We recently held our Wedding Ceremony and Reception at The Alma Lodge Hotel and from the initial booking to leaving the following day the service we received was outstanding. Elaine was our contact for the booking and she was extremely knowledgeable and gave us confidence that we picked the right venue. On the day Callum and Faye were on hand for anything we needed, but without being obvious about it. Every member of staff that we encountered were friendly and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The day ran seamlessly thanks to the experience of the staff. It made our special day extra special. We would highly recommend the Alma Lodge for any event, especially a wedding.

Embarrassing and dreadful. We have been to this pub many times over the last few years without issue, but this evening that changed. We had spent a few hours in the games room playing darts when at 1920 a person pulled a stool into the doorway informing us that the room was "booked". No member of staff had mentioned this during the afternoon. Around 30 minutes later a group of agressive, entitled, obnoxious pseudo biker goths entered the room and attempted to bully us to leave. When questioned, the staff were not bothered saying that the room had been booked and when challenged became very defensive and took no action. A barman told to "f*** off". Up to that pont the service, etc, had been fine. An embarrassing - for the pub - and irritating end to an otherwise pleasant evening.

Amazing food! Very tasty, very reasonably priced, we ordered for collection and it was ready on time. Very easy ordering system.

We placed an order online, and the food, the service and the price were all just amazing! First of all, the pizza was full of flavour and with a lot of toppings. And apart from that, the lady that delivered our order realised that they have put a can of pepsi instead of a bottle, so she returned after a few minutes with a bottle of pepsi and an extra pizza as an excuse! What an amazing service♥️ we'll definitely order from Luigi's Pizza again.

The food has 100% gone down hill ! We have gone here for years and it's really disappointing. But the delivery man is the angriest and rudest man I've ever met !! He's very very aggressive and scared the hell out of my daughter. Unfortunately I will never order from here again.

Cash only which is a bit of a gripe but the landlord made an effort to know me, and to make myself comfortable. Pretty rare in pubs these days. Also I could vape indoors

Ordered off ubereats. Got a Ferrero rocher Sundae, kunafa, and a milky bar sundae. The kunafah was over cooked and flattened to make it bigger, even though the portion was ridiculously small. But it was edible. The sundae’s on the other hand were disastrous. The cup was quarter filled with ice cream and had ONE broken Ferrero rocher in the middle. The same with all the other sundaes. No other chocolate pieces or fillings, laziest excuse of a sundae I’ve ever seen. I tried ringing and received no response. Disgraceful service. Will not be ordering again, and will tell my family and friends to avoid. 1/10.

I stayed here for a work event last week, Gemma checked me in and she was amazing, she gave me information on the area and told me the best way to get me to my work event. She was so welcoming, all the staff was amazing, thau always have smiles on their faces. Helia served me drinks in ht restaurant she was run off her feet but so so professional. The rooms are clean and what you would expect from a premiere inn. I would definitely stay at this premier Inn again.

Was really disappointed about our lunch. We arrived and it was busy due to a funeral so expected a delay. We ordered cheese pie and Chicken BLT. When the Chicken BLT came out it was halloumi sandwich. The nice waitress noticed it was wrong straight away so took it back. She did apologise. It took about 10 mins for new sandwich to arrive by the time I had ate by pie which was okish. The whole sandwich was not right break sloppie and the chips we think had been recooked. We then noticed on the sandwich the chilli sauce from the wrong meal so looks like nothing was really change but the chicken. We did say we were not happy and they did not charge for the sandwich but we were really disappointed thay this could have happened. We maybe wrong but we don't think so. Staff and atmosphere always great
