Just had lunch at the Little Manor for the first time in a while. Have to say it was simply the best experience we’ve ever had here (not that it’s ever been poor). From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and looked after impeccably, despite turning up on a busy Sunday afternoon without a reservation. The greeting was great The service was simply excellent - extremely efficient without ever feeling too ‘evasive’ (some pubs and restaurants just can’t get this right?!) The food was fantastic and arrived in good time. When glasses were nearing empty we were asked if we would like another drink. The ambience was just right despite the place being absolutely rammed with families (some other pubs are just too noisy!) Seriously, we couldn’t fault the Little Manor and we will definitely return again in the near future. Thank you!

Beautiful grounds, cosy and comfortable inside. Me, my husband and our 2 children (3, 5) visited the pub for a last minute late lunch. We didn't book prior to arrival and there was no problem with seating us and we were warmly welcomed. We placed our food order which was by the waiter coming to our table. We ordered our drinks at the bar. The food was amazing (steak burger, fillet steak sandwich, 2x kids pizzas). We decided to have dessert (Chocolate Brownie and Sticky toffee pudding). The chocolate brownie was honestly the best I've ever had!! There wasn't a wait for our food. A really lovely waitress called Alison served our food and she was so lovely and friendly and really made our visit!! She interacted with our two children and made a big effort to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy. Alison is a credit to the team and we will definitely be back to visit again. Thank you for a really enjoyable lunch.

Lovely place for lunch, dog friendly, super helpful staff and amazing food. They are exceptional for gluten free options and my coeliac husband has never been ill after eating here which if you are coeliac you will understand is rare!

I've not been here for a long time but booked for food on Friday evening. All the staff went above and beyond to provide the best service, they were friendly and attentive (but not in an annoying way!) which really added to my experience. The menu has a great selection, including vegan and vegetarian and was hard to choose what to order. Food was fabulous, tasty and wholesome portions. After food we sat outside in the lovely beer garden/terrace. 100% recommend this place.

Love this place - it's my "go to place' for a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. - A dog friendly pub/restaurant. They even have doggy treats on offer. Don't have a dog myself, but I am more than happy to sit with people who have their dogs with them as they are usually relaxed themselves and behaving nicely. Large gardens to sit when the sun finally comes out, and it had a large carpark. You could find cheaper, but the prices that you pay, reflect the quality of the food presented. Delicious!!!!!

Lovely traditional country pub. Sunday lunch is simply delicious and one of the best you find around. Nice selection of my fave tipple - rum 🥃Great pub to take the family. if you have young ones there a fab little tractor the kids can play on and a nice little park to the back of the pub which is great and perfect for a walk before and after food. Lovely friendly atmosphere and stuff really nice. Highly recommend for food, drinks Sunday lunch and good ol night in the pub

Great pub nestled in Thelwall village. Part of Brunning & Price offerings. Plenty of room with extensive outdoor seating, being in Warrington its a little less sniffy than say the Pant-y-Ochain or Grosvenor but the decor and excellent service are there. Food was delicious and well presented. As with others they do welcome dogs (in a defined area), so it’s on our list for a lunchtime return.

Went as a group of 5 for a family birthday for Sunday lunch. Place was very busy, I'm glad we had booked. Menu was as per other B&P pubs, nice enough but quite costly (£260 for 4x A, 1x C). Dog friendly. Plenty of parking. Didn't read the wine list as I was driving. Husband was the only one drinking, he had two pints of Hawkshead bitter. A nice meal but too expensive to go regularly.

The Little Manor is BIG on service..!!The food, service and setting is simply fabulous, and from the moment our pre-planned visit of over 25 Porsches for our monthly summertime car meet arrived, nothing was too much trouble for the excellent team of chefs and waiting on staff. All of our group had an excellent evening and if invited, will certainly be coming again. Whether or not you want a larger family group dinner or a more intimate dinner for two, I can thoroughly recommend this very traditional pub, with a great selection of beers and wines, 0% choices and of course a traditional menu with some modern twists. Excellent on all levels. Thank you all so much.

We called in for an evening meal after visiting the Woodland Alpaca Farm that afternoon. The restaurant is a little gem. The food was nicely prepared and tastefully presented. The staff were attentive and the restaurant is charming and clean. The price of the food was reasonable for the quality. There is ample car parking, and a lovely beer garden. We look forward to a return visit

Had our wedding reception there, my god what a fantastic time food was awesome service was awesome, staff were awesome all in all the whole experience was awesome. Came for a Fathers day meal, place was very busy yet the service was first class, and the food was fast and excellent. Really impressed. Thanks again guys, will be back soon.

