Paradise Spice in Stockport

Our meal was delicious,as always.Such a shame,this gem of a restaurant, is closing.It was very busy,tonight but great service and everyone was having a great time.Thank you to all the lovely staff,you will be missed.

myself and dave have enjoyed so many meals including Xmas with paradise spice heald green atleast 5 times also many birthday celebrations with family members have loved every visit wish we gadcommented earlier so sorry if your closing we will miss you loads 😢 love to you ❤️ all x

Sadly shutting in 2 weeks or so but gave me some of the best indian food I've ever had. Not busy the vast majority of the time. Waiters very polite and friendly. Thank you for the fabulous food Paradise Spice, sad your going out of business. Yours sincerely, Jack.

Had an okay meal. Place was empty apart from one other couple. Had arranged the meal for a pre-Christmas catch up with a friend. The food was quick to arrive and the staff were polite. Once we had finished our meal we were given the bill without us asking for it, even though we were still drinking our drinks. This made us feel uncomfortable, like we had to leave and you could tell they wanted to close. It was just before 9pm so it wasn't late and website says open until 11pm. We weren't planning on staying for much longer, so found it a bit disappointing to be made to feel like we were in the way. We won't be returning.

Excellent food. Everything was hot and plenty of choice. Staff were very attentive and friendly.Restaurant was very clean and tidy.Will be returning.

I have been to this restaurant most of the times during my business trip in Manchester, i have tried their cheese naan, dal tadka, paneer jalfrezi, veg & chicken biryani, veg pulao, if you’re looking for vegetarian options you can visit this place

Looking for a place to eat as the beefeater next to the Premier Inn was shut this evening. Just wanted something easy and reasonably priced before our flight in the morning - this was OK. Staff were lovely and good filled a gap!

Great chicken tikka balti. Meat was plentiful and well spiced. Sauce was delicious and garlic naan cooked fresh was a true delight.

Excellent food, great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Unfortunately I developed abdominal cramps and diarrhoea +++ overnight having eaten an early dinner here, I can only conclude hygiene standards are lacking.

Amazing service great curries and Vegetarian options lovely Fresh food, amazing, fresh,poppadoms different dips. Really nice, definitely be back.

Best curry house in Manchester!

I was there on a business trip or would never have gone to this Bangladeshi restaurant providing the usual british curries and kebabs, most of them which are as vapid and misleading as the names of the menu items - nothing authentic about the food there. Food was awful and overpriced. I just wanted to finish and get the hell out of there.

Most staff don’t understand English you order a medium Curry and you get hot also the bill was wrong charging for things we did not have and also charging for pickle and chutney tray we never asked for which is the first time any Indian restaurant has charged for that We own an Indian restaurant in Spain where the staff and device are professional

Been many times... Thou a little shocked on this visit to find it empty on a friday night at 6.45pm? But soon got busier. If you can come and support your local curry house you wont be disappointed

I had previously dined at the restaurant and thought I would go back with a friend. I was very disappointed with my main course (chicken Korma) compared to my previous experience. The source was like ‘soup’ with a few clumps of chicken - no taste what so ever! I raised my concern to the waiter who took the dish away and said he would thicken up to source and address the lack of taste.. The waiter returned placed the dish on the table speedily proceeding to another table. I paid the bill no follow through over the issue with the dish. I sensed the restaurant was more concerned over filling tables and taking care of their take away customers. Poor quality food and customer service. To be honest I could have diced up some chicken poured over the ready made source from the supermarket and it would have tasted better at a fraction of the cost. This was a poor experience and I will not be returning or recommend any one to dine there. I know what good food is I have travelled . I was not expecting high end dining, but please provide a dish with taste!

Ordered takeaway to be delivered via their app - didn’t deliver my naan, rang them, wouldn’t redeliver the naan and wouldn’t refund money for the naan on my card which is how I paid - stated I had to go into the shop to get my money back for the naan - defeats the whole point of delivery - they add on £2 delivery charge too… food was just ok - won’t order again from here.

The chicken korma is probably one of the best things in the world.

Chance find & we were glad we went in! Friendly service, huge portions & reasonably priced! We had poppadoms with an interesting pickle tray. Then lamb Lahore - really tender lamb & very tasty, lamb Tikka jalfrazi, Bombay aloo, bhindi bhaji - both seemed freshly cooked, mushroom pilau & garlic naan - really light & fluffy! All delicious but we'd ordered more than we needed!

Ordered a lamb tikka kahari and it was very tasty, full of flavour.

I've had several meals here and every mouthful has been a delight. Last night's Murgi Masalla was one of the nicest dishes I've eaten. Thanks so much, I'll be back very soon!

