Great food with even better service!

such a shame! been coming here for months an months and always fantastic. this time really bad. 1 lamb & 1 mix kebab with nan ordered. just chicken turned up. none of the sauces we requested were on the kebabs. Kebabs wrapped in the nan, so by time it gets to us it’s soaking wet dripping from the carrier bag. had to leave it as it’s borderline inedible. shame because i know they’re usually amazing and made fresh! chicken we did get was cold & very Gristly…very unhappy

Passing by decided to stop in, we ending up eating in service was really good the meat was beautiful the naan was extremely good not to thick, everything was delicious , staff really friendly also, one of the best I've had in a long time, also the right amount of salad no scrimpping, defiantly will go bk again for a takeaway the service eating in there was really good, we felt we had just ate out

Was a nice surprise on this very busy road!a friend brought me to show typical Kurdish Shawarma!very clean and quiet atmosphere,staff was really helpful and friendly!will come back for sure.

I have ordered from here in the past and the food has arrived hot. Today it was cold. Also, there was an option to choose salad/sauce on the meals with chips. Not anymore. I put the request in the comment section & it was ignored. Gutted as it’s usually amazing!

Been sampling various Shwarma places round Manchester area and this has been the tastiest so far. Chicken Shwarma and Doner mixed naan for £5.50, great fresh toppings, nicely cooked doner and a good handful of the old pickled chillies. Superb.

The food was absolutely great. The lamb shawarma is so tasty and the samoon so fresh

I had extremely high hopes for this and I was extremely disappointed the chips were soggy tge chicken was full of gristle and the donner was quite possibly the worst ive ever had the majority went in the bin I will not be returning

Best Kebab shop around! Fantastic food, great value & top staff!

Incorrect order and bad quality. We ordered mix shawarma fataya, and the mixed shawarma with fries and yoghurt mint sauce. Instead we got mixed shawarma calzone and the other had mayonnaise instead of mint yoghurt. The shawarma was way too greasy in both and I found 3 small bones in the calzone before we gave up and threw it in the bin. Very disappointing.

Incredible little kebab/shawarma place in Great Moor. Really great prices compared to everything else around. Usually always a decent level of busy no matter the time of day. food is cooked fresh, and usually takes around 10-20 mins - so be prepared for a minor wait, as i dont think you can order in advance. Id say a minor issue is that it closes too early, especially on Friday and Saturday - as its usually closed by 10pm. Kebabs, Calzones, Pizzas and Fatayers are all incredible.

I have been wanting to try this place since it opened, and knew it would not disappoint, the number of regulars, police and the queue outside most weekends gives how good it is away a bit. Fresh naan, lovely crisp salad items, but had ran out of hummus. I will definitely be back. Said I would do you a good review. Keep up the good work.

If I could give minus stars I would. Complete wrong order delivered when I called takeaway to tell them they just said ring just eat. Will not be using again and will tell anyone else not to bother either.

Been recommended this newish kebab shop in my town for having the best kebabs. For £5 I got a donner kebab on naan with salad and asked for mint yoghurt sauce. Upon opening the kebab I was met by the most harsh pickle smell. The red cabbage and all salad was covered in vineager or pickling, the mint yoghurt I would say was sour cream with a few herbs in it which made the whole kebab sour, the naan was soggy because of all the vineager, there was a big jalapeño pickle placed on top and lots of sliced gherkins which in turn added to the sour flavour, I couldn't start it let alone finish it. I think all those added pickles and extras shouldn't be added unless you check wether the customer wants that . The peri chips were nice. My partner had chicken shawarma which was very smokey in taste which wasn't for me, he found a big bone in the shredded chicken which can happen. It came with two naan breads and salad which wasn't pickled. He was full and enjoyed it. This place is not for me! Although saying this the price is reasonable and probably meets others needs and likes but just not mine

We got take out! Service very unfriendly. This is personal opinion but too much meat v salad for my liking and the meat was pretty fatty.

Got my whole order wrong!.. not happy I don’t BBQ and they NEVER have lamb which is ALWAYS disappointing

Absolutely delicious chicken shawarma.