Had a lovely meal this evening 17/06/24 to celebrate Father’s Day, our wedding anniversary and our son finishing high school service was exceptional all staff are friendly and attentive without being intrusive, starters and desserts were excellent as were drinks mains were a little hit and miss my sons and my husbands were lovely mine was not really to my taste unfortunately probably personal choice but I’ve never had quiche that tasted like that all the same everything else was lovely especially the desserts

Found this gorgeous pub online quite by chance and luckily they had a table for an early Sunday lunch. The decor is both beautiful and comfortable. The servers were really friendly and helpful and although they were busy we did not feel rushed. The food was beautifully presented and was so delicious - good size portions too!! We could not fault anything but have to make special mention of the summer pudding which was absolutely top notch - I've never had better. If you're looking for a charming pub with a large beer garden then I can totally recommend The Little Manor. We will definitely be back if we pass through this area again 👍

Brunning and Price pubs provide a consistently quality eating experience. All the pubs in the chain follow the same principles. Great food, service and atmosphere.

A welcoming, well run eatery with great local real ales

Go here all the time, great food and vibe, staff can't do enough for you but not in an annoying way. After our visit (2 of us) we got 2 vouchers and when you get 6 vouchers you get £12 off a meal, subject to terms and conditions, Monday to Thursday. We went Thursday and it was really busy, great atmosphere and we used our vouchers from previous visits for the discount.

We had a wonderful night at the cheese and wine evening, the wines were great and all paired with delicious cheeses, and lovely nibbles, Rachel the wine expert was excellent at describing the wines along with lots of background information, Anna our host for the evening was very welcoming and helped to make it an enjoyable evening

Staff were polite and friendly , mains and desserts was exceptional , Highly recommended

Excellent location very friendly staff superb place

Lovely area, service was great even it was busy. The food was great however the potatoes were maybe left a little too long and the crispy parts of the potatoes became chewy instead of crispy. The sticky toffee pudding was great and had a perfect amount of sweetness. The option to have mini crème brûlée was amazing and enough for me with an espresso. I had the liver latte as a starter and it was a massive portion, didn’t expect it.

A dog owners haven. Children welcome to but some are extremely loud and not supervised by parents. Just want a relaxing drink. Won't be going again.

Excellent food, we really enjoyed. Very impressed with the quality and choice of the gluten free item. I especially like the gf onion rings. Service was a little slow on a very busy Saturday evening but very understandable. Our waitress was very helpful. We will be back.

I have had many good meals and experiences at Brunning and Price establishments . This was the best of a very good bunch ! Excellent food and friendly , helpful and efficient staff . An all round winner .

We have 4 Brunning and Price pubs in the area and visit them all dependent upon how far we feel like travelling. They have a friendly policy whereby at the conclusion of each visit you receive 2 vouchers towards the cost of future visits. 6 vouchers give you a £12 pound discount on your meal and drinks bill within a Monday to Thursday period each week. Last night we decided on the Little Manor. We were greeted and shown to a nice table, drinks were ordered and food was ordered. When the food arrived it was obvious that my pie and mash had been standing and had probably been blitzed in the microwave before serving, as both the mash and the gravy had a skin on. I'm not a complainer as we vote with our feet and don't go back to pubs who offer poor service. The meal was ok and edible apart from a withered carrot that I decided not to risk. My wife's food was good, so no complaints about the crispy beef salad. Asked for and paid the bill and then the surprise. The waitress gave us one voucher instead of the usual 2! When we mentioned it she said it was because we had one meal taken off with the 6 vouchers we gave to attract the discount. Which by the way was quite a bit lower than the cost of either meal. If this is a new policy of Brunning and Price, which in my view is wrong, then they will no longer be able to rely on our custom.

We came here tonight and the service from Jayne is amazing she was excellent from when we came in to when we was going Food was 10/10 We both got the steak burgers and they was highly recommend, I've worked in pubs before and I've never tasted a better Meal than that

I am running out of things to day about the Little Manor. Food was great as usual. I had the crispy beef salad, delicious. Staff wonderful, always good value for an excellent meal. Would highly recommend, but make sure you book.

Great pub with a cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious, I had the plant based option which was an Indian style cottage pie. Bombay aloo topping with Dahl filling, onion bahji and salad with red pickled onions and cucumber spears. The dessert was chocolate torte with raspberry coolis and sorbet. This pub is a dog lovers paradise as we counted at least 10 dogs in the evening we were there. Service was very good but desert came out a little slow. Definitely will try again when I'm up north!

