This visit was a family affair at 1pm on a Monday. Before ordering our food we were told there were no mash potatoes, no fish and no garlic bread. Now this is just bad management or very bad suppliers. It is only a short walk to Sainsburys from here and they sell fish, potatoes and garlic bread, so why is there a shortage in the kitchen. There are lots of rooms adjacent to this restaurant. You must be missing lot of customers.

Went here for sunday lunch today, had to wait 40 minutes for it to hit the table,food was cold, and only had turkey the roast potatoes were frozen and dry inside, i wouldnt Recommend it to anyone and id sooner go to the chippy than eat there again

The restaurant was very good - we had breakfast there during our week long stay - the food was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful - particularly Karen and Darren

This restaurant is in dire need of refurbishment and a damn good dusting if not! Some of the relaxing chairs in the bar area have seen better days, the paintwork is atrocious and everything such as sockets, dado rail, lamp base etc hasn’t had a wipe down for some time! Breakfast was just ok, but chef needs to learn how to poach eggs as they were shocking. Didn’t eat and asked for fried instead.

Good menu options for the whole family, food was delicious. Kirsty got the right balance of attentiveness whilst giving us time to socialise as an extended family.

Lovely staff. Great breakfast and incredible value for money. We are regulars for breakfast and really look forward to our visits.

Great breakfast this morning with wonderful and very friendly service from Kirsty, Keira and great food from Alan the chef. Keira made a fabulous hot chocolate for my 10 year old which has literally made her day! Thanks so much everyone. Brilliant start to the day.

Visited with my friend before heading into Manchester. As always good atmosphere and the staff are friendly and can't do enough for you. Good beers on offer and had the potato dippers super yummy

Stay at Premier Inn next door when visiting family. However, the bar has the worst furniture I have ever experienced. Uncomfortable seats, ripped chairs and charging high prices for drinks. Surely Whitbread could provide reasonable seating arrangements.

I was served by Paris and Kirsty. Absolutely lovely, very welcoming and provided great service. Definitely look forward to coming again. The food was cooked beautifully and you can request whatever you like and however much you like which is a bonus!

It took the lady manager she had long blondish hair plaited and glasses it took her mins to get up 15 where i believe she was talking to her staff i stood at the waited to be seated sign and followed the voices i sat and waited another 10 mins to have her take my order . I was the only person in the restaurant bit . My food came was nice scampi mash and peas she did no check back but i did hear her voice and again chatting i was going to order a pudding but 20 mins later still waiting i felt ignored and unhappy still waiting another 10 mins had to get up to ask for the bill I use to get good service here but not any more . Not surprised they dont get many customers in the afternoon when this managers on.

Booked for Mother's Day. 3 course meal. Brought hot main course out and was told prawn cocktail starter would be out later. Waited for starter by which time main course cold. Took main course back to keep warm. Came back with salad still on plate. Ordered dessert. Not available. Have to say on a plus point our server was lovely and very apologetic. Not her fault at all. Stuck to the floor. Won't be back. Just relieved Mum has a sense of humour.

An unexpected stop in the Premier Inn and we went to eat in Table Table next door. There was a long wait for table and food but it was made comfortable by the great selection of drinks, reasonable prices and excellent staff

Not really a place you go for the atmosphere but it's great for a breakfast and kids eat free.

Absolutely shocking restaurant! We were put on a table near the back of the restaurant and were repeatedly forgotten about throughout the evening. It took us 2 and a half hours just for a main meal, a pudding and one drink (we only had one drink because no body bothered to come and check on us to see if we wanted anything else.) Service was so slow, and the waitress even told us herself she had forgotten we were there! Food was average but 3 of us had the pies and they were over done and the pastry was hard. We made the mistake of ordering pudding, which took a further 30 mins, and when they finally arrived the cheesecake was frozen in the middle, and our Black Forest “crownies” were mistaken for “brownies” which had to be changed, but even when they brought the right pudding there wasn’t a single bit of cherry in the middle, and there was no cookie dough at all! A real disappointment! The restaurant itself was really quiet so no excuse for the awful service, and I won’t be back In a hurry.

breakfast horrendous only 1 person greeting and serving all the guests at hotel breakfast too busy to take the orders or get coffee rushed off her feet and avoiding eye contact so have to chase her around the breakfast area to get attention and same happened when her shift ended and she was replaced with another waitress with even worse attitude covering the whole room alone sub par service

We visited on a quiet Monday evening. We waited five minutes at the front desk before anyone came to see us. We were shown to our table then left for twenty minutes before we attracted someone's attention to order drinks and food. We waited another forty minutes before we got our starters. It took over two hours in total for our three courses. We were lucky. One gentleman who arrived before us waited one hour forty minutes to get his meal. There is absolutely no organisation whatsoever. The tables have numbers on them but they don't use them when ordering so they have no idea who the food is for. Waitresses were walking round with plates of food but not knowing who had ordered it. The upside is that the food was good. Sadly that is not enough to tempt us back. We will stick to our local Beefeater.

