I ordered 2 pizzas, waited over an hour to be told its was delivered, it wasn't called store to be told its on its way. Eventually it arrived totally wrong order and told it would be nearly 2 hours for another delivery or I have to wait a week for refund. If Allergic too an item they will make you ill, avoid at ALL COSTS USE A BETTER COMPANY.

Placed order after looking at a leaflet as no menu in sight as was staying in local Travelodge waited 20 minutes for a medium pizza while a male stood in the back eating a pizza he then gave me my pizza no apologies or thank you waiting let's just say the only reason I have eaten it was I was starving

Waited 50 mins for pizza, when it arrived the chicken club pizza was covered in brown sauce, phoned for replacement told 30 mins, waited for 1hour still not arrived. Called again told 5mins, waited a further 15 minutes then they delivered somebody else's pizza. So I ordered a pizza at 630pm it is now 840pm and I have had the wrong pizza delivered twice. I was a regular customer at Southport branch, I have never experienced incompetence like it.I wouldn't mind but this isn't the first time this has happened. Someone at Southport likes to spread brown sauce on all the pizzas, Some serious training needed. Let's see if they can manage to refund me. I'm not holding out much hope.

Came here after a evening walk and wanted to atleast look at the menu before going back to my hotel room for the night, as my hotel was pretty much next door to papa johns, this papa John's pizza place is quite bare and Could do with some advertising boards and posters up,, the place itself is quite clean and tidy and upon entering was greeted. I ended up getting a desert to try and enjoy while back in my hotel room.. I got the cinnamon scrolls, and they was really good,, fresh and tasty and I would definatly try/get them again..

I placed an order in person for eight pizzas for a green room party after a concert. Because of the size of the order there was a good deal on offer. I was to ring when the applause died down for a delivery at home. Delivery was just perfect three minutes after I arrived home. The food was sumptuous and there was an added sprinkling of dips as a bonus.Thank you Stephanie for making this a really great evening - I will return.

My pizza was the usual high quality you expect from Papa Johns and the lovely girl at the counter even coped well with my asking for it to be sent back and more cooked, like three times. What can I say ? I like cremated pizza. Hard to fault for the cost, I’ll be back.

Easy order online, pizzas were ready and waiting, got back to our hotel room and they were lovely and hot. The giant cookie desert is amazing!!!

Made a small order last night thinking that they would be the best bet for good food to come reasonably quicker than an original takeaway, after an hour and a half! the tracker showed that the food had been delivered? 'tuck in' was shown on the webpage. But we had no food? after ANOTHER half hour, still no food! and no answer on their store phone. The store was near to closing and I had payed by card for the order that was not here, after another 15 minutes I decided to give up and try elsewhere when it finally arrived. Only to be nearly COLD and there were missing ingredients on the food we ordered? Fuming. Don't order from here folks.

We waited for an hour and ten minutes for delivery of our order. On a Sunday evening at quarter to ten in the evening, hardly peak time! The best part of this fiasco? We only ordered two tubs of Ben and jerries ice cream. Nothing hot, nothing needing cooking. An hour and ten minutes for just ice cream.Ordered from them previously but progressively gotten worse each time, both quality of food, missing items and now over an hour for two flipping tubs of ice cream!Don't bother with this store, they've obviously given up.

Waited for 50 minutes only to be greeted with the wrong order. It took them another 25 mins to deliver my food which was cold when it finally arrived. Both delivery persons were rude and didn't apologise. Needless to say I'm not gonna be ordering from this store again.

for the last times we have ordered we have had cold food and orders wrong when we got promised off manager it wouldnt happen again..well it did so thats 4 orders each over 40 pound papa johns dont care anymore since beth and new manager now run it gone to the dogs and even going as far as posting the managers respomces to complaints on you tube papa johns take this fancise away as they dont care !!!!!!!!!

We used to get our food piping hot. And of late it’s just cold, after cold after cold. Why wait another hour just to be disappointed! There BBQ sauce for their chicken wings is absolutely disgusting. If you have had good BBQ chicken wings somewhere else, don’t try theirs. It’ll put you off for life. Just smells strongly of vinegar and tastes vile. It’ll be a while before I order their pizzas again. Hopefully by then they’ll know how to serve hot food. Maybe, just maybe, learn how to make a decent BBQ sauce and serve their chicken hot as well.

Ordered pizza, side and desserts on New Years eve X large festive pizza arrived barely lukewarm and tough dough overcooked, garlic/cheese pieces were okay but the desserts were burnt and totally inedible had to be binned.

Staying at the Travel Lodge and very conveniently Papa Johns is right next door. First time ever had Papa Johns pizza and wanted the Greek on a small thin. Craig was really helpful as this is not normally available on small thin. He went and asked if it could be done for me. I even got a free sample of their new cake, it was delicious as was my pizza. I will be paying a visit to my hometown one and will hope the service is as good as Southport.

Telephoned our order - picked up and was piping hot and just out of the oven. Was tasty and filling - no sides needed!

Staff are friendly and very efficient - the food was very tasty and freshly cooked and great value for money.

