I've order several times, and I forgot to comment and take pictures. The salt-and-pepper chicken wings are really delicious with spicy!! Perfect for a late-night snack.

Do Not Order Food from this place as it is unedible, disgusting, either uncooked or burnt food. The Staff here can not even take an order of food here. Terrible experience. Do not waste your time or money on this place.

Used to be a fan of the food here when it was Buddha express, but after the bland tasteless takeaway we had tonight (which turned up late to the point where I had to phone to chase it), we won't be coming back. What an absolute waste of money

We ordered from here last night and really enjoyed our takeaway. Delivery was really quick, food was piping hot and it all tasted lovely and fresh. We’ve ordered from here once before when it was called Buddha Express and loved it then too. Definitely our go to!

I'm new to the area, this is the closest chinese takeaway to my place so thought I'd give it a try in person. Ordered a special fried rice (dry version) a great egg fried rice base (not too oily) and good mixed meats, large strips of chicken, char sui pork, beef, and large King prawns perfectly cooked. Had a smattering of a sweet red sauce on top to mix in, really added to the flavour. A pretty good fried rice, friendly service so I will try some more dishes from Top Wok.

We ordered a takeaway from here recently. The quality of the food was poor. Some items were burnt or overcooked. Some items were missing from the order. Really disappointed.

Shocking! Not how it used to be. 2hr wait for food, called up and apparently they can’t update the delivery time in the app. Food was cold. Called up and asked can you offer something to apologise…… a bottle of Diet Coke! Deary me, never again.

Love the food here it’s amazing and good for the price however delivery always takes much longer than they tell you it will.

Used to frequently order from here until myself and my partner got a late night order, spent £30+ and sat as it never arrived. We informed them of this and were told it was delivered and that they had proof, the proof being delivery driver saying he dropped it off.

Good food, good vegetarian options. Disappointed in online foodhub booking service - made a request for no onions on one of the dishes but this was not actioned. Will ring up to order next time.

Extremely dissatisfied. We ordered and payed last night and then received nothing. When we called to find out where the order was up to, we were told they had received no payment (we checked and our payment had gone through). We then received an email this morning saying the order was finally confirmed and “on its way”. We still have received nothing as of yet and if the order does turn up it will be nearly 24 hours late. Be cautious when paying through the website as there is clearly a fault somewhere when it comes to processing.

Beautiful Chinese staff are all lovely definitely would recommend to friends and family fast tastey and welcoming Buddha exspress heaton Moore!

Although a bit on the high price bracket they do home delivery oh and the foods are great especially the duck spring rolls.

First visit for long time cash only for a start !! Got our meal wrong offered to deliver waited 40 mins for a cold meal very poor we will not be going back .

It pains me to write this because I have previously been the biggest fan of this Buddha Express but my experience this time was shocking. We ordered our usual and everything just tasted wrong, even basic things like a tofu and veggie chow mein was so bland when it was previously really tasty. The crispy chilli beef was so sour when it’s normally sweet, spicy and delicious. The salt and pepper squid was bland and the batter was very thick so it wasn’t nice at all, so disappointing. The only things I couldn’t fault were the prawn crackers, seaweed and the prawn toast. Such a shame as the owners seem so lovely and I never want to write anything bad about someone’s business but I regrettably won’t be returning after this experience, £50 down the drain and we barely touched our food :(

Ordered salt n pepper chips and salt n pepper ribs. The chips had hardly any seasoning and no pepper. The ribs had hardly any meat and were mainly full of fat. I wish I could have posted a picture. I will not be ordering from here again.

I have previously proclaimed Buddha Express to be the best takeaway in the Heatons, even the manchester area. Every single meal was a treat, I have had very very few issues over the past years since it opened - all of which resolved. This did warrant a 5 star review. However, after the new menu and new ownership this place has fallen from this spot. I will unfortunately never order from here again. Solid choices on the menu have been changed and ruined, less flavour, less food per portion, higher prices, lower quality ingredients. All adding up to what is now a takeaway I will never order from again and will no longer recommend to anyone. Severely disappointed.

