This place is amazing for any occasion! The food is delicious, with a great variety of flavors that satisfy every craving. Excellent brunch on a Friday. Great service from all staff (Laura main server). Had the limited time bottomless pancakes. The bacon & maple pancakes were so good I had to have a second serving! Just the right amount of maple syrup to taste but without drowning the pancakes like lots of places. I also tried the strawberry & cream pancakes which were also great (couldn't finish them sadly). Plus had my favourite Raspberry Crush mocktail (the one with orange sorbet) which I'm so glad they brought back (it was on the menu for years but it disappeared for a while and recently returned). Great meal, good location too.

My server was sage and she was very attentive and the food was lovely would highly recommend

It was ok, not the best experience we have had from here. Food was overcooked so there was no taste and hard to eat, I had the seasame chicken strips but it was like trying to eat cardboard, coating very hard and the small amount of chicken I side had been more or less obliterated, prices have shot up considerably since last here, way over priced for value and quality. Sorry, for me, it was not worth the cost or the experience.

We have eaten here lots, sadly this evening was the Worst meal i have ever had here. The menu has changed for the worst, service was terrible, the order was wrong and the place was totally empty. Won't be going back.

Great evening, we went to the drive-in cinema. The food was good, but the brownie obsessions were absolutely out of this world and chocolate milkshakes to die for. Would go again just for the deserts.

My family & I recently visited Fridays Cheadle for my son’s 11th birthday. We were served by Devon Glasgow who also turned out to be the manager. Devon was amazing! He not only took care of us making us feel like his most important customers but also was able to manage our needs and the needs of the entire restaurant at the same time! If Devon couldn’t be there to bring our food he ensured it was brought to our table in a timely manner forgetting none of the separate requests each of us required. Our visit was extra special and we think Devon should get a pay rise!!! 😍❤️

When we went, we had the bottomless wings. The food was excellent, and the service was on point. The second we had finished our first lot of wings, the waitress had the next lot ready. Good value for money and good service.

Service was excellent, food average and expensive. Can put your car reg inside for free parking. £19 for a burger which really was no better than weather spoons.

Food was lovely although it feels like it's really gone up in price since we last ate in. The waitress was attentive and friendly.

We popped in for a quick bite and were bowled over by how lovely Laura was - super friendly in a nice genuine way. We had our 3 year old with us and Laura made a balloon animal for her which was cool. She also helped us cater for our tricky 3 year old who eats nothing! Had a great time and were very grateful for all of Laura’s help!

Average food at premium prices. sesame chicken for starters is decent the jack Daniels sauce made it more enjoyable. Main meal the burger £20 for this was charred to the point it was not edible. got it changed and it was only slightly better. avoid the burgers if you come here.

Food cold service slow music to loud making conversation difficult. Not surprised they are closing them down

Awful. Service was okay but the wait for food was around two hours which isn't acceptable, especially as when it did eventually arrive the burgers were cold. Won't be visiting again.

it was a bit disappointing. Price is very high for a standard size and standard taste burger. Also, drinks are expensive. Waiters disturb you every 10 mins to get another drink or food. Then, you need to wait bill for long time. The only positive thing is decoration. Decoration is very funny and lovely you can take lots of good pictures.

This was our favourite TGI Friday to visit over the years and with the news of administration wanted to go again to understand why. As you would imagine the staff and atmosphere were great but food definitely a let down from all our previous visits. Not sure why they would replace the thick chunky burgers with 2 wafer thin ones, but not as good I’m afraid

Yeah, it's a great place for a family occasion, plenty of free parking. Lovely inside, the food was great, and the staff were attentive as well. Little bit expensive but isn't everywhere these days. Good choice on the menu as well.

This was our first time here and it was great 😊 We love how fast we were seated and the service was amazing all the ladies are always helpful with a big smile 😊 They are so kids friendly and the kids got a pack of colours and a puzzle mini book. The starter dishes came fast and were so delicious. Main course dishes took a longer time to be served. Dessert was also yummy 😋

Been going to TGI Fridyas since they opened in Sale and Cheadle,not been for a while and it seems very overpriced & and the food isn't as good as it used to be sadly.