First visit, drove 10 miles to get here at someone's recommendation. Wasn't disappointed. Good varied menu. Attentive service, great tasty hot food, and good prices too. Will definitely go back.

A bit like if you cooked an Indian at home having never cooked one before and didn't have all the right ingredients but you gave it your best shot anyway and then garneshed it with an omelette?? You could literally get a more authentic Indian by warming up a microwave pouch of uncle Ben's rice.

It was my first and last visit, Sunday buffet was very poor only 3 items there on top of that the food was cold the onion bahaijs were very big and dry. Zero spice in their food.

Me and 13 other members of family and friends went to paradise spice one October the 23rd for there Sunday buffet..the food was average not much choice and it seemed like the staff couldn't wait to get rid of us even taking drinks away early and trying to relay the table as we just went out for a cigarette in-between courses rude to the children all this evening though we'd spent in excess over £200 ...won't be going there again and to top it off not been off the toilet ever since...disgusting service...average food...rubbish experience

Food is tasty and decent proportions. Never eaten in but always had takeouts. They cater for what we always asked for and the point system is a great idea. 👍🏽

We are regular diners at Paradise Spice but tonight was a let down. Extremely long wait for main course to arrive, had to ask how much longer food would be, I had taken insulin (15/20 mins after we arrived) and was supposed to eat within 15mins but was waiting nearly an hour from time of arrival, people who came after us were getting their main course. When food was eventually served mine was lukewarm, to be fair others in our party had piping hot food and really enjoyed it. Never had any complaint before but not happy with tonight’s service or my food.

What a find this place was. 10 mins from Manchester Airport, just one stop on the train. Had the set menu for £32 for 2 people. Don’t be fooled by the descriptions, there is more than enough for 2 or 3 people; the chicken chaat was fantastic and the onion bhajis are bigger than cricket balls. The mains were equally good, wine and beer decent and keenly priced. Will definitely be returning when next at Manchester airport pre holiday!

We grabbed takeaway for the nearby Premier Inn, and it was pretty tasty. Certainly better than I was expecting, more flavoursome than most.

Sunday buffet. Onion bahjis are big and crunchy, very nice. But the buffet same old dishes. Never anything different. It's nice food. But could do with a revamp. It's been the same many forever.

Poor service. Went for my farewell trip and we were left unattended. Starters were good though. Ordered Biryani for main course and it was pretty average.

Terrible experience with their delivery option. Ordered food for delivery, got a call an hour later saying deliver was not available and to make matters worse they asked me to travel into their restaurant to get a refund. Absolute joke. Never going back there. Terrible disregard for customers 👎

I finished work quite late and asked if they would let me sit in so close to closing time, staff was more than happy to serve me. The popadom and chutney was so much choice I didn’t know which one to choose they were all so nice. I had tandoor lamb chops as a starter and they was so flavoured I could have ate more. The chicken tikka balti I had was so good. Massive chunks of chicken. Loads of rice and chips. I had to half my meal into 2 as there was so much. Amazing will be returning.

Went to Paradise Spice on the whole it has been good over the many years we have gone. How ever had lamb shisik. The lamb myst have walked from the Peak District it was tough,tough and tasteless. To top that cold with massive of tasteless salad. My partner had chicken biriani. His was like warm and not very good either. If I had not been there with daughter and grandchildren would have complained but she does not like a "fuss". Will take a lot to get me back given going in present finanical times. Restaurants have to be good. Extremely disappointed.

Just Had a Takeaway from Paradise Spice we didn't Ring the order in , my Partner went in person , Told staff our order which is usually the Same meal all the Time , He Reads it out to them and they Right it down , once again they got the order wrong Not the first time but each time we give them another try 😡👎 they gave us wrong meal , over done very hard onion Bhaji , cold food , Didn't enjoy meal at tall really unhappy with them again , and we Supported them all through the Lockdown as takeaways were able to open , Very disappointed tonight put us off 😡👎

Tried Paradise Spice after my usual take away closed for refurbishment. Ordered a number of veggie dishes for home delivery. Polite, helpful telephone ordering service, Reasonable prices and pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes; saag aloo, bombay aloo, tarka daal and madras sauce;...

Ambience was alright. Veg biryani was very ordinary, nothing great.

Considering the review, we ordered a lamb gravy and specified it should be very spicy and should have less pieces. But they haven't heard anything and just gave the usual gravy ( not sure if it's freshly made or old stuff). It didn't taste well. Very disappointed..

When I moved to Darbyshire, if I wanted a really good curry, served by attentive staff in a good atmosphere, I would travel to the PARADISE SPICE, it was well worth it I can not recommend this Restaurant highly enough.

Paradise spice is a lovely friendly place nice atmosphere staff are really nice make you feel wellcome food is excellent and always hot good quality food.would always go back again sometime.
