The best restaurants in Duke's Sefton North West

Awful. Cold food. Dry stale pizza crust. VERY slow to serve. Terrible. If you order for home delivery it can take up to 2 hours to arrive and the pizza arrives stone cold. It's the worst takeaway place in Southport.

Worst chips EVER, warmed up at least 3 maybe 4 times by them. I've had warmed up chips from a chippy but these were not edible at all. Never returning here again

Well my meal was awful, meat tough and obviously not fit for human consumption, binned the lot, at £11 this cost me dearly, feel free to reply

Worst service I have faced, staff don’t have manners how to talk with their customers, they are very rude with customers and I willl never visit the Londos again. Really worst service.

Lovely burger with bacon n cheese on my first visit to Hey Burger. Also had chips and a milkshake The staff were friendly and cooked it fresh as quickly as possible. All packed up well, with even the burger wrapped in tin foil to keep it warm Definitely above a Big Mac in quality and size but you do pay for it. All very tasty and would visit again if I fancied a burger. Worth a try at least.

Went in for some sausage rolls (which were good). Also bought a seasonal treat which was a Christmas tree shortbread but seemed more chewy like a cake rather than crunchy like a shortbread. Tasted nice but was not the right consistency.

I popped into The Avenue when I was visiting Southport on my own. There are quite a few bars on this stretch. I really wanted to try some of them out as I was new to the town. The Avenue really stood out as somewhere that I could get a warm welcome and some quality entertainment. The Guinness was a little more expensive than some of the other bars in the area. However, at £4:60, I felt that this represented excellent value for money. The staff were really friendly and made me feel like a “local” even though I didn’t know many people in the town. The music was excellent. There were two different covers acts who played from about 9pm until about 2:30 in the morning. They played a lot of folk and indie songs as well as songs with a local connection, such as the Coral. I thought the music was really good and before I knew it I was singing along and really getting into the vibe. I really liked the girl who was working behind the bar. She greeted me warmly and she looked after me all night by serving me drinks when I wanted one. She was up for a laugh and a giggle and all of the staff seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as the customers. All in all I would recommend a night out in Southport to anyone. This bar in particular should be top of your list for a night out. I definitely had an unforgettable time at the Avenue and I would recommend a visit to this bar to anyone.

Nice surroundings, however food was not. Only 2 other tables occupied also, so no excuse. Full breakfast ordered, bacon uncooked, cold beans, cold coffee, sausages no meat content. Vegetarian breakfast, sausages were overcooked, tasteless also. Cold beans, strange tomato concoction, like puree. Hash browns and fried eggs were good on both breakfasts. Wish we had read reviews prior. Did not complain, as couldn’t be bothered with their unprofessional attitude, noted when food was placed on the table. Writing review so no one else wastes their money, AVOID

We had my daughters wedding reception here on Saturday, it was an amazing day. The atmosphere and the staff %100 helped to make this day as amazing as it was. The waitresses worked so hard with a continual smiles and the food was hot fresh and tasty. Bar staff also friendly and busy (as we drunk a lot )they were polite and service brilliant. Have no qualms in saying a big “Thankyou “ to all staff at Reuters you helped make the day perfect. X

Over priced..staff not very accomodating..had a complaint about the food being tasteless and bland considering the cost..manager very rude didnt even offer to replace the meal with something else it wasnt like i was asking for a refund i just wanted what i supposlingly paid for "flavoursome" instead i got bland and cold would not recommend this place to anybody

Love KFC was served by Ben F who was accommodating as I orded a gravy mega box for girlfriend. It was very polite and quick service by Ben F. Well done Ben

Begin by ordering food, i asked how big the fish was as i was ordering to split it between two people, she showed me.. and the two guys cooking mocked me for asking. The food was great, the lady who served me was lovely and accommodated really well. However i went up to ask for ketchup, and she threw it on the counter, so i said thank you and walked away. I expected better.

Absolutely horrendous 1/10 for taste Chips under the kebab so favoured with kebab No salt. Taste bland
