Good size and thickness of fish. Chips were nicely cooked and still soft. Not the cheapest but definitely one of the best in the area. Definitely worth the extra cost for size and quality. Usually cut the fish in half and get two meals out of it with a round of bread and mushy peas.

Beautiful dinner from start to finish, lovely ambience and would definitely visit again when back in Macclesfield.

I must say it's one of the nicest Italians I have been too in a long time. Food was fantastic and the staff was so pleasant and friendly. I would highly recommend a meal there.

the Cajun rice had no taste I did not eat it, the bun on my burger was wet and sloppy had to throw bun in the bin and the chips was tasteless and expensive not worth the money .

Will cook, can't cook, needs a chef, everything over cooked, no way is the guy chucking stuff over heat a trained chef or even just a chef is a stretch, tables uniformly set out, nice to see cleaning stuff in the corner next to industrial steel table, ruins the woody look its failing to achieve, sorry but to anyone that knows food it is pretty awful, staff nice enough though.

As a Malaysian, I am very disappointed to say that their food lacks the authentic Malaysian taste some diners might expect. While the restaurant is praised for its traditional flavours and quality ingredients in the other reviews, the dishes did not fully capture the essence of Malaysian food. The menu provides a variety of options, yet some dishes may fall short of delivering the genuine Malaysian taste that local Malaysians seek. For example, I have tried their nasi lemak, mee goreng and masak lemak. To start off, although the nasi lemak had the basic components of what a nasi lemak would have, the sambal was not as spicy. Their mee goreng was made with spaghetti/pasta instead of the usual egg noodles that you would usually get at your typical local eatery back in Malaysia. Last but not least, the masak lemak was NOT masak lemak at all. It’s supposed to be a spicy turmeric based curry, instead I received a tomato based sweet curry. That was the biggest disappointment for me as a masak lemak lover. Overall, it's a pleasant spot for a meal, but those looking for an authentic Malaysian experience might find it slightly lacking. I ordered takeaway from this restaurant so I can’t say much about the service and atmosphere.

such a shame! been coming here for months an months and always fantastic. this time really bad. 1 lamb & 1 mix kebab with nan ordered. just chicken turned up. none of the sauces we requested were on the kebabs. Kebabs wrapped in the nan, so by time it gets to us it’s soaking wet dripping from the carrier bag. had to leave it as it’s borderline inedible. shame because i know they’re usually amazing and made fresh! chicken we did get was cold & very Gristly…very unhappy

Lovely spot for lunch and a slice of delicious cake. A warm, friendly welcome and comforting food served in generous portions. Great value too.

We went for an early tea with a group of 8 adults and one baby. The staff were wonderful, and the food was delicious—I especially loved the Bombay chicken; it's my new favourite! Everyone who hadn’t been there before agreed it was the best Indian food they’d had in a long time.

The most absolute fabulous Sunday Lunch Soooo tasty and all home cooked.Nice to get cauliflower cheese without it being an added extra for once. Love the pub. The staff are super friendly and super dog friendly. I can't wait to come back again. Next week hopefully 😊

Visited and ordered a bacon and sausage barm seemed happy until I saw her put pre cooked in the microwave I wouldn’t of bothered the bacon was hard chewy with raw fat round edges sausages where that burnt they looked like Cole. If I hadn’t left I would of asked for a refund not worth the price had better barms from a truck stop Dave your money and go somewhere else

Can't fault the place. There were four of us; two meat eaters, a pescatarian and a vegan (me). We all had plenty of choice, and the food was excellent. Service was good, friendly team, no long waits. Reasonably priced too. Recommended.

The food here is horrible. The jerk chicken was soupy and lacked flavour. The beef patties were rock hard with barely any beef. It’s a shame as I’ve heard so many positive things about this place through word of mouth.
