Ate here early Saturday evening with my wife - waiter was attentive and finally cobra on draught !! We had 2 meals from the speciality side of the menu and weren’t disappointed- huge portions of tasty fresh food ! So good to have this place open again and on our doorstep. Some parts of the restaurant need a lick of paint but don’t let this put you off. Food was brilliant.

We visited this lovely restaurant in Marple today for the first time, what a brilliant gem. Food was amazing and service couldn't be faulted. I would recommend the prawn puri or lamb chops starter. For the main course I had the chicken madras which again was brilliant.

Absolutely amazing food, everything tasted brilliant, very friendly service from the waiters and we will definitely be coming back again. 10/10!!

We are regular customers which says it all - great selection of dishes which include quality ingredients which outshines many competitors. Whether you have a takeaway or dine in and enjoy the friendly, helpful service you will not be disappointed.

A meal for my son’s 20th birthday was made a special occasion by the excellent service, friendly staff and wonderful food. The Biryani variants were really well cooked as were the naans and sides. It was quiet in the restaurant late on a Wednesday… so there must be a lot of people in Marple who don’t realise Marple Spice is back to its best and providing the finest Indian food and service in the area!

Lovely food, friendly service from Abid, Ubaid and staff in this beautifully refurbished restaurant. Busy at weekends but deserves to be well patronised all week.

Just had a curry with friends at Marple spice. The food was excellent, staff very friendly and attentive. It was really nice that the chef came to discuss the menu with us and give us recommendations based on our tastes. The sad thing was that we were the only ones in the place because the food was great! If I'm being super picky, the lighting was a bit bright for my liking so could have had a touch more atmosphere. I will be returning, see you soon!

Been visiting for a few years now retried Marple spice after the new management taken over, the staff are lovely, service was up to high standards. We had asked the chef to come out and recommended some starters and curries The Paneer skewers and begun machli will be few to remember! Credit to the chef for recommending these as they was stunning dishes and a lovely few words with him! Will definitely be visiting again and would recommend to others. :)

The staff was so friendly and the food was on point even with my son who is a picky eater and we are not local but definitely will recommend and will definitely revist.

Went for a curry there for the first time this evening, was great! Great food, really good portion sizes and staff were lovely! Had the paneer korma with roti, paneer was cooked to perfection! Can’t wait to try more paneer dishes next time! Thanks!

The Lamb in the Rajastani Tukra was out of this world, presentation of the meal was superb , however the taste was even better. I will be back to try the other dishes soon. Some one else recommended the Prawn Puri . Accidentally I ordered it, The prawns are great. All the food is good, ask the chef for a recommendation , or to customise your order. Great family run restaurant .

Lovely meal great value and friendly staff

Had a great meal with a group of friends. The Prawn Puree was probably the best I’ve ever tasted, and the Chicken Rezala was very nice too. It was a very relaxing atmosphere and we had some good banter with the staff.

Food was banging, looking for authentic home style cuisine. Portion sizes were massive, definitely filled me up and service was lovely.

Unfortunately after a few years of really delicious food was let down on Saturday after being excited for them to reopen, food not good firstly waited well over a 1.5 hours for delivery was extremely cold on arrival popadoms soft & had to be binned & as for the rest was dreadful. I did ring to say we weren’t happy & was told we would get a callback but nobody bothered won’t be ordering again unfortunately.

Assuming this has closed down now. Shut on a Friday and not answering the phone???

Had delivery on Friday night - ordered online and they beat time promised time by 15 minutes. Food excellent as always.

£13 for a take away chicken Madras, £16.20 for a grilled lamb Madras, who are they kidding? It says original Marple Spice, however the original Marple Spice’s prices were in line with all the other local takeaways! The food was nice but that nice.

Our 3rd time ordering from here and once again it was faultless! The food is absolutely gorgeous, delivery bang in time with the food hot and fresh! Definitely recommend, it's the best Indian restaurant in the area!

From the minute I got into the restaurant up until I left, I received great service, the hospitality was amazing and it felt like a well run family business. I ordered a vindaloo and chicken biryani and I must say it did not disappoint. I would also like to give a shout-out to Raks and Abid for making our experience special.

