Arrived with my parents for a late lunch. We all ordered from the lunch menu, 2 courses or 3 course option. This menu is also really good value. The food was all hot, fresh and delicious. We were served promptly and nothing was too much trouble. There wasn't much atmosphere as the pub was quiet but this is probably different at other times of the day.

We have been regular customers over the years but we ordered a delivery today and had to phone up when it hadnât arrived after an hour. The shop said theyâd sent someone and tried to call us (we didnât hear a doorbell nor had our phones been called). The guy on the phone was really rude and then said theyâd send the food out now. When it eventually arrived, it was stone cold so we handed it back to the driver. Canadian Charcoal Pit wonât give a refund themselves and we even âtippedâ the driver at the point of order too which adds insult to injury! Will never use again and urge others to reconsider their delivery service!

Out for a spontaneous midweek Italian with my partner. We were greeted warmly and ordered some pre meal drinks. I noticed the table wasn't particularly clean and the furniture is generally tired. There were spiders webs and dust on the walls. So my impressions were not well furnished or clean. The ambience wasn't what I was expecting from the frontage of the restaurant as this is more of a café mostly noted as the drinks were plonked down on the cloth-less table and we were bluntly advised the kitchen was closing soon so if we could 'hurry with our order'. I'm sorry but if the kitchen is closing you could argue why we have sat down in the first place, you instantly feel rushed and unwelcome and we should've left. It was 8pm may I add and I thought this was a restaurant? Therefore the ambience is nonexistent nor very relaxing and as is so typical of restaurants in this area it is very much a 'get in' and 'get out' place. I didn't expect a fine dining experience but if you are paying to eat out you shouldn't feel rushed like the restaurant are doing you the favor for allowing you to eat there. When the waitress (Who was pleasant) took our order the front of house man came again to the table and said the 'kitchens closing soon' at which point I felt like saying well why did you sit us down and what more can I possibly do to speed up this process? I am placing my order and I've been in here for little over 10 minutes. On most days at this point I would've literally just paid for the drinks and left. The food was pretty average but not desperate, the Muscles were bland with too much sauce and the pasta dishes were 'claggy' and had been over flavored with oregano herbs to some tune to which I could've done better in my own kitchen. I really went in to Avanti hoping a long established restaurant of the Moor would come up with the goods but sadly it's not for me and I wouldn't return.

Chinese food superb but sadly the chips were hard and spoilt the meal đ hope they weren't warmed from lunch time, if so it doesn't work.
