The best restaurants in Heald Green Stockport North West

Our meal was delicious,as always.Such a shame,this gem of a restaurant, is closing.It was very busy,tonight but great service and everyone was having a great time.Thank you to all the lovely staff,you will be missed.

We chose here as it was close to Manchester airport. Great place, clean and modern. Very comfy bad. Great shower.

Had a lovely evening here and the food was lovely! Our server Laura was brilliant always checking that everything was okay and if we needed anything. She made us feel so welcome! Great service 😊

Had an awesome bottomless pancake brunch (limited time). Bacon & maple pancakes were awesome, just the right amount of syrup to taste but not overwhelm the pancakes or bacon. Also had the Strawberry pancakes, which were delicious. Had my fav Raspberry Crush mocktails (the one with orange sorbet). Overall fabulous. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Nice place for a healthy ish meal :) always tasty sandwiches.

Had a really poor experience when visited on 16 November. Had extensive safety and safeguarding concerns and immediately relayed these to the management in writing who said they would look into it. They offered me two free passes and I said I wouldn’t return until I know safety problems have been investigated and remedied. I sent several follow up emails before posting this negative review, they haven’t even bothered to reply. My concerns were: 1. No supervision in the indoor play area. It was a wet day. It was so (dangerously) overcrowded and older kids running everywhere in the toddler and baby areas. Did not see a single staff member anywhere in the play barn. Compare this to head over heels where staff regularly patrol and supervise 2. There are no locks or child protection gates on any of the the main exit doors straight out of the play barn and onto a car park. Shocking. When I was there I had to stop a couple of small toddlers (including my own!) from walking out- it’s just a normal door handle and the door was even left open when I was there. Dangerously unsafe 3. There are three steep stairs upto the main toilets near the play barn- the doors open outwards towards you as you approach. My toddlers fell backwards down the steps. 4. The door directly leading to the car park has no child lock- sign high up are asking parents to keep door closed but kids can easily open the normal door handle and run into the car park as cars reverse - could injure or kill a child I attempted to resolve matters directly with the company but they don’t seem to care as haven’t replied. Said three weeks ago they would discuss in a staff meeting but said nothing since despite my polite follow up emails. Therefore I have now reported them to ROSPA and the local council to investigate safety concerns So disappointed. Probably more disappointed that they think offering me two free passes was a resolution - why would I bring my children back here given my safety concerns ?

Ok I could say the staff were excellent and they are I could say the meal was very good and it was , the chairs are very comfortable, yes true. My only complaint is I have to leave at 4 am tomorrow morning so I can’t stay any longer.

This cafe claims to be British but doesn’t serve bacon in cooked breakfast or sandwiches. Now serving Turkey Bacon. I won’t be using this place again. I will use Coopers on Wilmslow Road or Cafe on the Lane. Always vote with your money.

This place is amazing for any occasion! The food is delicious, with a great variety of flavors that satisfy every craving. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a casual meal or a special celebration. The service is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall fantastic experience. Highly recommended!

A very limited and poor menu. Food was straight out of Icelands bargain end shelf and the furniture was literally falling apart. Looks like it has been intentionally rundown and was only used by people staying at the premier inn next door.

No complaints whatsoever, been using Hung Wan for about 30 years as a go to convenience, never disappointed. Dave B.

A nice pub - we were in the area and chose to eat here on a Thursday which was curry night. The deal is £15 for a curry and a drink which is a bargain.