Maz and the team know how to give a hospitable welcome and great service. Nothing is too much trouble for them and you really feel like a valued customer. A good selection of great food. Can't wait to go back again, highly recommended.

Certainly 'good enough' staff attentive & professional, nonetheless ultimately nothing unique or special. No offer of a complementary coffee or drink alike? Others go the 'extra mile' as in:- the sense to flex further to the customers requirements. . . extra pops needed, something different not on a deal are happy to do & at no extra charge ( within reason ) Always complimentary drinks, desert or even both at my local Indian restaurants. Not policy here though for sure? fair enough, guess they deem they don't need to eh. Like tipping its optional, I still tipped though. We may return we may not, considering the price 'all in all' offers no reason for us to travel further for a revisit, Tony.

Wish ide take a picture but was to keen to eat! I'm vegan and had the vegetable skewer starter and then the aubergine curry, it all tasted so fresh and healthy. The husband really enjoyed his chicken saag to, he said it was full of flavor. Great prices with the discount to, good proper authentic food. Food hot when arrived and delivered by a lovley gentleman. 100% recommend.

went in Original Marple Spice after a long wait. The experience was fantastic, the food tasted amazing. I ordered the lamb chops (m) and it was the best I ever had.The new decor looks absolutely amazing love the new light boxes it brightness up the restaurant and very modern. we'll deffo be back.

Tried here not too long after the re-opening (this was previously my favourite Indian restaurant in the area) and was not disappointed! The food was as good as it always was (if not a little better) and the same excellent level of service. Only one (minor) disappointment - no Lemon Rice on the menu anymore :(

Can i just say WOW! The atmosphere in there as soon as we walked in was amazing the whole vibe with the staff. Staff were very talkative and helpful. They have these light features which makes dine in feel a whole lot special. The curries were mouth watering we were gutted and wanted more! Credit to the chefs. Would 100% recommend.

OK food but service not that helpful. At 10 30 they appeared to want everyone out to clear up. Average at best.

Great place to go for a meal in Marple, the food was presented so well and tasted amazing. Staff were so friendly and helpful even though it was quite busy when we went. The restaurant was clean and tidy and table were thoroughly cleaned after each customer. We will definitely be going again

For me best Ruby in Stockport area well priced and staff couldnt be more attentive plus nice walk after to local hosteleries lots of craft bars good night out maybe I shouldn't tell everyone but keep it my secret

First time ordering. Food not upto our usual takeaway standard. We ordered 2 bottles of coke to go with the food. Originally was forgotten, so driver went away and returned with 2 of the glass single serve bottles. £2.50 each, so £5 for 2 small bottles of coke. The size of bottles are not stated on the website but thought at £2.50 a pop it would be the large family size ones. Definitely will NOT be ordering from here again !!

My husband and I went for a meal here today around 4pm. Had a starter and main for a very reasonable£10.90 The food was excellent, fresh and very tasty. The staff were friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend. Will go back again. 5 star

Attentive staff and fabulous food

First time eating here and will be back. Varied menu with some new dishes to try. My katmando was delicious, very rich in flavour and consistency. Onion bhaji was cooked to perfection. Popadoms were crisp and warm. Perfect.

Nice to hook up in evening with friends. Food was tasty and people are very gentle

A truly wonderful meal was had here. Fresh and excellent value. Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. I can't recommend Marple Spice enough. I'll be back again on Mother's day for a lovely evening with family.

food was really good ordered lamb lockdown highly recommended and also the naga spice lamb was really good allthough few little niggles niggle:1 poppadoms starter was great but the popadoms were at room temp instead of warm. niggle:2both breads naan and paratha tasted dry and lacked in flavour. niggle:3 interior wise very nice but needs improving as menu given to myself was quite tatty. if you can overlook theese little blips this is a real find for a curry house in the stockport

Great food, friendly staff - what more could you ask for?!

Even though they were given the postcode and full address we were waiting over two hours for delivery. They claimed they had attempted to deliver twice and when asked which address they were trying to deliver too they hung up. Extremely bad service and awful customer service!!! Probaly best to avoid this take away.