Bedroom smells very musty. Could not have stayed another night curtain rails ancient! Dirty shower head Breakfast brilliant won't be back though due to the,awful smell in the room

Experience was very much ruined by being told before we sat down that we could only have the table for 1hr 45 mins, despite their booking terms quoting longer. Sure to their word we were brought our bill at 1hr 45 mins .... my friend hadn't finished her coffee and had we wanted starter, main, desert and then coffee there was no way we would have had time. The staff couldn't have dealt with that quick enough. Whilst I appreciate venues have to maximize through put when they can, they really should stick to their own booking terms. Leaves a very bad lasting impression. Although the waitress who brought our bill was apologetic, the manager who stated this before he seated us was not.

This was the first time we had been to this pub, and it was amazing. The choice of food and the quality was excellent. The service was fast and the staff were very friendly. It was a little busy as it was the weekend so I would recommend booking before you go. I would highly recommend the Little Manor, and we will definitely be visiting again.

I have been to Little Manor many times and loved every visit. As someone with coeliac disease and therefore have to eat gluten free, the choice is amazing. I get to enjoy pub food, with my family. The service is always fantastic, truly. Friendly and lovely atmosphere. Our go to place despite being a bit of a drive for us, it worth it.

What a gem! The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. It was so nice to have several gluten free options to choose from on the menu. We opted for the pie and mash, and the fish and chips. Both of which were very tasty and beautifully presented. We will definitely be calling again when next in Warrington.

I have just had the most fantastic meal out with my family at the Little Manor in Thelwall. As recommended by my partner, who had been several times before, we were treated to the friendliest service. All the staff were proficient and enjoying the jobs, which gave a great vibe to the experience. The menu was varied and gave everyone tough decisions on which to choose; the food was awe-inspiring in appearance and taste. I would give more stars, but five is the max. Thank you so much for a beautiful evening. I would recommend and return.

Had a great meal with the family, got given a great table and everyone was very accommodating of a young child and our larger group. Connor was a brilliant host and looked after us well alongside the rest of the staff. Everything came to us quickly. The food was impressive, Sunday roasts with generous meat portions and the burgers got great reviews! Everything cooked to perfection. Will certainly be returning soon!

I love it in here. There's a great atmosphere, fantastic for dietary requirements. The food is well presented and very tasty. I always feel really good food shouldn't need anything adding (salt, pepper etc). Little manor the condiments stayed in the holder for the whole table.

As a family we enjoy a meal together at LM every few months. Usual lovely food and service, but we wouldn’t sit at the window large table in the bar on the right again. Far too noisy and it spoilt the ambience and we were raised voices to hold a conversation.i think for larger groups (5 of us) the restaurant areas away from the noisy bar should’ve been gone first choice. We also booked 2 weeks in advance

After reading reviews on here decided to celebrate my friends 50th birthday here. Noted the review about always being out of the feathered beef so asked for 3 to be reserved when we booked and glad we did. It was delicious, rich and tasty. Good service and atmosphere, will definitely return.

Lunched at The Little Manor yesterday with my husband and children. Husband and I had Bang Bang Pork for starters which was out of this world. For main I had the pork belly roast (roulade) and my husband had the beef roast. Both thoroughly enjoyed our mains and the food was cooked and presented to perfection! Service was efficient and staff were brilliant with our children. Such a popular and cosy place to lunch. Thanks Little Manor - keep up the great work xx

They never had any of the featherd beef left, waitress only told us after we ordered it 4 of us ordered it, 3 of the party then ordered fish and chips, by the way this the 3rd time that they have ran out of the featherd beef. The fish was nice but the chips were Frozen the waitress told us they were, all 3 who had the fish and chips got heart burn in the night, its a shame a restaurant like the Little Manor uses Frozen Chips it wasn't a cheap meal it cost us Over £240 for The Food and drinks

Always consistent, went with my mum today for a quick lunch – really nice. Served as requested, quickly and efficiently and very fresh. More expensive than the neighbours, but worth it 🤩

Staff and service was fantastic and attentive, the menu has a wide variety of choice along with plenty of GF Options which you wouldn’t know the difference! The foods always great and sometimes the portions on the certain meals can be varied. The price is a 4/5 with it being on the slightly higher end but you’ll never leave disappointed as they always deliver.

We had a lovely meal. All the food was amazing. The service was very good. It was a lovely pub with a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend for a nice meal.

Average food, very small servings and overpriced. Flavourless sticky toffee pudding with a very frugal serving of ice cream for everyone. Cozy Interior decoration but ultimately just disappointing. Staff were also a bit uptight.

We haven't been here for some time but decided to stop by on the way back from our walk on Boxing day. We got a table straight away, the place was busy but not crammed, great atmosphere. Lovely service, we got served quickly and the food was amazing. My husband had the pork belly, said it was the best pork he ever ate and I had the jackfruit curry. It was very delicious. We both had the white chocolate cheesecake for dessert and enjoyed it very much. It was a treat because it's a little pricey but well worth it. Highly recommend the Little Manor. We will visit again soon
