Spice Tower in Stockport

Excellent food, lovely delivery driver, top service. Food hot and delivered quickly, driver went out of his way to find my house. I rarely leave Google reviews and only do so when a place/business deserves one. I HIGHLY recommend Spice Tower.

Was a bit of a wait so we were given free dessert.

The service is terrible waited 2 hours for our mains plenty of workers on and doing nothing, the restaurant is empty aswell.

Wanted to try the advertised offer on a big banner outside special Wednesday and Sunday! To be told it wasn’t on today. Not sure what’s so special about the 29th December but won’t now return.

We stopped going to this restaurant some time ago as the food, service and atmosphere was terrible. We heard that new owners had taken over and we gave it a try. What a difference!! Food is great and the service was great too. Long may it continue. The Spice Tower is back up and running!!

Really good food both in the restaurant and to takeaway. Chicken Madras is fantastic as are many of the signature dishes. The restaurant is cosy and friendly.

We ordered a curry for delivery it’s our wedding anniversary , my husband reveals message informing him The Spice Tower had cancelled our order. Happy Anniversary…… not the best customer service.

Delivery time was very good but I felt the Bhuna I had was not of a decent standard. It was too oily, lacked the flavours I’ve come to expect, and included far too many tomato’s for my liking. The level of spice was perfect but everything else was lacking unfortunately.

food was ok, its never good though when staff start to vacuum the carpets whilst you are still trying to finish your meal, wont be going back.

Ordered a takeout tonight, it was delivered really quickly and was absolutely delicious! They did miss our chicken chat starter but when I called to tell them the apologied and sent it out straight away, it arrived within 5 minutes! Highly recommended 👌

We have been here on few occasions and the food is always spot on. Service and the staffs are super. We always come here on our every visit.

It was early doors so not much atmosphere, background Indian music was quite loud. Place was very clean.Staff and service was excellent. My wife and I just went for poppadoms and chutney tray, plus two mains. My Jalfrezi was OK as was my other half's Rogan Josh(good size portions) but I have to say they both lacked spice giving a bland taste. Naan ok, Pilau rice luke warm.

Having eaten in the restaurant several times and food lovely the takeaway last Sunday did not compare whatsoever. The onion bhajis were the best part of the meal. The chicken rogan Josh was bland, watery and tasteless, the chicken tikka jalfrezi was chewy and the nan bread like rubber. A waste of almost £30. I emailed the restaurant last Monday and have not had a reply. Extremely disappointed.

all the food arrived but was all cold. we live 1 minute away from the restaurant so don't understand how it was so cold

I have eaten here before and knew the staff were friendly and the food excellent. I recently had my birthday meal here with a couple of friends. I think 'Josh' must have spotted my birthday card and baloon on my table because after the meal a waiter presented me with a small dessert with a candle in it and got everone to sing ;Happy Birthday'. You can imagine my surprise, my secret was out now the whole restaurant knew it was my birthday much to the amusement of my wife and friends, Thankyou Josh for making it a fun and memorable evening.

Vegetable curry ordered. Arrived 85 percent potato. Also can't order vegan food on website. Vegetable rice poor. Very disappointed

Worst I've had in a very long time. Been to the restaurant a number of times but this takeaway was just awful. Ready meals taste better. Put in the bin. I will not be ordering from them again unfortunately.

Ordered takeaway via Just Eat, onion bhajis were missing but after calling up the restaurant promptly and efficiently sorted it, quickly sending out the missing item and poppadoms complimentary. Very impressed, mistakes happen in all jobs all the time but was so happy how promptly this was sorted. Food was 10 out of 10, delicious and packaged very cleanly and appetising. Will definitely return and cannot recommend enough!

Extremely upsetting and bad experience - if you do order food order from the Spice Tower order from Just Eat, in writing because Spice Tower won’t accept their mistake and will argue with you that they are right and you are wrong, therefore always make sure you have written proof of your order - in addition you get discounts when ordering through just eats which you don’t get in the restaurant - I won’t be eating the restaurant again, I will always order by phone through Just Eat

We went for Sunday special deal, food was amazing, best dish was naga lamb, naan so soft, everything was fresh, service was amazing, josh was very helpful answered all the questions promptly. Recommended to try out. Thank you

Been here a lot lately, went last night had a Madras could of made better myself, watery no taste. I mentioned this to owner who replied same chef and walked off. Lf this is their attitude no wonder the place is empty. While i am on my rant they employ the most surly arrogant waiter he's been there years dosnt make you feel welcome anyway think we'll give it a miss as i feel a lot of people are doing.

Not really sure where all these reviews are from. We collected the order the place didn’t even smell of curry which was a massive red flag when I walked in. The food was awful tikka wasn’t too bad but just all tasted really strange like it was old and just microwaved.

Excellent food, great portion sizes and very friendly servers. Best Indian I’ve had. Will definitely come back and recommend trying if you’re looking for a reasonably priced meal that is worth every penny.

Probably the worst curry ive ever experienced, food tasted defrosted as the chicken and curry both tasted watery. Staff were rude once we complained. We were eating on a sunday as part of their 'Sunday deal' so once we refused to pay for the curry he tried to make the price back up by charging full price for the individual items. Would not recommend.

We went to the spice tower to try the food there and wont be returning. The main currys, one had clearly been defrosted and the other was bland and very basic. The chicken pieces tasted 'cheap' and the texture was all off - again like it had been defrosted and, not one thing fresh about it. Didn't eat any of it, told the staff it was un-edible which was clear due to it not being eaten. Asked for the bill and they hadn't even taken any meals off or to be honest asked if we wanted to try another dish would off been something. Manager had a bad attitude and told us we, we should off told staff, we did however all they did was take it away. He then tried to charge us for side dishes which we couldn't eat as we had no main to eat them with. Long story short avoid, so you don't waste your money like we did on a microwave meal..

Peshwari nan and bhajis were very nice, rice also v nice, popadoms were soft and both meals were a bit bland, madras and chum chum, the waiter was new giving terrible service but can be forgiven as ew, wont be going again as dissapointed.

Food fantastic yet again, delivery was early but that isn't an issue at all, this restaurant is a delight.

Chicken was really chewy and didn't taste full cooked and wasn't much flavour to the curry,, should have taken back, only went they're as normal curry house is closed on Tuesdays but won't be going back

Haven't been here for years but fancied a change from our usual takeaway curry. We had chicken and mixed shahslick and the food was delicious. Good portion and delivered quickly, will definitely return.

My vindaloo was uneatable had to throw it away it didn’t taste like curry but a spicy stew sorry

We had a lovely evening at Spice Tower Restaurant. We went to meet friends who lived close by. The food was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Lamb chops were really thin & a waste of money. Seek kebab tasted very odd Curry was good but naan looked factory made as it was perfectly round & flat. Sagaar is a lot better quality!