We went for valentines meal food was nice . Did not rate the garlic bread and cheese was a bit soggy and two small slices for over 4 pound I found a little expensive . Dessert was nice only my dessert came before my partners and his then got forgotten about they did apologise but I felt the service was a little unorganised . Don’t think we would go again .

Tonight’s meal and service was fantastic. We were dubious at trying the dining experience again tonight but we could not fault Karen, Maisie and Amy. They were extremely attentive and accommodating. We were relieved to be greeted with a much calmer environment where customers were made to feel welcome. Last night, our dining experience in the same establishment was a very different scenario due to lack of management skills from the team leader Bianca. The poor management resulted in the young waitress Maisie running around trying to explain to diners why some people had received their meals and some not (some orders going through to the kitchen And others not! I’m not sure why the team leader hadn’t realised sooner as so many diners weren’t served and others were! Finally the chef came out and queried why there were so many diners and not many orders) Surely the senior member should have been providing this customer service that the waitress was having to deal with . 1 and a half hours later our starters arrived to then be told our son’s Mac and Cheese bites were sold out and just before our main meals arrived we were told our daughter’s scampi was out of stock so they had to give fish gougons instead. The service was so different. Although we were given free drinks we certainly didn’t have the service that we were given this evening. The team leader made no effort to resolve things with customers with just a floating comment of the drinks are on us as you’ve had to wait!!!

Took a friend with me, had the lunch time deal, food very good setting warm and friendly, served by young lady called Karen, who gave us excellent service. Would recommend and will return.

Gammon was full of fat and the service was very slow,not even that many people in ,was very cold and we had a added draft ,would not return .

Came in from next door for lunch. Was served by Karen and Kiera. Spacious seating and comfy vibes. Was not crowded, welcome was warm. We had a choice of seating we took one by the window. Service was quick and food was very tasty. Ordered the Thai curry. Will be a regular here.

Good, filling mixed grill for me and a yummy chicken and ribs for "the better half". Attentive, friendly service from Karen.

We came for Sunday Lunch with family and our baby grandson, we had a great time, lovely food, attentive staff who couldn't do enough for us and who went out of there way to make us welcome. Great food, great staff, great atmosphere. The only negative was the very arragant, intimidating, rude and verbally aggressive customer who was demanding to be served before everyone else. It never ceases to amaze me how rude and entitled some people can be. The staff dealt with this issue impeccably and with great professionalism, they were clearly upset and distressed by what occurred but ensured that their first priority was to check on and reassure other customers. Our thanks goes to the staff on duty Karen, Kiera, Shay and Anthony, you are a great example of good customer service and Table Table are lucky to have such conscientious staff working for them, well done guys.

Came here for Sunday lunch 04-02-2024 came here with my family for a Sunday roast as we wanted to eat out instead of cooking. I can not complain at the food it was spot on it was hot tasteful and presented well. The lady’s on the bar were well mannered throughout . My only issue with today’s visit was one customer. He was extremely rude and shouting across the restaurant swearing at the staff could see the young girl getting very overwhelmed and upset she went into the kitchen to ask the chefs as they came out and after hearing how he was acting they refused him service and I had to say something. You did an amazing job we was sat close to the bar and could easily hear everything that was going on. The chef asked him politely to leave as they do not tolerate abuse, well done to you guys today we will surely be back next Sunday with a drink on us

We stayed at the Premier Inn next door before flying out of the country. The staff were very pleasant and chatty and we had a lovely evening. Food was excellent and the chef even came out to ask my wife how she would like her steak cooked. We ended up on first name terms and are looking forward to our next pre-flight visit in March. Came for breakfast with my other half before venturing into Manchester. We didn't book but Vicki was highly accommodating as it was a Sunday morning and they were pretty busy. Buffet bar was fresh and plentiful and the cooked breakfast was yummy and came to us in good time after ordering. Overall pleasant place to eat and great atmosphere

We had a family meal for 10. Our requests for a quiet area were met along with a high chair for the youngest member of the family. We were served by Karen who gave first class service. Orders for both drinks and food were taken within a short time of arrival, food arrived and was delicious and piping hot. Most people ordered from the festive menu and there was a two or three course option for a fixed price and a good selection of options. We all enjoyed our meals and would certainly recommend this pub/restaurant.

