The best restaurants serving British food in Grappenhall and Thelwall Warrington North West

Not sure how to write this review as I was born here in 1955 when it was a maternity hospital. So here I am back here after 69 years. Eeek!! What a brilliant restaurant. Prague and Hannah are amazing and the food is also superb. What a great date night with my beautiful wife.

We have eaten here a few times recently. The service was excellent. Friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The halloumi “fish and chips” is so tasty. The sticky salt and pepper halloumi is delicious. My husband’s fish and chips was enormous and he enjoyed every mouthful. He also enjoyed the burger. It’s a small team of staff who work hard. Every one of the staff is friendly and welcoming. It’s a busy village pub which serves delicious food. I’d recommend booking.

Kieran couldn't do enough for us. He was so attentive even though it was mega busy. He managed to rearrange the booked tables so that the whole crowd was sat together. Totally recommend.
