We came in for a takeaway which was excellent quality .It was the King prawn with ginger & spring onions ,a delicious supper for us.The Maple Tree excels when it comes to Chinese dishes.

Very good in both summer and winter months. Great value food and at a very good standard. Very friendly too. Also have some events on with street food stalls which are excellent too.

We booked our table for 17.00 hours on Sunday, 4 adults and a 5 year old. Service was very good and the Sunday dinner was lovely, an elevated Sunday roast is how I would describe it. The children's dinner was a smaller roast chicken meal which was excellent, far superior to some children's menus. We will definitely return.

Driven past this pub a billion times so decided was time to pay a proper visit. What a fabulous atmosphere. The landlady is absolutely brilliant. Nothing too much trouble. Will definitely be back

Venue not as good as previous location. View over golf course wasn't very impressive.

Tasha the lady that was serving us always had a huge smile and was very pleasant and the food, was just wonderful! Make sure you bring cash for tips!!!

A fabulous traditional pub with friendly attentive service, a great selection of ales and beers as well as incredible restaurant style food. The chef prepared a tasty soup on the house. We went into have the flat iron steak and the tasty cod with Pac Choi. It was so good that we are going back again next week!

The king prawn with ginger and spring onion is without a doubt the best I've eaten, there is no equal to be found in this area. The egg fried rice was also of excellent quality. I've known the owner/manager Sunny for a great number of years, he manages a first class kitchen and offers a quality restaurant and takeaway service.The take away & restaurant food cannot be bettered. What a RIP OFF. We ordered on line for a delivery service. They accepted the order and took our money ( £40.00 ) but the delivery never arrived. When it was late we rang and was told it would be with us shortly. After an hour after it was promised we rang again and was told that there was a problem with their driver and couldn.t deliver. They said that they could make it then if we came to collect it ( so it hadn't been made at this point ). We couldn't collect so told them not to bother. Over a week later we had not had a refund and they told us they wouldn't refund us as we cancelled.

Consistently excellent. Great range of breads, cheese, deli hams & meats, all kinds of sauces, chutnies etc sourced locally & internationally. High quality wines reasonably priced. Superb coffee! Friendly, helpful staff. Consumate Delicatessen!

I went to this place for my dinner at work, she asked me do I want food or drink, I said a bit of both, she only turned round and said we don’t do any of that here you should go to the cafe down the road, this woman needs to learn some manners and good customer service skills, what a disgusting way to treat a customer to tell them we don’t make what you want without even knowing what I want.

Been there many times. The steak pies caught me out, poured over the board when cut. Wonderful taste after fingering the board. Only four dinky porks left. Far too salty ;-) .