Visited kn a Sunday evening, and it seemed under staffed, there were items not available on the menu, but the staff informed us when we sat down. It seemed to take a long time to get served as it was like there were only 2 members of front of house staff running a bar and restaurant, and only 1 chef in the kitchen. Food was OK a little kn the well done side but eatable. Wasn't offered dessert, but due to the staffing rate, we advised against getting dessert.

Nice place, parking is difficult as there's a hotel right next door, however it was a nice meal and catered for gluten intolerance.

Continental breakfast options much reduced, several items had " run out ", including brown bread, yogurts, juices etc. My cooked breakfast came with some items missing and some which I had not ordered! Staff did their best but obviously under-staffed. All in all, would not recommend - there are places nearby which are much better & much cheaper. Evening meal was mediocre and, apart from the convenience of it being next to the Premier Inn, there's not much to recommend.

Abysmal service, terrible food. Lots of items not available, wrong drinks given to us, salad and coleslaw was hot so inedible. No mayo brought, wrong plates given to us even when asked who was having what. We waited an hour for a starter. Our main course plates weren’t cleared so we weren’t asked if we wanted a dessert. At this point we left not having used our Premier Inn voucher fully and the bill was wrong as we were charged for items we hadn’t ordered. It was really cold in the venue too. Don’t ever go here it was appalling and when I told them there was no apology and the supervisor was listening but didn’t bother getting up from the fridge to say anything. This is the worst place I ever been to.

Initially denied me food at 8.45pm on Tuesday but eventually agreed as I was staying in the hotel. Gammon and chips meal was VERY greasy and came with 2 eggs rather than 1 and 1 pineapple. Breakfast was nice though and service fast.

Great food, but appalling management!! Have eaten here a few times. Never an issue with the food. Service can be slow. Waiting staff can be inattentive. I do understand they have been understaffed at times, which makes slower service justifiable, However, even when there have just been 3 or 4 tables occupied in the restaurant, I have seen staff opting to clean other tables, as opposed to serving the customers. The worst part has to be the manager. She does not seem to have a clue about customer service. Seemed to be incapable of having a direct conversation when taking an order. Whenever I have raised concerns about my visit, I have found the manager very defensive.

Amy was our host and although we faced a couple of issues, she dealt with them without prompting and for that reason she deserves a top score, she is an asset to the restaurant. As mentioned there was an issue, the chef had dropped one of our meals and had to remake, therefore we had a very long wait time. Amy took charge and comped the one meal as we had waited ages. This was done without a prompt and made what could have been an issue as positive experience. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Thanks for providing perfect customer service in a world of jobsworth! Amy you were a star, thank you 🌟

Fabulous food, fresh, tasty and god sized portions. The premises was very clean and we were served by Peter who was charming. The waitress, didn't catch her name 😏 was exceptional as well. Fantastic meal and as our 1st visit to Table, Table we will be visiting others.

Had a meal here as I was staying next door at the Premier Inn. The first table I was given had chairs that were so worn the seat was non-existent and uncomfortable. Very few tables had matching chairs and the furnishings had seen better days. The paintwork and carpets had not been touched in many years and this is evident by the look of them, the odd cracked floor tile with parts missing also backed up this neglect. The decor in general is tired and the restaurant needs a good deep clean or a complete refit. The table I moved to was wobbling so much I had to fold a napkin and stuff it under one of the legs to keep it stable. The food I ordered was average, and the usual pre-frozen offerings to be expected at these types of restaurants. I had the cauliflower goujons which I am guessing were deep fried or air fried as they were so hot when they were brought to the table. The burger was okay, but again tasted average and typical of these restaurants offerings. Table Table and other well known chains offering similar food need to start changing their menus to keep them fresh and attract customers. It's the staff I feel sorry for, kitchen staff putting out the same food for years and waiting staff having to serve it to customers. These staff may as well tell people they work on a conveyor belt, same food being served night after night. I am guessing no-one at senior level in these outlets ever dines there. If they did they would never return.

A bit tired looking on the outside, staff very friendly and responsive. Food is a good standard, portion size good and reasonably priced. There were 3 adults in our party.

I ordered 2 full breakfast as shown on the menu BUT only received 2 HALF breakfast. The menu shown 2 eggs, 2 rashers of bacon, 2 sausage, 2 hash brown and black pudding plus backed beans, mushrooms and 2 half's of tomatoes. We only received 1 of each and NO black pudding and we were still charged the full price. While the service was OK the meal was definitely NOT. MUST TRY HARDER. Next time we have a cooked breakfast we will use the other Restaurant down the road. NOT AT ALL SATISFIED.