Had a delivery from Papa Johns yesterday.. on-line ordering and payment was quick and easy. Our pizza’s arrived within 20 minutes and were delivered by a very polite and friendly young man. The quality of the food was excellent , and the flavours were great. The pizza was fresh and hot . Used a 2-4-1 deal and so was excellent value for money too !

We were staying in Southport on a family holiday and went to papa johns to get a pizza when we got them back the meat pizza had hardly any cheese on it was more like pasta sauce with pepperoni on a dough base ... for the price I was very disappointed

Friendly staff,very nice pizza and a prompt service.and only a short walk away so very handy.they deliver as well.

We were staying in the Travel lodge so decided to get takeaway food to eat in our room, my daughter and i got bits and my husband got a pizza, none of the food we got was brillant, so were really disappoint and wouln't waste our money getting food from their if we were their again!

We have had pizza from here on several occasions and it has always been tasty. My last review gave 5*. Last night's pizza was dreadful. Overcooked and tough and just had a really weird taste to it. I only managed 2 slices. Very disappointed indeed.

On 2 separate occasions in the last month we’ve ordered pizza from papa Johns Southport lord street and it had been over cooked and very tough. Far too many other options around so won’t be ordering from here again.

When the Southport fireworks competition had ended, crowds were flooding back through the town. We popped into a busy Papa John's to grab some food for the walk back to the in-laws' house. This was to be our first ever Papa John's pizza.

Such a good menu. Pizza delivery fast and super hot. Reasonably priced would recommend. I think they are much better than their rivals

Mainstream fat food pizzas, make sure you catch them on a week night you can have 2 massive pizzas for under tenner.

I had registered online on a previous occasion with the intention of ordering from them having had leaflets through our door about offers etc. When I went to order 4 pizza's we noticed that there were better offers than what had been showed on the leaflet so got a great deal. They were not greasy as some pizza's can be and very tasty. Liked by all 4 of us and choice of toppings and bases were good. We collected ourselves and they were ready when we were told online that they would be.

Lovely pizzas, delivered fresh to our door, they quoted 45 min wait but was with us very quickly. Will definately use for our next pizza takeaway

We had 2 large pizza from here, very good they were. If you order online you save a third and get into the loyalty scheme. Tuesday is 2 for 1 day.

Won a competition for a free pizza (@PapaJohns_1 on twitter). I went for a large 'the works' a great taste from first to last slice. Have been a few times before, much better than they other well known American pizza chain.

Ordered 30 mixed large pizzas for a work occasion. Everything arrived on time and in full. Complements and thanks to all that helped out. Got a great deal and free drinks thrown in too. Thanks again. John

I only eat pizza maybe once a year so thought i would try here . I shouldn't have bothered as i agree with a previous reviewer who said the box would have tasted better.

So when this restaurant opened up last year I thought it would be brilliant as I've only ever heard good things about Papa John's from friends in different locations. So I ordered a Magherita Pizza and a side of potato wedges for delivery - now anyone who knows me knows that I basically never refuse chip/ wedges/ the like (it's my big downfall), and I don't shy away from a pizza (especially if I've forked out money for take out)! So to throw the majority of the Pizza away and all but 3 wedges, due to being dry and quite hard (may as well have eaten the cardboard boxes they came in) is really saying something in my book. I was so so disappointed with the food and I have never eaten from there since.

Ordered and delivered within 40 minutes, the delivery guy was cheerful, pleasant and a charming young man. The pizza were hot and very tasty. Will definitely be ordering again. Thanks for very good service and pizzas!

Great value, fast service and then when someone nicked our corn cobs they offered a bottle of pop whilst we waited for fresh ones to be cooked! And those cinnamon twists.. oh my!

This order was slightly different, I accidently ordered the wrong pizza and base. But I was pleasantly surprised when the pizza tasted awesome. So I know the guys at Papa J's make a mean pizza no matter what.

Had a Papa John's on Saturday night. The quality was very poor for the money you pay. They are meant to have such high quality standards but not at the Southport branch. Won't be going back.

Ordered a pizza via the app which was very easy. I waited over an hour for it to be delivered. I called as to why it was do late as I live close by and would have collected should I been informed it would be so long. Asked to speak to the manager who was "too busy" and took my number to call me back. I never received the call nor will I return.

Waited over 90 mins from ordering via phone to collecting in store . Was told half hour which was fine then once i arrived it took over an hour to recieve order . Wouldn't try hear again dispite the pizza being nice

Lovely quick service. We like papa johns but don't have one near us so always treat ourselves once see one. This was 30 seconds from our hotel. Extremely tasty pizza.

Let me start by sharing with you that I'm not a pizza lover at all. Never buy it in the supermarket and order Domino's maybe once or twice a year. The only other pizza I like is Costco.

A first time but my wife always says it is good. A take away Hawaiian was the choice and back in my room it was still piping hot. Excellent value (with the half price offer) - good quality though personally I am a Pizza Hut freak. Yet I would happily use them again.

The pizza's are superb. Thin base with huge fluffy crusts. Served with a small tub of garlic and tub of tomato for dipping said crusts.

Me and my boyfriend order from here and I got to say the pizzas were amazing we had (the works) and the (sausage pepperoni) the food arrived on time and was very hot... I will be ordering here again it's so tasty...I was thinking second thoughts but I'm glad my bf got me in to getting one now great food with the England match
