Henry's take away restaurant in Sefton

They did not bring my capri sun

This has happened twice in a row, last time I ordered here, it never came, I’m still waiting and it’s looking like it won’t come again for whatever reason. £35 down the drain including the last time this happened.

Order didn’t show up. Ordered around 22:30. Got an alert saying it was out for delivery at 23:20, then an alert saying ‘enjoy your food’, tried phoning the business 49 times to find out what was happening and the phone was off. I’ve now woken up this morning to two missed calls at 01:00 in the morning. By that point I’d got home, made alternative food and been in bed for an hour. Won’t be ordering again.

Second time we have tried. Both times ridiculously late over 45 mins over the hour already it takes even though we like 5 mins up the road. Food is cold not up to much. Used to be nice years ago, really gone down hill. Not sure if it’s the same people but won’t be coming back

The pizza was cold and didn’t have an option for having sweetcorn on it the chicken burger I order as well the bun was burned it was dry and had no sauce worst pizza and chicken burger I’ve ever had

All Food was awful. Got about 4 pieces of chicken on a tiny tortilla as a chicken wrap.

Food was not good. Really small portions, dry meat on the kebab with no salad or sauce. Not worth the money at all. Dry, overcooked chips with no salt, soggy onion rings. Very disappointing, thought we were getting a good deal but would have rather cooked or ordered from somewhere else. Won’t be ordering again.

was delicious! 3 meat kebab was amazing! crispy chicken 100%!! cheesy garlic mushrooms were the best! red salt chips are addictive!! bbq ribs just fall off the bone! my favourite place to go for takeaway food!! xx

Quick and friendly service! The food was okay - did the job. What really stood out was the generosity: got a free item thrown in and they kindly gave a Blue Light discount too. Can’t fault the experience for a late-night kebab stop – solid 5/5 for service and vibes.

Use Henry’s regularly and wouldn’t go anywhere else, can be hit and miss with delivery time and can wait a while some nights but it’s worth it, nicest pizza and Donna calzone around- 10/10

Food wasn’t great, paid extra for extra toppings on pizza and didn’t get extra at all, if anything we got less, the garlic bread with cheese was just basically bread! Won’t be ordering again. Very expensive for rubbish food!

Twice in a row now we’ve ordered from here and it has taken nearly two hours to arrive.

normally the food is lovely but lastnight dont know what it was but something from there turned me stomach and the wrap had to much sauce and no salad when its ment to be the otherway around and the pepsi tasted flat

I went in to the shop to pick up a pizza, when I got home it was wrong, I then ordered another one, that was over 45 minutes late. its not the first time this has happened, either really late or the wrong order has been sent.

Phoned at 7pm. Food arrived at 9pm. Tried calling several times but who was engaged the whole time. When It finally arrived it was cold. A really bad experience

Do great fresh naan kebabs, speedy service and the staff are always great to deal with.

it took 1 hour 20 minutes for a delivery, which unfortunately is a regular occurance, I think I will search for another outlet.

Henry’s used to be our favourite go to take away but has really gone downhill. Food took over 2 hours to arrive and when it did get here was like warm. No compensation for this given by the restaurant. I don’t know if it’s because of the 40% off offer causing them to be so bad now, if this is the case they need to manage orders better and stop taking orders they can not fulfill in a suitable time frame. Gutted as I say this used to be our go to take away but will now be going elsewhere

Food came just about warm. Drive was sat outside house for 5 minutes. Not been great last couple times we have ordered. Might leave it for a while before order again

it was over 2 hours late and the phone would just keep ringing it was answered once about 30 minutes after calling but once the food hit 45 minutes late the shop ignored all calls to complain about the time it took to come or the burnt pizza

The delivery time was estimated at 20:05 - 20:25. It actually arrive at 20:42. The food was luke warm and wasn’t very appetising. So not a great experience for the cost of the meal.

We order regularly from Henry’s. Tonight was great as always! Three meat kebab was hot and was so good! Garlic bread with cheese was really nice! Chicken burger and chips was on point! Highly recommend anybody that hasn’t been here to try.

I usually love going here but the past 3 times it’s been late and it says it’s been delivered but hasn’t left the shop. I’m going to stop going here

One item was completely wrong and had to wait another 1hour to get the correct item for my original order and then my whole order was freezing cold

Got the 3 meat kebab and nowhere near the price that they charge for it. I got 3 strips of donner and a few chunks of the other meats. half the kebab was a salad. I can spend £5 less at other places and get way more. Daylight robbery tbh. Also ordered Cheesy fries that didn't even have cheese on them. This place has really gone down hill recently.

Ask for tub of hot sauce and got coleslaw and no red salt on onion rings but it was lovely

Worst double cheeseburger ive ever ordered one of the burgers was hardly cooked all the other orders where squashed and could tell theyve been left for ages never ordering from here again not only that half hour late

the garlic mushroom with cheese did spill in the bag which was a bit annoying but overall lovely food as always thankyou :)

Hit and miss. Sadly all the hot food was cold - chips & garlic bread inedible - and the dips & salad were all hot. Disappointing as we’d ordered similar a few nights ago and it was lovely.

Not good!..The 3 meat kebab whicmain part of meal came rolled up like a sausage/pitta roll and wrapped in foil?? was all squashed together, mushy and cold! garlic bread was hard and cold as where the burger and chips. The chicken was l luke warm so I ate that...was nice and tasty....I gave you 3 stars still because you rang me about an item being unavailable which was great cust service and you are normally deliver amazing food hopefully a on

Awful food was cold when it arrived

the kebabs and pizzas from here are absolutely incredible. you never expect the best lamb from a takeaway but the lamb in the kebabs is quality, soft and tender and full of flavour.