Service and staff attitude was awful

You can't argue at the value, two meals main and desert for £20. However every time I go they just can't get the food correct, service was good polite and friendly just a bit to quick as in we had all seven of us sat down and they wanted to take the drinks order. Grat value for money polite service and great for the family.

Service extremely slow over an hour's wait between courses food mediocre. One lady was served cold rice after a 50 minute wait. Apparently they were busy, yet there were plenty of empty tables ... And plenty of recruiting staff needed signs. Say no more. Also the bill was wrong got charged for dessert that was supposed to be included . Upon query I was refunded

I visited Cheadle Royal Table Table Restaurant on Wednesday 9th November 2022 and it was a most enjoyable experience.

I was OK but I was given an old pen pot with a Bacardi in and they just said sorry 😞 No refund, replacement nothing

Mixed grill - poor quality food for top end prices. It was empty , now I know why . Food very poor . The standard of the mix grill was very low . No mushrooms, eggs half done . Chips were ok ,steak was like a bit of grissle , no taste to the salted chicken and sausages were just over cooked from the morning it looks like it had been reheated. The actual place needs a good clean and updating . The windows are dirty . Dust all over the place and it looks tired and dated. Service was the only good thing I can say at least the staff are polite. Parrswood gateway has a much better mixed grill for half the price.

Had the odd early tea here periodically over the last few years and it's always been fine. Went last night and stood and waited, and waited, and waited. Not many people in at all. 2 girls behind the bar, nobody acknowledged we were waiting to be seated. Wife used the WC whilst we waited and there wasn't any loo roll. Waited whilst bar staff were attending to another customer who just wandered in whilst we were waiting and eventually gave up and went to the Aviator.

The staff are friendly and attentative. The service is good and the food is always well presented and good quality. My only complaint is, its cold inside, they have the air-con on all the time and depending where you are seated it can feel like a fridge with cold air blasting on you. Can the management please review this ? its the only thing that ruins the experience for us when we go for a meal. I would have put 5 stars otherwise

They weren't busy when we went as a family. The service was poor, if I'm honest. They weren't in any rush, let's just say that. The food was so so.

Ordered mixed grill, was informed that the sausages were off and would be replaced, did not happen, but was enough on the plate to fill me anyway. My partner had something like Hunters Chicken and enjoyed it. Not a bad experience for the price. Will probably try again if stopping over

Stayed at the adjoining Premier inn for a night before flying from Manchester Airport. Came in here for evening meal. Wasn't expecting much but the food was actually better than expected. Had a Lasagna and Fish and Chips between us and they were both fine, couldn't complain.

Friendly staff, prompt table service, dreadful food. Two kids’ hamburgers both buns hard as nails. Asked for replacements which were exactly the same, no syrups available for a milk shake, and no ham available for a ploughman’s lunch. In fairness, no charge for burgers plus free desserts. We weren’t looking for a freebie, just food we could enjoy. Letting themselves down unnecessarily.

Held my uncles 70th birthday dinner here last night & honestly Kath couldn’t do enough for us - she even offered to make my Mum a cup of tea when she was getting a bit tired & wasn’t feeling too good before we left. The service was second to none & all the service staff were great too. To say we were a table of over 20 people that hadn’t seen one another in a while & who’s first family get together it was since the pandemic started and therefore a bit exuberant 😂 - they did brilliantly at keeping the mood going & serving our food & drinks and Caitlyn was also really, really lovely. Thank you for going above & beyond and making the evening perfect Kath & Caitlyn & the rest of the team at the Cheadle Royal! 🥳 x

Booked a table for mothers day for 4.30 we arrived and got told there's 20 min wait 40 mins later and finally got a table then waited 30 mins to order we placed are order waited another 25 mins then to be told food will be another 30 mins very slow wouldn't be returning again

I took my mum and my 2 best friends for my mum's 81st birthday at lunch. Apart from us there was only another table of 4 in the pub. We sat on the table in a quiet area next to a radiator that wasn't on. Firstly it took 20 minutes to order a drink and then three was no Brandy, 10 mins later we were asked if we would like lemon or lime in our drinks. We ordered 2 Gamon, 2 steak and ale pie and I ordered the fish pie. When they came there was alot of fat on the gamon, my mum's pie was tasteless and my fish pie was warm at the sides but cold in the middle. I sent it back.

Only 4 stars as we only had drink in here so didn't try the food so it gives me a excuse to call back and try the food