The prices! Since when did TGI’s go so expensive where a main is between £20-£30. Seriously I’m shocked that they are trying to charge those amounts for the food and would end up being £100+ for a family to dine there. The staff were lovely but I feel like the people that decide the pricing are letting their staff down. The food wasn’t even particularly big portions to warrant the price. The food also wasn’t really that hot when it arrived and you could see absolutely no care or effort went into the presentation. The place was also absolutely empty in the summer holidays on a rainy day which tells you something!

Be careful with parking, I didn’t realise it was metered and have been fined!

Always a nice atmosphere here, staff are attentive and friendly. The food was very tasty . A good selection of foods and drinks to choose from.

Such a great place to eat wish we lived around here to come more often. Our server Tilly was amazing such a nice girl and clearly good at her job. I work as a chef and know the pressures of this industry but she smashed it. Thanks Tilly 😊

The staff was super friendly, but the food was incredibly disappointing. The ribs were only okay. The mac n cheese had no flavor. The slaw wasn't great either and such a tiny portion. The prices were way too high for such a mediocre meal.

We were seated quickly enough. At the window when you walk in on the right hand side. The tinted windows are visibly damaged. The food took ages to arrive and the waitress blamed if on carnage in the kitchen. We took some take out food with us. We only wanted the bites not the whole meal. This was incorrectly ordered. The check took ages to be adjusted. Again the wait was blamed on it being a mess in the back. I don't mind waiting for food a little. But waiting so we can leave is really bad.

Food lack lustre and overpriced, music too loud for lunchtime. Service was good because the place was empty. Sadly, we won't be returning

5 Star customer service from Tom! Absolutely one of the best greetings we have had into any restaurant anywhere in the world!! Absolutely no understatement! It’s the little things that go a very long way! The food was 4* but we felt it very important to compliment tom on his excellent customer service skills :)

Amazing service turned up with a very sleepy toddler that had just woken up and the waitress could not have been better came over with a little bowl of cucumber sticks while we were waiting for our food constantly checked in on us always with a smile. Ended the meal with a balloon animal for the little one and turned what could have been a tricky meal out into great fun. I wish I knew the waitresses name to thank her personally but all the staff and food were great 👍 will deffo go back if I get the opportunity. Thanks Liam A1 Agency Ltd

Only popped on for a drink and some bar food. Usual noisy atmosphere with loads of kiddy birthday parties, and the usual "Happy Birthday Song"

friendly staff however service could be improved as communication was poor when ordering food and drinks. food was over priced and has gone downhill since my last visit a few years ago. the hot dogs have a tinned sausage which for the price you pay for the meal is quite shocking. most of the food was over cooked and the chicken was tasteless. considering there was a lot of us visiting the staff handled it very well however when it came to splitting orders they did make an issue with it but they did manage to resolve it and was very patient with us all. i wouldn’t personally visit again as the food has gone very down hill but if the food was to improve again i would happily visit.

£65 for 2 drinks, a flavourless burger and some dry kind of warm ribs. TGIs used to be great but now it’s overpriced and overcooked. The servers were nice but the food quality is now on par with Frankie and bennies.

Really gone downhill since our last visit. We waited for our drinks for 40 minutes before being told that the drinks machine was broken. Ended up getting the food before the drinks had arrived. Half of the food we'd ordered arrived which was really poor (overcooked, dry, tasteless) and then the sides arrived (cold) after we'd finished the rest of the meal. Had to send the mac n cheese back as it wasn't even warm. Servers were apologetic and took several items off the bill but the whole experience was still really disappointing so we won't be coming back

Great service by enthusiastic waiting staff, just god-awful food, small portions (the handful of burnt cheese-less nachos for eight quid are a particular affront) and overpricing. Do not trust the photos in the menu, you’d be disappointed if you did, and the fajitas now come with thimbles of cheese/guacamole/salsa etc and four of the smallest tortillas I’ve ever seen. Unless you have literally zero choice then avoid this place.

Service staff were lovely, polite, and helpful. However, the man behind the bar was terribly slow. The food is ridiculously priced for very average meals. The whole place felt like it was in SERIOUS need of a deep clean, the menu pages were sticking together, the table was sticky, and didn't feel very clean, and the atmosphere was rather dull (I understand the darker vibe but it felt dingy as opposed to stylized.) All in all, I spent ~£20 on a burger that felt like it didn't warrant the price at all. All in all, it felt unclean and not pleasant... then, to top it off, it was not good value for money in any way.

