We love ordering from here. The food is always amazing and the staff are amazing. Our favourite place for a take out. We’ve had some brilliant food in house too. Can’t recommend enough

No idea where the order is. Ring the restaurant and it’s either busy or rings then hangs up! Usually a very good experience with this restaurant but not today. I hope the food arrives soon but I’ve little too no hope at this moment in time

Food great when it arrived, but 2 hours 20 minutes for delivery is an insult. Shouldn’t accept the order if you’re too busy.

Took over two hours for delivery but worth the wait

Delivery was pre booked at 4 for a 5.45 delivery slot it turned up at 6.38 no salad and buts of lemon in the bag either after spending over £50 every other time there has been.

Tried zulaika as previously had an outstanding meal and recommended to friends, tonight’s £60 order tastes completely reheated, dripping in grease and at most room temperature. Even the poppadoms were stale. Will not be returning and furious we’ve spent a special occasion and a lot of money on a waste.

Shocking. Placed delivery order, time stated was 55-60 minutes. 2 hrs later food not delivered. Only to be told when chased the food hadn’t even left the restaurant.

Normally the delivery is ok but we’ve notice the last few times we have ordered it’s taking longer and longer. We are currently sat waiting for food after waiting 2 hrs. Such a shame.

Every part of food was shocking frozen chicken and stale onion bhajis absolutely awful

Took nearly 3 hours to arrive and when i eventually did receive it was stone cold! Don’t bother😡

The driver was friendly, the food was hot and delicious. The onion bhajis were truly special! The madras was perfectly spicy, rich and flavourful, and the biryani was fresh, moist and vibrant. 10/10 will be ordering from here again- thank you Zulaika!

I placed my order at 1845, the order was accepted, not delivered, more annoyingly there was no contact from restaurant and no answer when I phoned repeatedly between 9 and 930pm

The food I did receive was nice my Biryani with Rogan Josh sauce and mixed starter all flavorsome and tender, disappointed in service they forgot my special Naan not end of world but called to ask them to refund as pointless sending it later as ate the curry so didn't go cold, they said they would sort the £6 refund but haven't done, food was good and delivery time fine, not overly worried bout £6 but on principle they should have refunded as they advised they would

Just had a takeaway delivery. It was delicious, beautifully spiced, fresh and tasty. Delivered in time (a bit early) we have eaten in there loads, first delivery did not disappoint. Thank you

As Indian restaurants go, I would say this one is around average. It's not the best, but it's OK. I have eaten at far worse places. However, they often have a 25% reduction offer(on food only), and as a result, it saves a few pounds. The staff are friendly, accommodating, and professional. The curries are always nice, but the sundries are sometimes a bit hit and miss. On one occasion, the poppadoms were stale whilst on another visit the keema naan didn't taste right. However, the onion bagees are always spot on. I would also recommend the vegetable fried rice. The drinks are around the standard price with a pint of cobra costing around £5, and a diet coke around £3.25. In all, given the special offers, I would recommend a visit. You can just walk in, but on the busier nights(fri-sun), it would be prudent to make a reservation first.

Absolute disgrace. Just over half the order arrived an hour and half late and was freezing. Spoken to resteraunt and got put on hold so he could answer another phone and take an order. Really rude. Food was disgusting. Please avoid at all cost people

Food was excellent only thing I would say is I didn’t find the yogurt and salad until after I had finished eating coz it was not in the brown bag but stuffed down the side of the plastic bag so I found it dry but yummy non the less as always

WOW!! Best Indian we’ve ever had (and we’ve tried many!!) Definitely our new regular. Tasty, perfectly cooked and chicken was so tender. Absolutely amazing 👏🏻

Used for a take away. Really wouldn't recommend. Food was OK, but a little bland and a main meal was missing on the delivery. Phoned to report the missing item and ask when it would arrive. Was told I would have to wait for the next driver to come this way and they couldn't say when this would be. Felt like I was being rudely dismissed and the customer service was poor. Had already waited over an hour for the delivery and it was luke warm on arrival. This may be cheaper but would prefer to pay more and get better quality and service.

Ordered a takeaway- haven't been to Zulaika for a few years so thought I'd give a go as it's local to me. I thought I'd try the garlic chicken as I tried this at an Indian restaurant in Failsworth on xmas eve and had a craving ever since, i not to be dramatic but what a disappointment, the chicken was dry and had a weird smell it was nothing like i expected, I know all places probably do things slightly different but I was starving and looking forward to it. I ordered a garlic nan to go with it and this did not taste fresh. Only managed a couple bits of chicken and did not enjoy the texture or smell. Ended up eating the rice with a bit of curry sauce due to my hunger. Would not order from here again based on this unfortunately.

One of the best, if not the best takeaways we've ever had. We ordered on New Year's Eve, it was late to arrive, poppadoms we'd ordered were missing, but it was that good we honestly didn't care. Will definitely be back again (though maybe with a couple of free poppadoms next time?).

This place is our go to curry house! It’s absolutely amazing, recently they’ve had a really good deal on which was even better and brilliant value for money. The food is always hot when it arrives and we’ve now ordered from here multiple times! 100% worth it x

Haven't order from here for a while. Food used to be really authentic and tasty but now it's just bland and boring. Such a shame guess things must have change here.

There food is absolutely gorgeous I’m very funny with how my korma is made and they make it soooo good it’s absolutely delicious so buying again tonight this will be my go to from this place if u haven’t tried the korma id definitely try it as it’s my new favourite 10/10 recommend them

Can't fault the place. There were four of us; two meat eaters, a pescatarian and a vegan (me). We all had plenty of choice, and the food was excellent. Service was good, friendly team, no long waits. Reasonably priced too. Recommended.

Real quality and authentic flavour. Meal deal is great value for money. Free delivery included along with a discount. Very happy overall. Arrived in a timely fashion also.

The food was good as usual but quite a long wait for the delivery and it was not very warm but it did not spoil our dinner. The price was very confusing if we had ordered directly with the restaurant it would have been cheaper and no delivery charge.

On time arguably as the delivery time changed from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. To wait that long but then to have missing items is frustrating, missing the tikka starter and chips which was basically the whole meal for one person who ordered it.

Firsy and last time ordering from here, The food was cold and tasteless, the biryani was poorly made, all time favourite and the worst I’ve had , the poppadoms were stale, they suppose to be hard and crunchy these were soft& floppy. Never again

food was obviously ready a long time before being sent out for delivery! 2 hours wait! the madras sauce has no spice to it and very watery, the massala sauce was a bit watery, chilli paneer had 4 small pieces of paneer... prawn cocktail was warm... onion baijh were soggy, just completely disappointing and won't be ordering from here again

Dry okra. Curry had spice but no depth of flavour. Two different curries bought but the sauce was suspiciously similar. Sweaty pakoras.

First time ordering from Zulaika and the food arrived 45 minutes early. On opening the order we then realised it was completely the wrong order - different starters and mains - two spicy dishes were sent which we couldn’t eat. Phoned and no response.

Food stone cold, inedible, slimy chicken, smelt like it had gone bad, wouldn’t ever order from here ever again

Pakoras were soggy and greasy. The Okra wasn't fresh, looked like it was dried or even deepfried - quite odd anyway. we got two different curries and they were practically the same sauce. Hopefully it'll sit well.

Best curry we've had in a long time, everything was spot on, 6 of us eating and not one negative, absolutely delicious all round