I've used Buddha since it first opened and always enjoyed it. My shock tonight at the 'new' chicken fried rice! Wow, its dreadful, tasteless, bland, just awful. Such as shame! Never again Buddha, goodbye

This used to be our favourite Chinese in the Heatons but twice we have ordered now and twice been disappointed. Crispy chicken pieces mostly just crispy with no chicken and the sweet and sour sauce is like water, really thin and tasteless.

The best Chinese takeaway in Stockport. Highly recommend it. Food is always great, some decent options for vegans too!

Second time around and food as superb as the first. Quality meat and veg, worth the extra couple of pounds. Love the variety of options. This will be our go too from now on.

Been ordering from here for a few years and, whilst the quality has in the past been good, it has started to slip along with the delivery times. My most recent order was a real disappointment and with delivery taking 1.5 hours (it used to be 30 mins), I don't think I'll be ordering from here again any time soon.

For second time I have had terrible service from this takeaway, first time delivery driver took forever from leaving the shop and then wasn’t able to find a very clearly marked building. Second time ordered on the website for collection and when I got there to collect was told collection wasn’t available and was told if I waited across the road in the cold that they would deliver to me there 🤦‍♂️ Absolutely ridiculous. Will not be using again after being a regular customer.

Such a good place, especially for veggie / vegan options. The only downside is cash only but there's a cash point a few minutes walk away

Best Chinese take away in Mancheater, absolutely not the cheapest but you get what your paid for. Tasty, authentic, hot with great portion sizes.

Broken website steals your money. Absolutely appalling business practice. Waited over an hour for food, rang up only to find the website had taken our money and not given the restaurant the order. To make it worse the woman on the phone just passed the buck to people that run the website, offering us no refund or anything.

Love it here. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. My daughter loves collecting orders here with me as she gets free Fortune Cookies 😊 On one occasion when we were given Chicken Noodle Soup with no Noodles in 🙈 they were quick to rectify this and couldn't have been more apologetic. Friendly waiting area if ordering on arrival and free tea whilst you wait! 💜

Got a take away from here and the food was really fresh tasty and hot which are always good when you get a take away. Credit cards only accepted online which is a bit of a pain but thats just me liking to use a card everywhere I go.

A nice Chinese takeaway but it's a little pricey. It's really good that all the dishes can be customised too. The meat is always nice and the Char Siu pork is delicious

Normally food good here . Fruday 24th march 2017 myself and 2 friends had poor meal Veg soup had meat in . Mushroom chow mein had anout 3 bits mushroom and Meat that looked like chicken .*binne) chiw mein eas tastess also half binned . I wm just hopimg it.was a one off I would habe goben 2 stars but past has been.good .

Really lovely Chinese takeout. They have the best crispy chilli shredded beef I've had in a long time! The only issue can be consistency. Sometimes the food is incredibly salty, but 90% of the time it's flawless.

One of the best Oriental takeaways I've ever used. The ordering website is well conceived, even on mobile, and the staff are equally professional. The spicy Sczchuan soup is personal favourite!

Great vegetarian selection and quick from call to selection. I'd recommend the Thai Sweet and Sour Tofu and their fantastic Vegetable Spring Rolls that come with dips.

The price was an unbelievable rip of I order Crispy Shredded Beef Chips Prawn Toast and a bottle of coke cost me £16.30 i received the wrong type of beef the chips tasted awful the only thing that was to expectations was the bottle of coke I will never be ordering from Buddha Express again

We've ordered a wide selection of dishes from Buddha Express, and they have been all been good or excellent. We are particular fans of the salt and pepper crispy squid! The manager is very cheery and chatty, and sometimes does the deliveries himself.

I didn't think they would deliver out to our house as we were a little out of their delivery area but thankfully they do. Super nice staff on the phone, fast delivery and the food is amazing. Can't recommend them highly enough.

The best take-away for miles around. Everything we have ordered has been of restaurant quality. You get what you pay for and that is a fantastic meal.

The food here is really tasty, easily the best Chinese take-away in the area. The service is always with a smile and if you go in to collect your food a free cup of green tea is always on offer. Try the War Tips they're devine.