Lovely speedy service and delicious food

Hadn't been here in a few years, went on a Friday in January. Quality of the food was dreadful for the high prices and not the standard I would expect from TGIs at all. My "full rack" of ribs was two halves pushed together. Restaurant wasn't busy but getting refills was frustratingly difficult (even when I did get them, it took 15-20m to arrive) and food service was very slow. There's plenty of American style dining nowadays, absolutely no reason to ever go here.

Well I had a lot of expectations from TGI Fridays but got disappointed after ordering food online. This was my first time trying TGI. May be I need to try some other dishes to know if they are good or not.

Hello TGI Friday’s Cheadle Hulme! My friend and I have popped in to this little American eatery and we were super excited to celebrate the delightful news that Amy has gotten into nursing at MMU- and her birthday!!! 🎉 We must admit, the food wasn’t up to scratch but the hosting was IMMACULATE. Our waiter, Ricky was fabulous. He was such a sweet gentleman and even brought Amy a cake and balloons to celebrate. What a lovely man. We would definitely come again if we knew Ricky was on shift- what an asset to TGIs, well in Ricky. ❤️ Thank you, Amy and friends

Food here is extremely poor and prices are ridiculously expensive. We ordered a starter which to be fair wasn’t to bad, then waited about 10 /15 minutes for the mains, all food came out so cold. Mac and cheese the worst I’ve ever seen or tasted. Chicken burger tasteless and cold, rack of ribs very cold. Left feeling like I will not be returning to this TGI Fridays which is a shame as it’s close to home. A lot of money spent. Disappointed. Couldn’t fault the lady that was serving us. She did a very good job.

My friend and l met up for lunch last Tuesday, the young lady who took the order was Laura,she was very friendly,and most of all listened and made suggestions l am very happy to write this reveiw and l hope she reads this Thankyou Laura we will defo see you again.

Was busy this evening, nit standards remain the same trying out a different restaurant in Cheadle.

Food was of good quality with quite large portions staff were friendly and efficient good choice of beer

Shocking service I'm not blaming the staff they were over run need more staff waited over 45mins before we even got our drinks then another hour before we got our food won't be going there again

there were 2 floor staff and 1 chef in the building when we arrived. the young girl with long dark hair Louise it says on my bill , was running round, keeping the boat afloat. Louise could not have done more for us and the majority of the rest of the guests . As a chef in hospitality for 30 years, I found the staffing levels ridiculous. The burger I had was overcooked to the point of chewy rather than juicy. but i did not say anything as the problem was staffing levels not the skill levels of 1 chef cooking for a busy restaurant. Overall we enjoyed the afternoon and will go back, just to see if they have improved , as we enjoy tgi's.

Food ok but for the second time running (thought we'd give it another chance) the service is AWFUL. If you want to go thirsty and wait for an age for anything you ask for, then this is the place for you! No wonder someone left without paying last time we came!

I used to love TGI’s. I haven’t been for a few years. Now it’s ridiculously expensive for what it is. £22 for a burger & it was not anything special. They no longer do Jack Daniels marinade :(. Apparently it’s just renamed, but it’s definitely not the same recipe! It wasn’t nice. There was water dripping from the ceiling on to the table behind us. The whole experience was a complete disappointment. We won’t be going again.

I used to love coming here for the ribs but sadly 3 times now I've been disappointed with the food over the last 2 years. £9.50 for 4 mozzarella sticks joke The salad was rediculous too Your chef needs propa looking at I love corn on the cob but some how tgi messed that up too. Almost missed the ceiling dripping from leaks too. Sorry tgi it had to be said.

Staff ignored me was waiting over 10 mins

I've not been for a while, while the food and service have always been good and still are. I think the prices are a bit much for instance a double stack glazed burger 22.50 understand cost of things going up but been to equilevent places and around the 16 to 18 mark see Hickory's Smokehouse which is better value and my favourite burger.

Ordered a Zombie to drink. 2 came did not even look like the Zombie pictured on the menu let alone taste like one. The drink just tasted like watered down Pineapple Juice, no taste of the overproof rum or any alcohol so sent them back much to the annoyance of the waitress. Ordered a Margarita instead that was not much better. It looked like puree and tasted of water. Food was ok. Shame about the drinks at the price you charge.

