The best restaurants in Stepping Hill Stockport North West

Good size and thickness of fish. Chips were nicely cooked and still soft. Not the cheapest but definitely one of the best in the area. Definitely worth the extra cost for size and quality. Usually cut the fish in half and get two meals out of it with a round of bread and mushy peas.

Beautiful dinner from start to finish, lovely ambience and would definitely visit again when back in Macclesfield.

Really really good food but noone in there when we went don't be fooled just because it's quiet the food is amazing! Fed all 7 of us and every dish was incredible

Great value and lovely food. Mains are all less than £10 including rice. Starters cost up to £6, but most are less. Drinks include a large bottle of Singha or Tiger for £4.50. We had starters and main for 5 and it cost just over £80. Excellent value and very friendly staff.

the Cajun rice had no taste I did not eat it, the bun on my burger was wet and sloppy had to throw bun in the bin and the chips was tasteless and expensive not worth the money .

Will cook, can't cook, needs a chef, everything over cooked, no way is the guy chucking stuff over heat a trained chef or even just a chef is a stretch, tables uniformly set out, nice to see cleaning stuff in the corner next to industrial steel table, ruins the woody look its failing to achieve, sorry but to anyone that knows food it is pretty awful, staff nice enough though.

We booked here for afternoon tea for my friends baby shower. The staff were so attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely gorgeous. Thank you to who I think was the manager (blonde hair in a ponytail) for helping us to the car with our stuff after. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a freshly made and scrumptious afternoon tea! 🍰☕

My partner just tried to order 2 pizzas and starters and the young lad on the phone was simply rude, his phone manner and choice of words need a little refining, accused my partner of 'talking over him' and he 'couldn't get a word in' actually hilarious really and she was gobsmacked, but it's just cost them £35 and any other future orders!

It was a bit quiet but the food and staff were great

First time visiting and I asked what was recommended on the menu for a family with 2 kids and was recommended the jerk chicken well obviously I didn’t want to order 4 so asked for a variety of things to get home and realise it’s all different flavoured meats yes but then covered in the same sauce so it ruined the whole meal for us all we asked for something that’s not spiced and the sauce was way way too hot so the £50 order has just ended up in the bin. We are extremely disappointed because on top of that they didn’t give us veg which we asked for which probably would have given it a bit of a better vibe. Unfortunately I’ll not be visiting this establishment again which is a real shame.