Savoury Shawarma is a great addition to Hazel Grove food scene and their shawarmas are as good as any in the Manchester area. Friendly service awaits the customers. However, on my recent visit when I did eat in, the cleanliness of the place and in particular the floor where food preparation behind the front counter needs attention. Just a quick brush on the floor ever hour will be sufficient.

ABSOLUTE JOKE, TRYING TO BLAME DELIVEROO! I RANG THEM AS I TRIED TO ORDER VIA THEIR WEBSITE. I WAS TOLD TO ORDER BY DELIVEROO. I TRIED THAT, ABSOLUTELY NO JOY. Usually really good food from here but the lamb was uneatable and chicken not a great deal better. Really bad flavour and texture. Unfortunately won't be coming back.

Ran out of Lamb shawarma so had to go with chicken, no crime commited so I had a delicious Succulent meal.

This is a wonderful place. My wife and I have been here more than once, the service, quality and taste have always been excellent. But today, 14/06/2024, a new guy was preparing shawarma and my portion was at least two times different from my wife’s, it was even visually visible. At the same time, my wife’s shawarma immediately fell apart and she had to finish it from a napkin... Please do something with your new young chef, we would really like to come back again!

Proof of the quality is the number of people queuing out of the building at the weekend.

Nothing fascinating about this shawarma. It was ok. Chicken was a bit dry. Quite interesting salad. Lots of pickled veggies.

I've been to many shawarma places around the UK. This one is my favourite shawarma, HIGHLY recommend. Service is always incredibly slow which puts me off coming. Boss man, if you're reading this, I beg you stop serving pizza and fatayar, this slows you down, we mainly want the shawarma and would appreciate faster service.

A Flavorful Shawarma Experience! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Savoury Shawarma in Stockport, and let me tell you—it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped in, the tantalizing aroma of perfectly seasoned meats wafted through the air, promising a culinary adventure.

Original delivery time was 8:20 to 8:45. Was called at 8:35 to say cannot do Fatiyer because of oven problem, substituted fine but was very late notice considering when order submitted. Order arrived 9pm but ordered 3x mixed samun kebabs and none had any donner meat all were chicken only so we’re over charged for mixed when got chicken only??? Not happy and service usually much better from here.

I use these guys a lot and usually excellent, however in this occasion the food was cold, sadly.

I ordered a separate extra chilli sauce, as my daughter and I like it. my husband doesn't...all of them had chilli sauce on. Nice food bit attention to detail please.

I cannot believe a collection order was wrong!!! Mixed kebab with chips and I get nan 😡!! I only went to this place because Red Cherry only accepted cash! Terrible service from both takeaways

The amount of meat in the order was minimal, I did not ask for salad but that was predominantly what I received. Previous orders have been great but this one was extremely poor. Hope I get a better meal next time.

A1, better than the competition in Stockport, fresh, quality meat. My wife ordered a standard Vegi pizza, it came with chillies on, so she had to remove them. Lovely food, though...

Gorgeous food for a low price, kebabs are very flavoursome and only cost £4-5 with the bread made fresh in front of you. 10 inch pizzas available for just £4 too, by far the best I have had for that price, would definitely recommend.

Finally got around to trying Savoury Shawarma, and so glad I did (and mildly barked that I didn't try it sooner!) Very friendly welcome, place is spotless, and best of all the good is delicious. Fresh ingredients, succulent meat, pillow-soft naans, and piping hot, crispy (but not too crispy) fries on the side. We will definitely be back (very soon I suspect). Thanks guys!

Really tasty chicken shawarma and lovely bread - best that I've had in Stockport. Delivered on time. My only criticism is lack of options to customise your order on Just Eat. I had to add sauce choices to delivery notes and forgot to explicitly ask for salad - and, sadly, the shawarma sandwiches didn't have this as standard.

Definitely a great shawarma spot. Really nice food. They need to fix the menu, I ordered mix fatayer and got naan. After checking just eat it doesn’t say fatayer so staff didn’t make a mistake. Please fix for future orders

Fantastic shawarma at bargain prices. I had he mixed shawarma, served on bread straight out of the oven. The lamb and chicken were full of flavour. Top quality for a fiver.

I've eaten from here many times and the food was great on every occasion. The shawarma meat is spiced very nicely and the people are very friendly. Definitely going to be going back again. The falafel is great.