Went for birthday meal for grandson.and my experiance was a let down.so this calls for my review service was ok but very slow and it wasnt busy and also could do with a few more smiles from the staff looked liked they didnt want to be there ..but was so let down with the food .cold burger and chips served fair enough they did change it for me but not much better when they did and for the price expected so much better ..others on my table were to polite to say anything would not recommend sorry .

Working away so fancied a treat. Up 2:00 on a Sunday this place was. Just put the Christmas decorations up have a lovely little feel to. Staff were prompt, food was great. Couldn't ask for anything more from a TGI

Our Server Rik went above and beyond today. One of the best waiters and experiences of hospitality I have seen in years. We were welcomed, spoken to like friends, food served fast and even made sure our two year old was catered to in every possible way. Well done, we talked all the way home about how unusual it was these days, a lovely surprise.

Visited today with my boyfriend who has always raved about TGIS but hasn’t been for a while. It was my first time ever going today and I was disappointed. The mozzarella dippers and chicken starter were both really nice and we enjoyed. He ordered the cheeseburger and the meat was not nice, it was tough and grissly and I cannot believe the cost of it. I ordered the pasta and it was covered in oil, dripping in it. The pasta had all split as it was so over cooked and soggy. We had brownies for dessert which we enjoyed. I could not quite believe the price for the food we got, really disappointed but did not have the heart to complain as the young girls serving were lovely.

So far my best TGI Friday restaurant, from start to finish excellent customer service. Food was tasty, service was quick, a really enjoyable experience. One of our small party was his birthday and we mentioned this to the staff, where they came round to our table clapping and singing, brought a balloon hat, and a free slice of cake, that's what I call customer service. Was happy to complete survey before we left and gave a tip for outstanding service. We'll Done

Food was great but the only thing that let's this place down is the prices , I personally think its overpriced as I paid £4.50 for a CAN of Dr Pepper!🤯. Apart from that, food was tasty , the lady who served us was great and friendly!

We never usually go to TGI's, we were flying out from the airport so called in, I remember having ribs at TGI Leeds once and they were nice so I ordered that, but they didnt have any, so I ordered a wagu burger, which they also didn't have, so I ended up ordering a cheeseburger whivh was nearly 20 quid and was pretty poor. The waitress was very apologetic though and threw in my cup of tea at the end for free as a gesture which I thought was pretty good. The place is tired looking, there was a leak in the ceiling dripping on the table behind us. Shame for the staff really when thr higher management couldn't give a hoot what the place looks like. 20 quid for a burger usually means nice surroundings. Not the case here. Rip off really.

Overpriced overcooked overrated , £16 per cocktail , unless you wanted to drink 2 of the same on 241 offer ! Food overcooked , lots of things sold out on menu ribs , prawns , burger, Staff did what they needed to do , no pleasantrys, basic service ! Def our last visit EVER !

American type food! It's on the expensive side for what it is but they don't scrimp of potions. You get plenty. We ordered the sesame seed chicken but we like the sweet sticky dishes. We had a late lunch and we didn't eat again till the next day. Service was excellent.

We went for my son's birthday last month and it wasn't the nicest meal I've had here. I've been to TGI Fridays plenty of times, and my go-to is the Jack Daniels sesame seed chicken stripes (my absolute favourite), but the dish I got on this occasion did not taste nice. They have definitely changed the recipe, and now it's nowhere near as nice, I was gutted. I just didn't end up enjoying my meal and regretted picking there for my son's birthday. You need to bring back the original Jack Daniels sauce, as there was nothing wrong with it at all.

Asked for birthday treatment, didnt get it. We watched them do it for 3 seperate visitors. Also prices have gone up by about 50 percent and the food is the same old bog standard stuff.

Felt royally ripped off, ordered chicken strip starter, hard..over cooked..then hadtwo chicken burgers (£16 each) size of a 50p, bun dry, served with 10 chips…Will not be going back.

Food was good, a little heavy on the salt, was jam packed but we were seen promptly and eating within half an hour which I don't mind as it tells me the food is being cooked fresh and not reheated
