luckily they had a table for an early Sunday lunch. The decor is both beautiful and comfortable. The servers were really friendly and helpful and although they were busy we did not feel rushed. The food was beautifully presented and was so delicious - good size portions too!! We could not fault anything but have to make special mention of the summer pudding which was absolutely top notch - I've never had better. If you're looking for a charming pub with a large beer garden then I can totally recommend The Little Manor. We will definitely be back if we pass through this area again 👍

Brunning and Price pubs provide a consistently quality eating experience. All the pubs in the chain follow the same principles. Great food, service and atmosphere.

A welcoming, well run eatery with great local real ales

Go here all the time, great food and vibe, staff can't do enough for you but not in an annoying way. After our visit (2 of us) we got 2 vouchers and when you get 6 vouchers you get £12 off a meal, subject to terms and conditions, Monday to Thursday. We went Thursday and it was really busy, great atmosphere and we used our vouchers from previous visits for the discount.

We had a wonderful night at the cheese and wine evening, the wines were great and all paired with delicious cheeses, and lovely nibbles, Rachel the wine expert was excellent at describing the wines along with lots of background information, Anna our host for the evening was very welcoming and helped to make it an enjoyable evening

Excellent location very friendly staff superb place

Lovely area, service was great even it was busy. The food was great however the potatoes were maybe left a little too long and the crispy parts of the potatoes became chewy instead of crispy. The sticky toffee pudding was great and had a perfect amount of sweetness. The option to have mini crème brûlée was amazing and enough for me with an espresso. I had the liver latte as a starter and it was a massive portion, didn’t expect it.

Excellent food, we really enjoyed. Very impressed with the quality and choice of the gluten free item. I especially like the gf onion rings. Service was a little slow on a very busy Saturday evening but very understandable. Our waitress was very helpful. We will be back.
